AMAZING! My daughter decided she wanted to cut and donate her hair. A quick Google search led me to Little Shop of Hairdos. Shaina was incredible throughout the process. She communicated with me about what we wanted, let me know when she had a cancellation and was able to get us in earlier, and was so sweet and attentive with my girl. She took the time to make sure, this was something my daughter had truly thought through and that the short style wasn't going to create a bad experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. ❤️

Shaina did an amazing job with my hair. She’s very professional and kind. I normally feel a little awkward in the chair at other salons but I felt comfortable at her adorable studio and the conversation was great! She took her time with my hair and was very detail-oriented. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her and will be back for my next hair service very soon.

I needed 10 inches cut off for a hair donation. Shaina did a great job with what was left. She layered my hair as I asked, and I'm happy with the way it looks and feels. I enjoyed talking with her as she worked as well -- she's friendly with a good sense of humor and an extensive knowledge of horror movies. 😁

I loved my haircut & color! Shaina did an amazing job of talking through different options before we got started, and I had an absolutely lovely time chatting as the appointment went on. I felt like Shaina really took time to understand what I wanted and that made all the difference in the result - I tried something I never tried before and love it!

So it’s a weird name for a salon, but when you visit you will undoubtedly understand fully. The esthetic is truly matched to stylist you will find inside. Shaina is hands down wonderful. I can only speak for getting my haircut with her. But I also know her color work as well. They say genius comes with a little bit of eccentricity. Well, that’s kinda the idea. She is a great spirit and honestly so easy to talk to. Plus she isn’t dismissive as other stylists can be. She spends the time to talk and to assess your needs and helps you craft your goals. Unfortunately I am in Florida now and don’t get to see her as often as I would like. But if you are in the Triangle and are looking for the one to get you to your goals, see my girl.

Had such a great experience at Little Shop of Hairdos NC today! Shaina is amazing! She makes you feel comfortable and is easy to talk to. She did a Brazilian blowout for me, everything went smoothly and I loved how it looked. I was even able to see her finish up a cut and color for her previous client before me and I was so impressed by the vivid colors and transition of color she was able to create. I fully recommend Shaina. As a side bonus, if you love horror movies, you will love the decor.

I saw Shaina at Little Shop of Hairdos for the first time recently. She made me feel comfortable right away so it was easy to trust her with such a big cut (14+ inches!). I would definitely go back to her in the future!

Extremely confrontational to start off. When I arrived to my first appointment she was arguing on the phone with another individual. Very unprofessional to be arguing and unprepared for a service when your client shows up. Very hostile environment and the most unwelcome I’ve ever felt. Not only was I met with unpleasant behavior, but also subpar service. The first photo is my brunette hair when I first entered her chair and the second two are my “blonde balayage”. Very rough when brushing and washing my hair, multiple times her nails were caught in my hair and earrings after asking her to be gentle I was told “you’re just to tender headed”. After going to her the second time in hopes that she would do better I was charged for a “long haircut” to which I did not receive. Absolutely outlandish prices for mediocre service from an “experienced stylist”. After I found a new stylist I had no choice but to cut almost all of my length off due to irreparable damage from her service.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was in the process of finding a new hair stylist who would be able to accommodate my crazy schedule. I was so hesitant to go anywhere else since I had been with the same stylist for 8 years. I am SO happy I found Shaina and made the move. Shaina was AMAZING with my transition! She listened to all my concerns and nailed my color perfectly! Scheduling with Shaina is so easy and I am so impressed with the scheduling confirmations…. With my busy schedule this is so helpful! Her suite is so fun and Shaina is so fun to talk with I look forward to my appointments! I find it hard to sit still for a long period of time but time flies when I am at the Little Shop of Hairdos! A huge bonus is her suite is so FUN!

I had my hair cut for a donation and Shaina of Little Shop of Hairdos took care of it. She was friendly and professional and kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. Hair has to be prepared a specific way, completely dry, separated into multiple braided pony tails, cut, and then placed in ziploc bags. I was willing to have my head buzzed to maximize my donation and after being certain of what I wanted proceeded to prep and buzz my hair. In the end she evened out what was left and cleaned up my neckline and sideburns. I was very satisfied with the results. Thank you for the fantastic service!

I have been living in Raleigh for almost 14 years now and I have just found my forever hair salon home. I absolutely love little shop of hairdos! Shaina made me feel so welcome and she is super informative. You can tell she is very passionate and loves her work. She not only did an absolute amazing job on my hair but she is a very attentive person who sat and listened to what my hair goals are and absolutely nailed it. Very clean salon and great prices for the services I received. I am for once 1,000,000% happy with my hair and thrilled that I finally found my forever hair home!

I went to Little Shop of Hairdos for the first time a couple of months ago. I am SO glad I found Shaina! I have trichotillomania, therefore haircuts can be daunting and I worry about what other people will think. Shaina did a phenomenal job of making me feel comfortable. I left feeling amazing and was super excited with my new haircut! I’m already looking forward to scheduling my next appointment. Highly recommend her!

Just visited Little Shops of Hairdos today! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the conversation. I felt Shaina listened to what I wanted and delivered! I have not gotten a haircut in a very long time and I didn't feel shamed for cutting my own hair. I'm glad I met Shaina and look forward to working with her in the future!

First time getting my hair done at Little Shop of Hairdos and Shaina did an awesome job! I showed her inspiration pictures and she did a phenomenal job with adjusting those photos to my face shape and hair texture. This is my first time cutting my hair outside of my normal "trim" in the last few years and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll definitely be back to see Shaina at Little Shop of Hairdos and couldn’t recommend more to anyone in the Raleigh area.

I am almost 40 and up until 4 years ago, I was never faithful to a salon or hair specialist. I was a walk in girl, a box dye girl. No one impressed me or left me feeling better about myself. The a horrible, tragic, DIY lead me to find my hair soulmate. Shaina, is not only a talented artist, but she is one of the kindest people I know. I am a teacher on a limited budget but I still believe I deserve the best, and Shaina gives me a balance. Some months I can do more and others she is limited my budget, while the amount I can spend changes, my satisfaction and confidence once leaving her chair remains the same. All this to say, I have finally committed and trust someone not only with my hair but my budget and just me!

I am usually pretty petrified to get my haircut and for that reason waited a whole 2 years before my recent visit to Little Shop of Hairdo’s. This was the best haircut I’ve ever had, by far. Shaina was very straightforward about pricing (which didn’t change come time to swipe my card), checked if I was happy with any adjustments made during the cutting process, and made me excited to do my hair again! I'm a little late on getting my review in, but I wanted to say that I had a great experience with Shaina. My appointment was great from consultation to walking out the door with my new cut and color. I love Shaina's personality and she's my kind of people. She's a talented and skilled hairdresser. She listens to what you want and provided some suggestions that would work for my hair. I am fortunate to have the flexibility to have some fun with my colors at work and gave Shaina the reins to have a little fun as well. My colors turned out great and I've received many compliments. I'm happy to have found a stylist that I'd like to go back to.

Shaina is the best! She makes you feel comfortable from the minute you contact her and when you come in for your consultation. She listens really well and gives great advice and then when it comes time to the hair appointment you feel like it's been no time at all even if you've been there for 5 hours! She is super down to earth and treats clients like old friends.I haven't had a true stylist since I lived in Florida 6 years ago and now I think I've definitely found the stylist. When I came in I really hadn't done anything with my hair and almost 2 years. I sent photos back and forth with her before the appointment and she got my hair exactly how I didn't know I wanted it! it worked with all my parameters and is growing out looking really good! I cannot wait to experiment with it more under her guidance!
