2024-- I walked in at 945 this morning and most of the waiting area was full. They asked me what I wanted and I answered, a spa pedi and a full set. They told me to pick my color and sit and wait. I waited over an hour and a half to be put in a chair. The technician didn't ask me what type of pedicure I wanted, just started doing the basic. I wanted the paraffin, the massage, the whole nine yards. She never asked so I just let her do it, hoping she would bring out the lotion and scrub and wax after my toes were done. She did not. She then sent me to her nail station, and started my full set. I have a huge banquet coming up, a work function that is in one of the fancier "Gaylord" properties. She started the tips, glued a broken tip to one of my fingers, then asked what shape. I told her almond. She started cutting and acrylic-ing, and put the paint on them. More people have come in and been turned away due to the long wait, and she sped thru my service to get to the others waiting. The sides of my almond nails had sanded acrylic stuck to some of them and big blobs of acrylic under my nails. Multiple nails are different lengths and thickness. I then was told to wash my hands, she moved my personal affects(purse and credit card) and put another woman in my seat. I then went to pay, and she charged me extra (which wasn't discussed) for the almond shape. She did such a fast and subpar job I left her a terrible tip. Normally I tip my nail techs 20.00 per service rendered if they do a great job. 2025---The salon I moved to ten months ago, which did a better job in waterloo, illinois, was closed today. And I have a function that I have to be fancy at coming up this weekend. Another Gaylord property banquet. Think adult prom. I should not have gone back, re-reading my OWN review. The technicians were slow and attentive until more people piled in behind me, and then they sped through my selected services... a full set with gel paint. There is acrylic under most of my nails, and the nails are just awfully lumpy and thick. I'm going to have to pay someone else to redo them by Saturday. I should have listened to my own review ten months ago and refused to go back to this salon. I won't make this mistake again. Almost forty dollars for something that i'm going to have to have redone.

I am not a stranger to a pedicure. I had been getting gel pedicures back to back for a few months. I was prepared to get a gel pedicure at Lilys Nails, but red flags popped up causing me to change my mind. The first flag was the manicurist peeled off my gel polish with those tiny tweezer clippers. In my experience, a drill with a sander attachment is used; not peeling it off by hand. Second flag, the manicurist clipped my nails right away with out asking,(I’m used to establishments asking if you prefer nail clippers or file down). I was disappointed to see how uneven and short my nails were. This is when I quickly changed my mind to regular polish pedicure- the damage was done why would I waste more money. *****I did not just walk out as I should have, as I was treating someone else to getting their nails done at the same time.They did not have shared experience and I made the best out of a TERRIBLE experience. In the short clip, you can see that the regular polish service I received was extremely low quality and poorly done. I did insist someone else come and clean up/correct the pedicure before I left. Funnily, the new person had the nerve to ask me what I needed to be fixed as she in real time was fixing everything that visually needed correcting. *I really believe the male manicurist that worked on me today must have been the owner or something close to it because they did pocket the tip I directly handed to another manicurist (the one that did my companions nails) * ma’am, I don’t know why you thought I’d want him to have a tip after I just complained about his work. If for some reason the word didn’t get to him let me say it here- You did not earn that tip, I would have walked out, do better, this review is deserved. -Will not be back.

I have heard really good things about this nail salon so I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. The first time I went in I had a gentlemen that did my nails. Needless to say, he did a great job and I thought the pricing was very reasonable. I decided to come back for a second time a couple weeks later which happened to be today. When I walked in the salon it seemed pretty busy, however I went ahead and took a seat. After waiting around 30 minutes a lady had me come sit at her table. I waited for her to finish a pedicure for another customer. Once she came over she was very visibly in a hurry. As people were coming in and out she began to work quicker. I noticed that she didn’t spend any time on my hang nails or making sure that there wasn’t any polish or glue on my skin. I felt pushed out at the end. After I washed my hands and walked towards the register I was visibly upset. She came over and said oh it’s just glue and filed only 2 of my nails. I left super disappointed. After spending money and time at the nail salon the last thing that I want to do is come home and file/scrape the skin around my nails to make them look acceptable for my plans this weekend. Unfortunately, I will be finding a new nail salon after this experience. I had polish on my skin, glue on my skin, hang nails, and you could see through the polish because she didn’t do enough coats. I understand that it’s busy and there are a lot of customers, however it would be nice to receive the service that I am paying for. I will include pictures below.

They were extremely rude and unprofessional pointing and laughing at us. You could tell they were talking about us. They rushed through a pedicure and I decided to get a manicure and the man there was extremely rude also. To top it off my nails all look terrible. Way overpriced for such a service. Not the first time I’ve come here over the years. Gave this place more than one chance and I regret it

I am very sad and disgusted by the service here. My mother and I went to get our acrylic nails off and do dip. They took us quickly which was nice, but we did feel rushed. We told them we wanted the pearl glaze on our nails and the tech said ok. After our nails toes were done my mom asked if that was the pearl and I said no. We asked the techs and they then said they do not carry it. This wasnt the bad part. When taking our acrylics off they did not soak them. Instead they used nail clippers and then an unused acrylic nail and placed it between our nail and the fake ones we had. It was painful and they ruined our real nails. Several times I was asked where I went to get my nails done previously and was asked twice why I didnt like them. My nails had hang nails on them leftover from them with the tools they used and the dip had bubbles. To make matters worse we noticed some tools were not cleaned prior to using them on others. I have been here before and have never been treated like this before. I was very uncomfortable with how I was treated today and I will not be back. I did not know what to say. I thanked them and left. I love supporting local, but it makes me sad that I can no longer support them.

I have been coming in for years... this is the last time. I came in for a jelly pedicure, I get this every time. I was in the seat for over 2 hours. My feet were still rough and cuticle were not trimmed when I left. The gel nail polish I paid extra for looks horrible. Very disappointed in the mail tech and service after spending $65 dollars.

Gave this place two attempts, and this place is horrible! Went with friends yesterday and had an appointment. Specifically said when I called we wanted to stay together…. Didn’t happen! Our appointment was started WAY late and by the time they started our pedicures the water was cold. Never asked what style of pedicures we wanted until I spoke up and that made the women doing one of my friends services mad and frustrated. Our manicures were basically cold water, cutting the nails and painting! I spoke up twice about a toe nail not being cut and was ignored by my lady. During my manicure she and the male were having a heated discussion that made me uncomfortable and just wanting to leave. Don’t have all the colors they say they offer. We were not the only people told to pick different colors. When we sat and waiting for our last friend to finish hers we all found spots on our nails unpainted. Then today I found two of my nails cracked and peeling up both have broken off now. Nothing will ever make us come back here. This was suppose to have been a nice fun relaxing girls day after an unexpected death but turned into a disappointment.

I have been going to this nail salon for over 4 years and up until recently, they no longer take top of gel off before soaking. They now soak nails for maybe 5 minutes and grind all gel off. I was there today and it was an ordeal when I asked to take top coat off before soaking. All they want to do is grind the gel off making nails paper thin. Why is there a change? They use to take the time before and now are rude when I ask for the same experience as before. I am the paying customer and care about the integrity of my natural nail underneath the gel. Seems to me all they care about is money and get people in and out. Not focusing on quality of work and customer service. Lost a loyal customer. Do better!

The lady rushed. I paid for the 47$ pedicure and it was not worth the money. I had her remove the nail polish because it was messy and looked like my child did it. Will never go back even if it was free!!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. My mother and I went in for pedicures. The nail tech my mother had was extremely rude to her after she had requested to have her nails cut shorter. The nail tech insisted that my mother needed to have long nails, which is not at all what she was comfortable with. The other nail tech that I had never talked to me during my pedicure. At the very end she asked what color I would like. Once I selected my choice, she turned to the other nail tech and started laughing. Because of how embarrassed I felt, I decided to go with clear polish instead. The nail tech was clearly mad that I chose to not use a color and refused to talk to me again after that. The entire experience was unprofessional, embarrassing and frustrating. I would never recommend this nail salon to anyone.

the paint is spotty and the shapes are uneven which is probably because nail tech was on her phone while filing my nails. not impressed. the only reason i’m giving two stars instead of one is because there was a VERY wide range of colors which some salons don’t have so they’ve got that going for them ig
