Marra and her team are talented and skilled stylists that are personable and easy going. My hair always looks amazing when I leave, and her attention detail to see the little things that somehow make the style uneven or imperfect is awesome. I always leave with immaculate hair. After trying at least 4 other hair stylists my first few years in St Pete, I found Mara about 6 years ago. I have followed her from her chair at a large Aveda salon to now her second location as a private owner. She is a master stylist with amazing talent and knowledge in cuts and color! I loved Aveda products before, but have completely converted to the Davines line she has available—my hair is the healthiest it’s been in years. Follow her on Instagram for proof of her ability. I have been going to Marissa since 2011!! She is my favorite hairstylist on this planet for any color request I’ve ever had! I’ve lived in different cities & I will take trips to come back to get my hair done by Marissa. She originally was giving me incredible blonde colors for about 10 years! I loved all the shades she did :) 10/10 Then we switched it up & went dark!!! She chose an incredible shade to start me off with brunette for the transition & it’s been magic since then. She also did copper for me & I was the most beautiful cowboy copper princess!!

I’ve been coming to see Mara for almost 15 years! I’ve gotten highlights and toners, and been everything from light blonde to deep copper over the years. She’s been with me since my emo bang phase and is one of the only people I trust to cut my hair. It’s always a fun and relaxing time.

I’ve been seeing Randi at Kalon since moving to St. Pete a couple years ago. I take my brows very seriously and seeked out the best waxer in town! Randi came highly recommended and she definitely delivers. My appointments with her are always enjoyable and stress free - I never have to worry about my brows when I’m with her 💜 And the salon is always beautiful, relaxing and filled with lovely, friendly staff!

Marisa is amazing! She has done my hair for decades! She is the best! I’m currently having chemo and am losing my hair. Marissa cut and styled my wig! It looks fantastic! I can’t wait to wear it!

First of all, the vibe at Kalon is laid back and so relaxing, and it is perfectly decorated. Just so cute! Loved having my hair dyed by Cassilly, a true professional and so super sweet; she had me laughing and smiling the whole time. My hair turned out great, and I will definitely be back! I love love love getting my hair done by Marissa! I wish I could leave her salon a review everytime I go to her. She's been doing my hair for the past seven years and I never leave her chair disappointed. Getting my hair done is my "me time" and I look forward to my appointments with her.

I’ve been to Mara for my hair probably close to 6 times a year for 12 plus years. She’s fantastic. Since she’s been the owner of her own salon her dedication to her own clients is still 100%. Even while taking on the responsibilities as an owner and employer. If you’re looking for a new place to get your hair done I highly recommend Kalon!!

Mara does a great job on my hair. She always listens to exactly what I want, and shares the price before she starts coloring so I am not surprised when it comes time to pay, which i really appreciate. She is always so sweet and pleasant, and funny, while working on my hair and finishes my hair in a reasonable amount of time, considering my hair is very long. Overall I am always pleased with my hair and hope I can continue to see her for years to come. I have never had a better color and cut than the one I received from Mara.

Once you come here once you’ll never want to go to another salon…. Marissa takes such good care of my hair and helped me learn how to protect my blonde. The color is always perfect, and it’s super easy to rebook with her. The reason however that I choose this salon over any other one in the St Pete area is because Marissa truly cares about her clients. She’s super easy to talk to and always cares about what I have to say. This salon also uses sustainable products which means soo much to me!

Went to Kalon for a haircut cause I heard from a friend they were the best. I am really picky about my hair and did not disappoint. Marissa is amazing she is welcoming and friendly makes you feel like family. Definitely would recommend and will be back myself.
