Want to feel POSH? Go to LaPosh Salon! Conveniently located in Northwood Plaza on the Countryside/Safety Harbor line, this beautifully laid out establishment has a fluttering wave of clientele who have caviar taste, but a reasonable budget. LaPosh does not fail to deliver. On my first interaction with them today, I called with a rather pathetic inquiry: I broke my arm 2 weeks ago and have not been able to wash my hair. I had been sustaining myself on dry shampoo for all that time and it was driving me crazy. The only thing I wanted was a clean head of hair to match the sponge baths that were necessary while my arm healed. For a Luxe Girl, that was a jagged pill to swallow. Enter Julie: She answered the phone and was sweet-as-pie and told me just to come in when I could, and they would be able fit me in to give me a simple wash. When I arrived, they already knew who I was (arm sling) and I had just a short wait in their beautiful boutique waiting area full of gorgeous jewelry and knick-knacks by local artisans. I was paired up with the lovely Brooke, who did an amazing job. Not only did she wash my hair and condition it to death, but also provided an amazing scalp massage. She then went over the top, attempting to dry my shirt (my fault!) and added product to my hair so I didn’t frizz out. I did not request a bow dry, although it was offered. Heather at the front desk was welcoming, sweet, and awesome. I also met another darling colleague named Lisa. It seems like everybody there is truly a family, and their clientele is very loyal for a good reason: they do great work and truly care about their clients! If you are looking for a luxury experience, exceptional products, and enhanced services - at reasonable prices with ample parking - look no further than LaPosh. PS. My girl, Brooke, is also a Master Certified Hair Extension Specialist and you should see her results! It's amazing. Ask for her by name! I recently visited LaPosh, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the staff was so attentive and courteous that I felt like royalty—especially considering I rolled in looking like a bum! 😂 No judgment here, folks! Savanna was my stylist, and she worked her magic on my long, kinky Dominican hair. Seriously, I was left in awe! Not many American salons know how to handle our fabulous locks, but Savanna nailed it! She transformed my hair from kinky to silk . I left the salon feeling like a million bucks and can't wait to return for my next hair adventure. Sarah is great! Seen her a few times now and she’s personable and I always get what I want. Walk out of there feeling brand new! The lobby has always been clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

I scheduled my appointment in person and was quoted $60 for a cut,style and dry. I have long thick hair and made it a point to let my hair down and show them the thickness so I could get an accurate price. Day of appointment, i asked for a trim (literally just 2 inches off) and a dry. The stylist Sara did an average job- i’ve had better blow outs. When the time came to pay, I was charged extra “for the thickness of my hair”. Meanwhile I didn’t see them charge the little old lady with short, thin hair that paid before me any less for having short, thin hair. Truth is I don’t like bait and switch tactics. Be upfront that your prices are variable or don’t provide pricing at all. At the end of the day, they got a little extra money from me ONCE and lost out on hundreds from a returning client. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So happy to have found this amazing salon. Tara Lee did a fabulous job with my Pixie Cut. She even explained how she was cutting my neckline based on how my hair grows back there so that it will lay better. I travel all 48 states for my husband’s work and she is definitely one of my top picks in all of the stylists I have had over the past five years. Thank you for such a great cut!

Stephanie cut my hair; I had a pretty significant transformation ask and she did a great job, and I love my haircut! I got everything I wanted. Plus, it was a v pleasant experience. The salon is beautiful as well.

I have found my forever stylist and salon! The receptionist was so kind and helpful when I walked in to La Posh off the street. I was able to get an appt for a cut and highlights with Daniel at my requested time. My highlights are beautiful and my cut is the best I have had in my life! He is very engaging and personable as well. Later in the week after my cut, I washed my hair and let it air dry. Without any product or styling it went right to the shape it was supposed to! Wow!!!

If you are wanting to go blond, I recommend coming here and requesting Tara! She is absolutely amazing. I have had horrible experiences at salons in my life time and she took my auburn hair from a reddish brown to blond, and has managed to keep the integrity of it. I’ve been working with Tara Lee for 1 year. She gained my confidence on our 1st visit when she began educating me on hair textures and coloring and highlighting. I had many questions mostly about why past things had not worked. She patiently answered then reanswered. Each of her recommendations this past year have been right on and always in my best interest. My hair stylist, whose name escapes me, did a great job. However, their salon's business practices are super shady. I got charged a $20 "styling fee", because my hair stylist used a round brush and a blow dryer on my hair for approximately 30 seconds. That's it. Absolutely ridiculous.

Walked into the salon at 3:00PM to make an appointment for a hair cut and requested someone that was really good, owner/manager recommended Stephen. She said he was not there at the moment but would be back at 4:30 and he could see me then. That was fine so I gave them my name and phone number. They gave me an appointment card and I left to kill an hour before my appointment. Returned at 4:20 and they greeted me by my name. Sat there for about 10 minutes and the owner/manager, not sure which, sat down and said that the woman seated next to me had a 4:30 appointment with Stephen and was ahrad of me but Omar was available to do the job. Talk about a bait and switch. Told her no thanks my appointment was supposed to be with Stephen. She insisted that Omar could do it. No thanks ill go to another salon that values their new customers and honours their appointments. Such a terrible way to attract new clientele. When I am happy the way I’m treated and the stylist does a good job I always tip $50 to $100 as I appreciate honesty and a good job. Terrible terrible way to treat a customer.
