I got the Brighten Me Up Sunshine with Erin!! The name of the salon sold me! I'm so happy I found Live Free & Dye & Erin! She is the best & my daughter likes getting her haircut by her too!! I highly recommend Erin!!

Britanny is one of a kind. Not only was she able to make a brassy tones brunette into a blonde effortlessly, but she's fun to talk to and time flies in her chair. Also her space is super beautiful!

I can't say enough good things about Live Free & Dye Salon and Britt Perry. I have been Britt's client (and friend) before LF&D was even a thought but her talent still never ceases to amaze me. When I was getting married, her and the girls took on 11 bridesmaids (plus me) and made it look easy. Everyone's hair was immaculate and stayed perfect long into the night. It was also nice having someone whom I love so much doing my hair for my special day. She kept me at ease all morning long. I can't imagine going any place else to get my beast hair tamed. The girls at LF&D are the best of the best.

We love Live Free & Dye Salon. The salon has a clean, modern, and inviting atmosphere. Brittany is a wizard with full highlights and blonding services, and that’s coming from someone with dark brown hair who is now an ashy blonde. My son has also had his hair cut there and she is so patient and accommodating. When I first came in as a new mom I was able to bring my baby and had a space to breast feed him during processing! Above & beyond customer service.

Brittany has been doing my hair since I was 12 and i’m convinced i will never let any other stylist touch my hair. Even when I was in college i waited to do anything with my hair until i was home. I have NEVER once in the over 10 years that i’ve been with brittany went home hating much hair, but gushing over it every. single. time. I have told her that the amount of compliments i get on my hair color and cuts almost * gets annoying

I was referred to Brittany by my daughter and she was certain I would love her. Brittany is truly the hairstylist I've been wanting my entire life. Unfortunately I messed up when I scheduled my appointment( my fault!) with Erin so she couldn’t cut my hair because she had to leave but Brittany was kind enough to squeeze me into her schedule. She cut my hair just the way I wanted & I truly appreciate her fitting me in. I highly recommend this salon, everyone there is so nice & welcoming. I will be back!

Clark Wood cut and styled my hair. He is a master stylist. This is the finest hair cutting experience I have ever had. He offered observations, listened to my concerns and made product suggestions. He spent time, before washing my hair, moving it around with purpose snipping and improving the problem areas that always bothered me. After shampooing and cutting he dried it beautifully and showed me how to do it myself at home. This is the first time I have walked out of a salon feeling fantastic! Update. Just had my second haircut with Clark. This hairstylist is Poughkeepsie’s treasure. Clark asked me for what was working and not working from the first cut. He moves my hair around like I have never seen anyone else do. He also showed me another drying technique. My hair has never felt or looked this good. I am so happy with his services. Highly recommend.

I love the atmosphere and location. Clark cut my hair and I am so satisfied! Other hairdressers in the past never understood what I was asking for, but Clark understood and delivered! I appreciate the time he takes to understand my hair before he starts cutting. I’ve never had a haircut like this before. I’m looking forward to next time.

I went to Live Free & Dye for the first time for a very very very overdue haircut & first time color. Brittany & the entire crew at Live Free & Dye truly made me feel comfortable, confident & absolutely pampered while I was there. Brittany did an unbelievable job with my cut and color. She really took the time to listen to and understand my vision and goals before we started. She absolutely nailed it. 1000% going back…in fact I already have my next cut & color booked. Love this spot.

I’ve gotten my hair done by all the stylist at Live Free & Dye. Every single one of them, Brittany, Jessica, Becky and Clark give devoted service with excellent results. It is definitely the best salon in the area. It is also located right between Starbucks and Panera which is a bonus perk. I personally guarantee you will be happy with any stylist you chose to give you a hair makeover. Not only are they great at what they do but it is the most friendly and upbeat atmosphere. I always show up about a half hour before my appointments because I am so excited to see the crew and also know I’m going to have the most amazing hair day. It is my selfcare therapy going to Live Free & Dye Salon! 💕

My third appointment with Clark. I'm so happy I could cry from joy. Cookie cutter haircuts don't work for me. My hair is weird and finicky. What works for others simply doesn't work for me. Clark takes the time each visit to really look at my hair, asks questions about what worked and what didn't. He uses his skills, his experience and YOUR input to get your hair to look the way you want it to. He explains techniques and processes in a way I can understand. He listens and validates me. When I ask for what I've asked every other hair cutter - who have responded with "no" or did the complete opposite; Clark's response was "oh, yes, we can do this or that...." For the first time in a very, very long time, I feel really good when I look in the mirror.
