I had the best experience! My hairstylist was Hope and she did an amazing job. I asked for a glaze and a long layer haircut with face framing pieces and she exceeded my expectations. I’m so glad I took a chance going to this hair salon because I love my new hair. Staff is very kind and the hair salon was clean. I would 100% go back and recommend Hope.

I had my first ever highlights in August, with a cut to shape my waist-length hair. I loved it. Just gorgeous! Even though I called to get an estimate prior, they couldn't really say how much to expect. I did get sticker shock- $500 including purchase of the products used on my hair. This time I drove from NC to this salon for the touch up on Jan 9 to see the same stylist. We had planned to continue the progression to help embrace the gray, but it was already too white around my face and I couldn't wear my hair up without looking too old, so I didn't want more whitening highlights around my face, just highlights to blend my roots to the rest of my hair. My stylist discussed it with me and suggested to use low lights to tone it down and blend the roots because it wasn't possible to do it the way I thought with the highlights. I had a few foils around my face and my roots in front. Then wash, products and dry. (I don't dry my hair , I scrunch, so it came out straighter than I wanted). I miss some of the top highlights I really liked the pop, but it's ok. I'll know better next time. And my only other concern was that my stylist had long pointed nails that scratched my ear twice, like razors! I didn't say anything to her at the time, but it burned for a few hours after the appointment. I didn't buy any new products and the few low lights with wash, products and dry was $300. Eh.....

My stylist was Laura she was fantastic. The $55 hair trim turned into triple that when I got home and took a look at my receipt. I bought shampoo$21/conditioner $23 and a 1 FLOZ bottle of hair oil for $52! For this little bottle to be $52 is ridiculous! Transparency seems to be a problem here after reading other reviews! When I called to have an overview of my receipt ( because they don't itemize it's just a total amount) the girl was very inconsiderate in not understanding why I was mind blown by this! I feel like i was very distracted at checkout by them making my next appt at the same time, as well as 3 people talking at the front and trying to pay. If i had noticed i would NOT have paid that much for this little bottle that i hope works wonders for that price! She just said all our prices are next to our products, when in fact they aren't. There's a line of products with a paper at the front of the line that has prices listed. There's no reason to charge that much for a hair oil and I would have appreciated her at least offering a refund but she just said ok, after I was clearly frustrated. Aveda will no longer get my business.

Devan cut and colored my hair and cut my daughter's hair. It was spur of the moment and we were so lucky to get her. I am visiting from Georgia and will have to come back to St Pete to get hair done again! You won't be sorry you booked her.

I called for same day appointment and I was given options for haircuts for the day. I chose the afternoon option. I was on my way to the appointment when they called to say there was a scheduling hiccup. 15 mins before the appointment to move me to tomorrow when I wanted a same day. Wasted my day and gas driving here. I was literally pulling in when they called. Horrible service!

I had a horrible experience here. I asked for a partial highlight. I believe her name was katie, was friendly but I left with wet hair because she knew I didn't want to see the result. The "extras" were never done. I was charged over $450 for nothing. 4 hours and my hair looked so bad. I went to another salon and for less than $200, my hair looks amazing. I will never be back.

I would leave zero stars if I could. They have some unprofessional people working at this location. I came in looking to have my hair colored and the stylist continuously told me she couldn't do anything that I showed her and made it seem as though nothing I showed her could ever be achieved when I'm not unreasonable with what I wanted, she just isn't a good stylist and seemed lazy. Ended up walking out and will never be back. Hire better people. Total waste of my time.

Jessica gave me the best haircut of my life and I am 57!! I have also dealt with hair dye allergies for several years with no solution. After talking with Jessica she consulted Amy, who is a chemist, and they came up with a solution. I cannot tell you how happy that made me after years of being gray! Jessica and Amy you rock!!! Thank you so much!!!

My experience with leaf Aveda has been nothing short of wonderful thanks to Sam. He is such a talented stylist and puts a lot of time and love into his cuts. He has absolutely smashed it in both of my recent experiences and I am very happy to have found such a reliable and consistent stylist. Not to mention the amenities and environment offered at Aveda are always warm and welcoming. Thank you all!

Terrible experience...and all I did was walk in sit in a chair and listen to the stylist tell me that what I need done will cost me like $400. Apparently they work by tier. She evidently was a tier 4...so that means double the price. They should have this on the website stating this information before you enter as a first time customer. My question if she is what she said she is...why the heck did she have to go ask the front desk like 5 times how much everything would be? She didn't have a great attitude to begin with. And listening to her, and watching the way she stood there staring just set me off. I had enough and I had to walk out. It wasn't about the money....I get paid very well working for the hospitals , just in case she happens to say crap. There was one beautiful moment....that was when I came in and was greeted by two awesome people at the desk. They were great! I just don't understand how they can tolerate her....and to deal with her everyday?

I had a very nice experience at Leaf Aveda Salon as a first-timer. The salon is lovely inside, and the staff members are very friendly and professional. I've been seeing my regular stylist at another Aveda salon for almost 15 years, but missed my September appointment due to Hurricane Helene. Because he books out three months in advance, I needed some maintenance done on my hair to hold me over to my next appointment four weeks later. I was made to feel extremely welcome, and my stylist Devon did an excellent job taming the mane. She mastered my style with no problem, which really no one other than my regular guy has ever been able to do and leave me walking out happy. She was extremely personable and put me at ease immediately. She will definitely be my back-up go to from now on. If I didn't have such a history with my regular stylist, I'd move my business to her permanently. Recommended, but be aware that it's pricey.

I had an appointment today as a gift for my birthday. (: Devan was great! She made sure I was comfortable, explained very well exactly what she was going to be doing with my hair, and was very attentive and kind. It was a great experience. Definitely will be back!

I’m new to Leaf Aveda so I didn’t really know what to expect. I’ve had difficult encounters in the past so to come in today and have a great experience was so nice. I had a really overgrown undercut and Sam was able to even it out and make it look so much nicer than it did before. I also had a wash and cut which were both amazing! I’m on the quieter side, especially if I’ve never been somewhere before. Sam respected that and I appreciated it. He would also tell me what he was doing before proceeding which I also appreciate because getting my hair done always made me anxious. Overall, it was amazing experience! Thank you again :)

Omg! I traveled from Fort Stewart, GA to come see Anna and get my hair color corrected and fixed! I came expecting mediocre results, after three previous attempts to fix my hair. I had lost hope lol Anna restored my faith in an AMAZING stylist! She spent so much time going through to get exactly what it needed to look flawless! I am so happy with the results, and have my confidence restored again! Thank you Anna and Aveda staff! The salon is so clean and well kept. Every staff member I saw was so attentive to their client and all in the shop were looking so amazing with their results too! I would highly recommend this salon and the staff here!

The person who did my hair was amazing. However this business does not advertise nor talk about prices till after everything is complete. Close to $70 for a simple trim and style is greedy. I do not approciate this businesses lack of transparency.

I’m not the type to leave a review but I am so happy with the haircut Dena gave me last night - I thought about calling the salon just to thank her again, but decided perhaps a review is more appropriate. I could tell Dena knew the proper basics of a good haircut - you know, the foundational framework. I came to her after switching my part, so my hair was already very lopsided, but she evened everything out perfectly. She also listened very intently on the way I wanted my bangs styled and absolutely nailed it. NOT TO MENTION the hand, shoulder and scalp massage she gave me…..honestly the whole experience was 10/10!

I am an all around blonde. I have to get my roots touched up every 4-6 week. When I looked online it said that for a root touch up it is about $65. I walked out paying $240!!!!!!!!!! And that was BEFORE the tip. Never in my entire life have I or anyone else i know ever payed the amount I payed today for a simple root touch up and cut. Where I usually go before this I pay $60 for both a cut and touch up at a higher end salon than Aveda and she does just as good of a job as this. Not to mention I leave every time with soft shiny hair and leaving aveda after paying $240 for something so basic my hair feels dry and disgusting. There was no creams or anything put in my hair like usually salons do and my hair has never felt worse. Obviously it’s the salons choice how they price their services but then DONT PUT A PRICE $175 CHEAPER ON THE WEBSITE AND NOT TELL THE CLIENT THAT ITS GOING TO BE WAY MORE THEN ITS ADVERTISED. I used to live in new york city where the talent there is unreal and i have never ever seen such an absurd price. I have extremely thin hair also so its not like it was a lot of work either. I have also done my own root touch ups at a point that also look the same as this it’s just hard when i can’t see my own head so i don’t mind paying someone to do it but $240?????????? Absolutely not. I’m in highschool and work hard for my money and I just spent more then i even had to my name and had to have my mom front me because Aveda doesn’t wanna put the right prices on their website probably because if they advertised the prices they actually charge they would have no business. Never again

I went in for a color and cut. I showed the guy the photo and he said perfect. I had no worries until he blow dried it. It was a total bob and the guy said that all short hair looks like a bob. I was in shock of how awful it looked. I said the photo shows it a straight across the bottom. So he cut it shorter and shorter, to fix his mistake. Almost in tears I just wanted to leave. I went to the front and the ladies were like oh im sorry it's not what you want but we will give you 20 dollars off. So I paid $180!! Then I went home and you can see how bad the back is!! I went back to say at least make it even. Another stylist adjusted my hair. now I'm stuck with short childish hair with nothing I asked. Photo of what I showed him is attached. They are getting two stars instead of one because the front ladies were really nice and gave me a few samples to make up for the awful hair. But I still paid 180 for this!!
