Excellent 30 minutes of pleasure and pain. The highly skilled Lily found all the tight and difficult spots and ironed many of them out in the short time available. About 1 h after leaving I felt a lot of stiffness and discomfort start to fade away. Thank you Lily. No real negatives but would be better if the walls went up to the ceiling - this would give better privacy and reduce the (very occasional) chat between masseuses in different booths. Definitely will be back.

I really wanted to post a positive review about this place, but I honestly just cannot. I've had massages both by Nina and Milly (Milly is very highly regarded in the reviews). I was very disappointed by both. Neither lady provided any kind of a therapeutically satisfying massage and I left very disappointed and wished I had not spent my good money and driven over an hour round-trip to receive such a poor service. I would not recommend this place and have told a multitude of my friends to not patronize this very poorly run establishment.

I cannot say enough great stuff about this massage spot! Best massage ever for me. FAIRLY massaged my stress away from the 90's🤣🤣🤣 we were visiting from SC and my husband and I went 2x in the month of May. My husband sees Lily!

Massage was good, but there were children outside screaming the entire time, which made it quite hard to relax. Not the best location for this type of service with a children's play area directly outside! But the massage was nice, and reasonably priced.

Ive been here 4 times but this last time the massage lady walked on my back and legs hurt my left leg and ribcage i had to tell her twice to stop and just do a normal massage after it was done they asked to be tipped depending on the length and kind of massage you get so i gave 25 and still they weren't happy , it took a few days to recover from getting hurt from the massage. To bad coco isn't there anymore she was the best. The new staff are terrible. Im moving on somewhere else.

I have gone several times to Joy Massage and have had a great experience each time. I just go for the massages because I really need it but I have done their facial care for myself and my son and really enjoyed it. I definitely need to remember to do another one soon. Everyone is always so nice. I’ve been able to get an appt on the same day of calling/texting. I definitely recommend going there.

Massage Person started watching a program on their phone while doing my massage. It completely ruined my experience. I will NOT return again. This was my 1st and Last time at this establishment!

My experience was a mixed bag of feelings. I've never walked away from a massage feeling sore. My shoulders and back felt ss if I'd had a work out. I was so sore that I had to take ibuprofen for 2 days. I spent much of the first 30 minutes tensed up to the point where I was trying to use my meditation breathing. I did speak up when it was painful, but then they overcorrected and went too light, so i spoke up again and then it was intense again. So it was a bit if a yo-yo and not a relaxing experience. When asked which area to focus on, I said my feet. Now, that was the best part but didn't last long. Every other massage I've had over a 30 yr time span included scented essential oil diffusers, a choice of scented oil or lotion during the massage, and meditative music. This was not the case at Joy Massage. Another odd part was at the end, I was wiped down with a warm towel. This was strange because one of the benefits of a massage is leaving with moisturized skin, but being wiped down defeated that part. It was also uncomfortable hearing what was happening with people in other rooms, which you can't avoid because the walls and doors don't reach the ceiling so it's open at the top of the room. I don't even know the name of the person who did my massage because they never introduced themselves, but I can say they were a nice person.

Lily is an extraordinarily talented and a truly gifted massage therapist. She is knowledgeable in a variety of techniques and mixes them with different levels of pressure to provide a wonderful experience, eliminating all of the tension in your body. The location is easy to get to with clean and comfortable rooms, creating a relaxing environment with a mellow vibe. This place is definitely a hidden gem. I highly recommend this location and especially Lily to anyone in need of a good massage.

My first choice of getting massage is at Joy Massage Spa, I have been going there for the last 5 to 6 years and Lily is a thorough professional and I feel relieved from aches and pains. Highly recommend this place.

Positives: The MT was professional, has a very nice touch/energy, and provided good pressure. I gave the standard $20 tip for the 60 minute massage. Negatives: (1) The room was very cold. * Suggestion: use a space heater. (2) There was a loud and extended (15 minutes or more) conversation in Chinese between a man (the owner? a customer?) and a woman (the woman who was at the front desk?). I wasn't able to relax because of this unnecessary noise. *Suggestion: be mindful that customers are trying to relax and go somewhere else to talk. (3) There was no calming music. * Suggestion: play calming music. (4) The MT did not manage her time well, so that once I flipped over, there was no time to do the front of my legs. However, when I pay for a 60 minute massage, I expect the MT to do a full body massage. * Suggestion: spend less time doing repetitive effleurage strokes on the back--again and again--and move one to the rest of the body. (5) Finally (and this relates to No. 4 above), since the MT ran out of time, she asked if I wanted to go for 90 minutes. Since the massage was incomplete, I at first said 'yes.' But then when she proceeded to sit behind my head and start to massage my neck, I felt she was just going to waste time for the next 30 minutes (i.e., run out the clock). So I told her I changed my mind and would stick with the 60 minutes. * Suggestion: Provide the entire service that you are being paid to do and don't waste time in order to pressure the client in paying for an additional 30 minutes because you have not managed your time. And this final point (wasting time and not being complete in order to upsell) is the reason I won't visit this place again. I just don't feel they are honest, because the first time I came here (six months or so ago), I felt pressured into getting a four-hand massage. I declined. But since I declined, there was only one MT there, and she had to leave when a customer came in. I then realized that was their way of having two staff at the spa: have me pay for two MTs, while one could answer the door when someone came in. Once again, I felt this was dishonest. It seems that this place does not have a lot of business, so I can sympathize with their situation. However, if they act in a way that makes the customer feel he is being tricked (along with showing no concern for the customer by talking loudly, not having a comfortable/soothing environment (cold room and no music), etc.), that will turn off customers.
