Joseph delivered across the board. He was responsive before my daughter's first appointment to get her locs colored . He made sure to get the colors right since she wanted a specific blonde/copper blend. Her hair stayed healthy and the color is gorgeous!

I had an AMAZING experience seeing Joseph! He did custom color tape in extensions (blue and pink) a silk press and a trim. Joseph really did a great job with my silk press! I will be a life long client now simply because he really cares about the integrity of your hair and will do everything he can to keep it as healthy as he can. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

This was my first time getting a service with JT, and I will be back. I got a wash and steam treatment, then a blow dry and pin straight silk press. He started on time, and I was done within 2 hours. JT was professional and kind. I love my hair. The picture was taken after I added clip ins immediately after my service. The blend was perfect and lasted all day despite humidity.

Absolute miracle worker! It had been much too long when I reached out to Joseph & he was able to get me in right away due to a cancellation. I live close by, so the proximity was perfect! I'm not the pickiest about my hair, and told him "just make me look presentable) and he did SO much more than that. 10/10 on experience, color skills, and style. It was more than I could have asked for. If you're considering switching stylists, I can't recommend Joseph enough!

I had the pleasure of meeting Joseph the other day and we instantly hit it off! He welcomed me into his salon with open arms and an open mind, determined to help me color correct and tackle the mess my hair had become! Not only does my hair feel lighter, brighter, and healthier, I feel more at ease than I did when I walked in! Joseph is absolutely wonderful and he does everything in his power to make sure you leave feeling and looking as amazing as he is. He’s so talented with vivids, and his vision and technique leaves nothing to be desired. I will DEFINITELY be visiting Joseph again soon for more miracles! He is a master at his craft and continues to pour himself into education to maintain his knowledge and expertise. I’ve also had the honors of having him do my hair through these years. Joseph is one of best stylist I’ve been to. He is very professional, kind and best of all he has great communication skills. So many stylist don’t actually listen and give you what you want. Joseph listens and goes above and beyond. He has kept the integrity of my hair intact. I have even been able to grow my hair out with highlights. I totally see the value in his pricing because other stylists have literally burnt my hair off.

You absolutely need to go to JTColours! He is an expert stylist and colorist and hands down, the absolute best in the Columbia area. We discussed my inspo photos, he evaluated my hair, made some expert suggestions and got me super close to the inspo style. He also came up with a game plan for how to manage my hair growing out from a short pixie cut. He takes his time and makes sure your hair isn't destroyed or fried and takes so much pride in his work. I asked for a short pixie with a pop of pastel pink and he delivered! I will 10000000% be coming back and I'm bringing my children to him for hair cuts too. I met JT because a client of mine recommended me to him! I’m a Licensed Nail Nail tech! I’m very picky of who my Beauty stylist are, I met JT at my nail table we started talking about our industry and he really gained my trust he was educating me on the process to achieve my hair goals! I saw all of the amazing photos and reviews that Joseph had so I decided to book an appointment with him. To say the least I was not disappointed!! He was so kind. He listened to me, and we came up with a plan to get me to the color I want. Joseph made me laugh a lot which was an added bonus. I felt so comfortable and safe in his chair. It's been a few years since I was serviced. I will start off by saying Joseph was very kind and professional, I appreciated him taking the time to fix my damaged hair (bleached ends bringing my full hair back to brown) and walk me through the process. Where my upset lies is in pricing and longevity. In the years since the appointment, I have discussed how much I was charged with many people (including other hair professionals) and they were all astounded..$700+ for a roughly 6 hour session. That didn't factor in the deposit that was taken beforehand. I understood it took a few steps (which involved a lot of waiting, during which time I was charged hourly while he worked on someone elses hair). My hair turned out very nice, but the dye didn't last more than a few months before my previously bleached ends starting showing. In the time since, I have received similar hair treatments and have been charged a quarter of the price and similar quality. I understand in charging an hourly rate, and I understand fair pricing for artistry. But I don't understand charging so much for something that had much less longevity than expected.

Joseph is an amazing colorist and talented stylist. He was able to give me a peek a boo “chocolate” color for my locs. I loved it so much and received so many compliments. I will be returning for a touch up when it’s time. Plus he is hilarious and will keep you laughing during the entire appointment.

This is by far the best color and cut I have received in my life! If you were looking for a Baltimore hairstylist or Baltimore colorist, Joseph, is the person for you! My hair was an absolute disaster before coming to him, and he revived it, and then some! He is so knowledgeable and professional, and really knows what he is doing. The attention to detail in the care put into the appointment are evident. I’m truly so happy with the results and how everything turned out. I will forever be going back to Joseph! an absolute must, if you’re considering any type of color work in the Baltimore area.
