Had a great experience overall. I was made at home when I was offered a drink, I felt relaxed in this new environment as it was my first time at this shop. Welcoming staff, great barber, Joel Damacela, definitely recommend and definitely will be returning.

I got a haircut from Joel. A new barber that has just started cutting hair. It’s not the first time I got a haircut from him, but the last time I got my haircut, it was one of the best I’ve got, definitely up there in the conversation. Not only was it a regular haircut but the occasion is what made everything better. The next day I had senior pictures, and when I took those pictures I think it’s safe to say that my pictures were fantastic. The haircut is exactly what I needed. Joel is an amazing barber that can you right for any occasion, no matter the age, he can get you right. Personally I’m booking with him all the time. I’m telling you right now, he’s going to make you look twice and wonder “damn he really did do right”. Book with Joel, asap.

Great salon/barber to get your haircut. The facility is clean, the staff are professional, and the haircuts are the best. I was with my former barber for 12 years and after 1 hair cut I made the switch to Lifestyle. We also bring our two children ( 4 and 5) to lifestyle for their haircuts. They are awesome with kids and do an amazing job. I can’t recommend Lifestyle enough.

I get haircuts from Joe Mendoza at least once a month and he always does an amazing job with cutting my hair and keeping it sharp and pristine. When I first was going to Joe and told him the cut I wanted he notified me that I would have to grow out my hair in a certain way so I could obtain the shape that I wanted (No one has ever advised me that my hair would be a project, which was really cool!). It took a couple months of consistently growing out my hair and him cutting where we got the final look and it looked amazing, better than the other barbers I've been going to in the past who didn't really know how to cut my hair. The staff is always accommodating and friendly and all of the employees there help each other out which is not something you see everyday. They are all artisans trying to hone their craft and teaching newcomers. Overall highly recommend Joe for a haircut he is attentative and a takes his time to make sure your cut slays.

I got a haircut by Aubrey and I was blown away. I had gotten a cut and blowout, and I loved it so much! I couldn't stop taking pictures and showed it off to my family. I have curly hair and it can be a lot sometimes, it was no problem for Aubrey, they took amazing care of my hair. I even had another appointment where they styled my hair naturally and my curls have never looked so amazing, they were so individual and no frizz, I got so many compliments. I recommended my family to go to Aubrey, and my little sister got highlights along with a cut from them. Her hair was so iconic, my older sister and mom are also itching to book an appointment. Def ask for Aubrey they are the best!

Amazing barbershop, Kristian has been cutting my hair for years, every time, every different haircut, I leave feeling fresh and confident, all of the other barbers are just as amazing, everyone is a perfectionist at what they do and it shows. If you’re in the Scotch Plains area, I would highly recommend this studio.

My wife made an appointment for my son and I back at the beginning of the summer, and we both had such great experiences that we keep coming back. Kirk was so wonderful to my son and did a phenomenal job on both our cuts. Kirk is officially my regular barber now, hands down. If you’re looking for a place where the haircuts are great, the employees are great and the vibe is immaculate, you should come here.

Recently started going here and the experience is amazing. Kristian is skillful and personable. I’m very picky with how my haircuts look but Kristian has delivered time and time again . The shop is clean and everyone is friendly. Definitely give them a try.

Went to get my haircut here for the first time and it was awesome! Aubrey was my stylist and they were very friendly, attentive, and respectful. They knew exactly what I was talking about when I told them I wanted a mixie and were able to take their time making sure it was what I wanted. The overall atmosphere was very chill and everyone was nice Also as someone who doesn’t like making phone calls, it was very convenient to be able to book online!

This place deserves 5 stars for many reasons! First, Aubrey, my stylist, was awesome. I wanted something a little more edgy and they did not disappoint. They were very professional, sweet and did an amazing job. The studio itself is open, bright and welcoming with a cool vibe. I also admire how involved they are in the community. They host cut-a-thons to support various organizations. I brought my daughter and boyfriend to their last event and we all loved it!

Moved to town a few months ago and a friend recommended I come here for a haircut from Joseph. The shop is clean and well kept and everyone is super friendly. Most importantly, Joseph is collaborative on how I like my haircut and does an awesome job with the cut. Couldn’t recommend any more highly!

A great barber shop/Salon!! 100% would recommend this shop to people I get my haircuts from Kristian. He’s extremely easy to talk to and he is very skilled with clippers OR scissors! I feel Communication is key when it comes to a great haircut and Kristian checks all the boxes when asking for what I want In a haircut. He breaks down what would look good and why my hair is the way it is. I’ve gotten a perm from Kat as well! She’s great and I would go back again for a perm! Very genuine human being and also easy to talk to!

I never had a consistent place to get haircuts, and finally did my research and found lifestyle studio! The shop is super clean, always has great music and plants scattered around the shop that makes the place super chill, Joe is a great barber and a great person to have conversations with that makes this place worth the 40 minute drive!

I was recommended by a friend to see Kat for my hair needs. Lifestyle Studio is a bit of a drive for me (about 40 min) but it is definitely worth it. Kat is kind, attentive, and down to earth. She really listens and does her best to meet all expectations.The atmosphere of Lifestyle Studio is welcoming and super clean. You can’t go wrong with this place.
