All I can say is that Kari is amazing! I had a highlight/lowlight treatment from another stylist that went terribly wrong (see before and after pictures below). Kari made time to get me in right away and was able to not only fix the problem, but she made my hair look better than it has in a long time. She took time to listen and discuss options and was kind and professional. I highly recommend her services. Thank you, Kari!

Kari colored my hair earlier this month and did a great job! I asked for “icy blonde” and it’s very close to what I wanted. I’ve been doing box dyes for years and I am very impressed with health of my hair now. She is very careful not to keep product on your hair too long which leads to damage. Thanks again Kari!😘

Kari, the owner of Kolurz is amazing. She is an artist with hair color! Always professional and kind, she takes time to listen and gives an honest, expert opinion. Her hair studio is beautiful and her product line is top quality. I found her when I lived in Folsom a few years back and now I drive several hours to have Kari color my blond hair. She is worth it!!

I found Kari while doing a google search for a hair stylist to fix the mess of a hairstyle from my previous stylist. I read her reviews and they said everything I was looking for. I took a chance and called her and to my surprise she answered! She asked me lots of questions and was able to fit me in that week. I loved her charming studio and matching personality, I felt like I was in good hands. She fixed my tri-colored mess and gave me a color and cut that was so beautiful and natural looking! I’m so happy now that I can style my hair without wanting to cry!

Kari has been doing my hair for many years. The products she uses makes my hair look really healthy, and I’ve got difficult thin fine hair -she’s excellent at coloring! I’ve had other people fry my hair, I went through five stylists before I found her. Her studio is beautiful and convenient. If you’re looking for a new stylist This is the place – You won’t be disappointed.

Kari is seriously a hair color genius!! I travel 4 hours round trip every other month to see her. I found her a little over a year ago when I was searching for a color specialist to blend, not cover, my grays. My friends and family though I was crazy driving such a long distance 'just for my hair' but after using her services several times now I wouldn't trust anyone else with my locks.

Kari, the owner, is so good at what she does. She really takes the time to explain things and she makes an effort to provide you with the best results possible. I am so delighted to have found her and I’m so happy with my cut and color. I highly recommend her.

Kari is a wonderful hair stylist! She really knows what she’s doing and is really good with blonde hair. It can be hard to find people that are good with blonde so I highly recommend her! She is super sweet and fun, I really enjoyed my experience. 💗

I am new to this area and found Kari' salon thru the recommendations of neighbors. I most want a perfect and stylish haircut, and then I am your customer for life. After a couple of cuts, this year, I have found Kari's skills and instincts for trimming my hair spot on; and I also can't say enough about the peaceful experience and picturesque location of her charming studio...perhaps, zen like would be appropriate.

I’ve been going to Kolurz Hair Studio since it’s inception. Kari is not only professional and courteous, but she also does great work. She lets me know what will and will not work my hair and also my lifestyle. She has a unique product line that is pharaben free—which is an important feature for me as I try to use product with the least amount of irritants and harmful cancer causing chemicals as possible. Two years ago I moved out of state, but I still go to Kari for my hair cuts/styles/needs. Heads up to prospective new customers, Kari is in such high demand you should call days ahead for an appointment! (This review is being posted under my husband’s name as it’s his Google account. This is his wife’s honest and unbiased review of Kolurz Hair Studios and Kari).

Kari has been doing my hair for years and I love, love her work. She ensures her skills and hair styling trends are up to date by attending training a couple of times a year which is obvious by the results she provides and the number of compliments I get on my hair for someone over 50. I would personally recommend Kari, and have, to anyone.

I have been going to Kari for about three years and my hair has never looked better. I started off as a brunette and changed to a blonde under Kari's expert guidance. There is not a month that goes by without someone telling me how great my hair looks. This is partly because of her expert color and cut and partly because of her wonderful Krave It products. I can not live without the keratin therapy and the shine spray. I am client for life.

I was looking for a wash and wear haircut and "update" my color. Kari greatly exceeded my expectations. I've never been to a hair saloon and got EXACTLY what I wanted, until now that is. I absolutely love my cut and color. Kari has a very artistic eye and will make recommendations, but not "push" one thing or another. I'm glad I listened to her suggestion about the color (it's a scary thing for an analyst like me). I've received many compliments on it already. This is my new PERMANENT stylist. AWESOME!!!

Kolourz Hair Studio is absolutely amazing. The Studio is so very pretty, stylish and private. Kari is a joy to be with and looks after her clientle with the utmost importance of what they hope to achieve and she definitely makes their visions come true. If you want perfection, customer appreciation, privacy and a great time in a beautiful Studio, Kolourz is the place. Kari took my ratty hair and changed it to beautiful and I could not be more pleased.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! After visiting many high-end salons in Folsom thru-out the years- I have to say Kari is the best. I receive regular bleach highlights which causes my hair to be very dry and damaged, but after leaving Kolurz- my hair felt very hydrated, my hair color looked more vibrant, a lot silkier and less brittle. I finally found my hair stylist!
