Rachel did my makeup and my mom’s hair and makeup for my wedding a few days ago. She did an amazing job and I have never felt so beautiful! She gave us exactly what we asked for. Rachel was so great to work with. I would 100% recommend to others.

I have posted about La Rouge before and posting again today! Between 2018 and 2021 I went thru the ringer. I was very sick November of 2018 with something I never had before. Maybe early COVID, I dont know the doctors couldn't figure it out. In 2019 and 2020 I had two in patient stays in the hospital, again very sick with everything from MRSA to kidney problems. All of the events ( and I was in graduate school) took a toll on my hair; it wasn't growing and to me looked like F****ed up babydoll hair. I knew it didn't look right because people stopped complimenting my hair. I normally have lush and shiny curly hair. Kristen Longstreet saved my hair. During the hospital stays I was hooked up to antibiotics for 24 hours along with other IV solutions, not great for the hair. My hair had even thinned in the very front. Today, I can wear my hair in a top bun; it is thick, the front filled in, and it is thicker and shinier than it has ever been. I get special treatments and take a hair vitamin I get thru Kristen Longstreet at La Rouge. If you have hair that needs repair, please go to Kristen. 🙏SHE SAVED MY HAIR!!!

I recently used La Rouge Salon for hair/makeup for my wedding in Santa Barbara. I had the best experience with them from start to finish. Chaney was always very responsive to my questions leading up to the event. Crystal did my hair and nailed my vision perfectly! All my bridesmaids shared how this was the best hair/makeup experience they had ever received at a wedding. Everyone looked natural and gorgeous. I can't recommend La Rouge enough for your next event!

Rachel made me a Hollywood princess. I got married a month ago and people are still messaging me just to tell me how stunning I looked at my wedding. Not only me - my mom and sister too! I only wish I had encouraged all of my friends to also get their hair and makeup done. She was so efficient, finished everyone’s hair and makeup on time, was so friendly, and patient with my loud girlfriends :) And my hair and makeup lasted ALL night. I’m just blown away and wish I could leave 40 more 5 star reviews. Easiest decision I ever made.

I LOVE my new haircut! I am a new customer and during the pandemic I chopped away at my unruly afro on my own and made myself look absolutely ridiculous. I am relatively new to the area and I have gone to a few places seeking out a haircut but to no avail. Nobody wants to cut afro hair in my area or if I do get a yes its a very dubious yes. Kind of like I am a huge bother to even dare ask. But not Rachel! She was so kind and genuinely curious about my hair. She said it was like putting a puzzle together and made her tap into her creative side. LOVE that! Hands down the best hair cut I have ever gotten. Its so cute!!

Nice salon with awesome Kristin as my hair stylist, she's an expert with colors and been seeing her for about 3 or so years now.. in spite of trying other hair stylist, I still go back to her. She's very nice, warm and accommodating.. always offers me water or a glass of wine! I'd highly recommend her.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Rachel and her team of stylists!!! All my bridesmaids loved how their hair and/or makeup came out. My matron of honor said this was the first time she did not have to fix her makeup after getting it professionally done! La Rouge was on time and prepared. Everyone was ready on time because La Rouge were efficient. All the girls felt pampered when they were in the chair. I also booked La Rouge for my bridal hair and makeup. I highly recommend anyone considering booking bridal services to do the trial!!! I worked with Rachel and during the trial we had the time to discuss my look for day of and plan what to expect. I know the cost might seem extra but we were really able to perfect the day of look. Rachel is an amazing owner and stylist! I would recommend her and her team to all friends and family. She is not only committed to providing an amazing experience with her clients, but she also builds community among women entrepreneurs in the industry.
