The last 2 experiences have been awful with the outcome of my nails.. this last time I Told the nail tech I did not like the color and she rolled her eyes and was irritated. The nails shapes are uneven with each other and just embarrassing. Please work on Customer service for your nails techs.

Cute nails, but the man doing my nails didn’t do any sort of nail prep before putting the nails on. I don’t think he was very familiar with nail work, but i was still charged full price (70 dollars, 56 after a coupon discount before tip). The design is sloppy, but the build of the nail was fine.

I loved the results but getting them done was rough. I have never gotten my nails done before so I was tense (I didn’t think I was that tense) but my nail stylist thought I was because every time my finger would stiffen she should huff and tell me to relax. I told her I didn’t know where to have my other fingers but I think the language barrier was a hindrance. I told her matte but she did a glossy topcoat and I wasn’t going to say anything. Now that I think about it she works on nails everyday she should know what a matte topcoat is. Is bleeding normal when getting nails done? If so I guess I’m not tough enough. They are very sore this morning. I noticed she didn’t even throw away the dremel head or file or replace the towel when done. Prices are also no where to be found on the sight and someone walks around and determines the price which seems like an easy way to get taken advantage of. My friends told me with the amount of damage on my fingers it shouldn’t have cost $75. I’m sure the other stylists were nice but I’m not going back.

Most of the time, I go to La Vie Spa to get my nails done. Some days, they will be very nice, and other days, they will argue with you and gossip in Madarin about clients. Sometimes, they make me feel like I am a child, and I do not know what bring my to the spa. They do not give people time to respond or think about what they want. In October 2021, I was traveling back to my country, and I went there to get the nail done. See the photo of I ask for Vs what I got. I was pregnant at that time and did not want to argue with Mimi, the owner. I was so sensitive because of my condition, I held my tears until I got to my car, where I just cried like a baby. Recently, I went back there, and the lady who took care of my feet was so mean, disrespectful, and gossiped about me (I understand somewhat Madarin). They do not clean their tools. They live one person and go directly to another one without cleaning up the materials. They have to review everything they do in that salon. From welcoming, asking questions to the service, cleaning, everything must be reviewed. I now go to a new salon. They also speak Madarin but never disrespect or gossip about the client (at least not in front of them). They clean their tools in between every single service. The environment is calm, cool, and very welcoming. So, I am not going back to La Vie Spa.

Disappointed. This was my first time here. I wanted a dip manicure and a pedicure. I had natural long nails but I wanted them a little shorter. She went to cut my nails and she showed me the length and asked if that was where I wanted them cut, before I could even answer her she cut them. Too short. I asked for a design and i didn’t like it so I had her take it off and told her I didn’t want a design. She insisted that I do a flower. Didn’t like it but I just wanted out of there. I went to pay and they messed that up as well and had to do 2 transactions.

EEEK!! I have been going here for the past couple years and they have always done a good job. I went there today however and I am absolutely DISGUSTED. When my nail technician stepped away for a few minutes I saw a mouse scurry across the floor. I saw it for around 30 seconds running around until it went back into hiding. This was the grossest thing I have ever seen at a nail salon and there will be no way I ever go back. I have a video of the mouse but unfortunately I am unable to put it here. If you are looking for a good nail salon, this is NOT the one. Honestly just so so disappointed and disappointed want others to know La Vie Nails is not the place to go.

I Came Here Two weeks ago From Out Of Town Visited My Relative Live Here In Cedar Rapids. I Happened Stop By La Vie Nails. The Owner set-Me up with a Nail Tech her name is Linda & she did My Manicure & Pedicure an Amazing Job with my Request double Coating with Beautiful Polish & She really made my day enjoyment the whole time i was there. That why now i think back & than i decide to give this girl a 5 Stars & a big Thumb -Up. Because she's the best Nail Tech i have ever met Anywhere else with other Nails Salon before i was Visited . I Definitely coming back to La Vie Nails next i back in town visit my relative. This La Vie Nails Deserve to earn My Business . Thank You Linda For Beautiful Nails You have had done for me .
