I wish I had found Kara years ago! The experience with her was fantastic. Before we did anything, she took the time to talk with me about what I was hoping for. I was looking for a good pixie cut and she 100% delivered. She even took time after the cut to demonstrate different options for how I can style my hair. I left feeling gorgeous, confident, and like the very best version of myself. I cannot recommend Kara highly enough!

I was super nervous coming into the salon because I haven’t had a professional haircut in 3 years, last time I got one from a different place I really wasn’t happy with the results. This was my very first time coming here and I’m happy to say I will 100% be coming back, I was so comfortable in the space and Kara made sure I walked out with a hairstyle that I really loved. My hair feels much lighter, healthier and overall just better now. I walked out with so much confidence in my hair. Again, I will definitely be coming back in the future. Kara is someone you can absolutely trust to do your hair properly! It’s also very affordable, I have shoulder length wavy hair and I got a wash, cut and blow dry for $50, I highly suggest coming here!

I had a fantastic experience with Kara over at Alchemy Hair! I'm the constant victim of a bad haircut, so I have a little bit of "haircut PTSD" at this point and was very nervous about getting another bad cut. Kara took the time to do a full consultation with me before taking out any tools to ensure my comfort and that we were on the same page. I really appreciated the positive attitude and professional experience. She gave me a great haircut, and I'll definitely be going back!

Today was my first time seeing Kara and it was a great experience! She took the time before we started to talk to me about my hair and ask questions about what I wanted. After she washed my hair, we spoke again and she explained what her thoughts were and what she planned to do and asked if I was okay with her ideas. My hair turned out beautiful- just what I wanted! Kara was just lovely to chat with! I will definitely be a returning client!

OMG what a great experience! I have been searching for someone who understands my fine, low-porosity 2c hair and Kara is it. She did a thorough consult, listened to what I want, and gave me a cut that really lets my waves and curls come out without requiring a ton of styling. Couldn’t be happier with the service I received and have already referred two people to her. Highly recommend!

I have always had a love/hate(more hate) relationship with my hair and Kara is probably the first person to truly understand how to cut my hair(curly, unruly mess). I trust her completely which is not something I have ever felt for another hairstylist. Not only great at what she does but an even better person! Our conversations are always great, fun, and REAL. I have been getting my haircut by Kara for almost a decade at this point. I have followed her , now to her third location , and I couldn’t be happier. She is extremely meticulous with her work. Kara is a person who cares just as much about what’s on someone’s mind, as she does for what’s literally on top of their mind (by that I mean hair). I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with cutting my hair. :)

After having my hair done by Kara, I really don’t want to go anyone else! Not only does she give me a great haircut or color each time, she talks with me beforehand to make sure she knows exactly what I want, and helps me talk through styles if I haven’t decided yet. She is great at what she does and truly cares. It’s always a great experience from start to finish, I highly recommend!

Kara is mine and my partners go to girl for anything hair related- we’ve been going to her regularly for 2 years and I have NEVER left her salon unsatisfied. It is obvious Kara loves and is passionate about every head of hair she touches. I myself, talk until I’m blue in the face and Kara keeps up without hesitation (a multitasking queen), whereas my partner enjoys the relaxation and pampering in silence and Kara is completely fine with that as well. Two completely different experiences and we could not be more thankful everyone we leave her salon!! I could not recommend her enough! 5 stars does not give her justice!!!!

My past experiences with hairdressers were not always good. Since moving to the HV 8+ years ago I've tried 5 with no success. Enter Kara. From my 1st appointment she's been on target. Told me what my hair needed based on how it felt, recommended a product that is outstanding. 40 years of getting my haircut & not one stylist ever told me I had a cowlick let alone 3, but Kara did. You know how those first few days after a haircut is a little tricky? Not her cut. And the long-term grow-in is excellent. I'd recommend & have recommended Kara without question. Also, an incredibly warm & welcoming person!

Kara is absolutely the best, most knowledgeable, kindest, smartest, most wonderful stylist but also just an incredibly warm, kind and enjoyable person to spend time with. This was by far the best haircutting experience I've ever had! I'm a 58 year old transgender woman with male pattern baldness and a receding hairline so Kara had lots of challenges with me. She advised me on hair loss, wigs, extensions, makeup and we had this incredible conversation about relationships and gender and more. Kara is truly exceptional!

Kara is amazing. I've been getting my hair cut by her for probably 8 years. Unbelievable with her fades, and she will keep you in the chair until it is perfect. I've had days where I've fallen asleep in the chair, and others spent joking and laughing the entire time. My two kids get their hair cut by her also. Her patience with them is amazing and it's been great watching my kids who were once super sensitive with their haircuts grow and become incredibly trusting of Kara. Don't think twice about getting cut by her.

Kara gives me the best high and tight haircuts That I’ve ever gotten, I say haircuts because she maintains it for me twice a month. I’m always satisfied 100 percent with a sharp Clean cut look blended perfectly with my light grade beard. After she gave my daughter awesome haircut and color I started coming to her myself and driving 45 minutes to her is so worth it She is so educated and always improving herself Found solution how to color my hairs after henna and I’m so excited!!!!
