Every visit I have had here (and there have been many) has been a 5☆ experience. The energy here creates a great atmosphere, the services always hit the mark and I always walk out feeling refreshed and super satisfied. Tara is my stylist and she kills it on my hair glam EVERY TIME. If you're thinking about booking an appointment here, do yourself a favor and make it.

I've been going to KINshoppe Salon for the past 4 years, and it's hands down the best hair salon I've ever been to. The salon is always clean and well-maintained, theres lots of beautiful green plants throughout, cool modern lighting, I love the layout of each station, it has an open concept, But what really sets this salon apart is the incredible talent of their stylists. Tara, one of the owners, is my go-to stylist, and she always goes above and beyond to make me feel special. The day of my appointments, she sends out an intake form, where she checks in on what atmosphere I would prefer for todays hair session, what drink I would like to enjoy, any add on services such as hair masks, moisture treatments, what essential oil I would prefer to indulge in…She takes the time to listen to my hair concerns and offers expert advice on how to achieve my desired look. Her attention to detail and precision is unmatched, and I always leave feeling like a million bucks! She’s the best! Whether you're looking for a simple trim or a complete hair transformation, I highly recommend KINshoppe Salon. Tara and the rest of the team will make you feel like family and ensure you leave feeling confident and beautiful.

I have been going to Khandyce Elkins at the Kinshoppe in Ventura since 2019. She has transformed my dark brown hair into the most beautiful blonde mixture that grows out naturally and seamlessly. I constantly get asked if this is my "real" color because she puts so much work into making it look natural. Khandyce creates a safe and relaxing environment that makes me look forward to each visit.

Worst experience ever. Khandyce is very bad in communication and will keep you hanging regarding a appointment. Explained any date she had open was okay with me and said she had next week then text no openings for the next few weeks?? Must not need the business.

Got a haircut from Khandyce and I love it! She was great at listening to my wants/needs, and recommending a style that would work with my fine, low-maintenance hair. Reasonable prices as well. I'll definitely be going back!

Sam Murillo did my hair today and it turned out FABULOUS ! It was my first time attending this salon and getting my hair done by Sam. She really made sure to accomplish exactly what I wanted. We had the best chats and most importantly she was honest but so supportive of my ideas and bringing them to life ! I felt so at home in this salon because of her. I left with confidence and knew that this was the person I trusted with my whole head of hair. I am so in love with my new look and my new hairstylist ! If you are looking for someone I HIGHLY suggest Sam and this salon to get your hair done ! :) you will feel at home and I promise you’ll fall in love with her the way I did ! Thank you Sam ! ❤️

Brandi S. is fantastic with color!! I get a lot of compliments on my hair. The prices are reasonable and Brandi is very accommodating with appointments.I also really appreciate that I am not held hostage for hours like some salons. It usually takes about 90 minutes which is not excessive. I highly recommend Brandi especially for color!

I finally found a hairdresser who knows curls! Jordan Perez is so sweet but more importantly she understands how to cut curly hair. It may not sound like a big deal to most, but to those of us who have curly hair, that's everything!

Terrible customer service I took my daughter there and they made her feel awful it was an absolutely terrible experience when I went to talk to them about it they were rude and have no ability to understand how they made my daughter feel do not recommend

Love Roxy and her team at the salon. I’ve had my hair done (cut and color) and Roxy really has a talent for understanding what you want and having fun with color. I had deep red on my dark brown Asian hair and it turned out super nice - I loved it! Wish I could still use their services but I moved 2 states away... boo!

I have prescheduled appointments, up to 6 mos in advance with Tara, because I love the care and the advice she gives me. When she shampoos my hair she does a scalp massage to die for. Don't know how else to describe it. Both my daughters come to Tara, so they know what I mean. I suggest everyone should get the "royal treatment" as well as cut, trim or color. Thank you again Tara.
