It is so hard to find a great veteran hair stylist in Waterloo and Kristi nailed it. She did the best work styling my hair to shape my face. She has a great personality and is so easy to talk to. Can’t wait for another cut!

I went to see Kristi for a cut and style. I wasn't even all the way down the steps and on the sidewalk, and I had someone stop me and compliment me on my hair. I have thick wavy hair and it doesn't always cooperate. Kristi is a pro and made my hair shiny and silky smooth. I was very impressed for my first time in, and will definitely be back! I’m pretty new at this salon. Kristi Cates was recommended to me by a friend, so I decided to give her a try. I think my friend knew I needed help with my hair! 😉 Kristi is the best! She listens to what I want and offers suggestions as to how to achieve the correct color and cut for me. She knows color! Also, while I was on vacation over the winter, Kristi gave me my color formula so I could have my hair done in FL. I did and it turned out perfectly! I highly recommend Kristi Cates!

Not only is Kristi is an artist when it comes to color & hi-lights, she does an amazing job with hair styles. I trust her so much, that she did my hair for my wedding without doing a trial run. I told her what I wanted and she made it happen. She's really is the best!

Kristi’s knowledge & expertise is evident in the color and highlights in my dark hair to cutting precise face framing layers that suit my face well. I had a great first experience with Kristi! I needed a color correction after an experience with streaky, brassy highlights from a previous stylist. Kristi made it all much better! She was quick to respond to my text about setting up an appointment and really thorough with her questions about my expectations. She put me at ease from the very beginning just by listening and affirming that my color expectations were reasonable. She is friendly, warm and I definitely plan on going back to her in the future!

Wow! Kristy is very special to me! Besides the fact of her saving my hair from a bad situation right before my granddaughters wedding, she pulled her magic and done a wonderful job coloring highlighting and cut. She is truly an expert in her field.
