My physical therapist recommended that I get a deep tissue massage that includes pressure point massage and light stretching. Kate did great! She made sure I was comfortable and applied appropriate pressure and I felt 100% better/less tense after the massage. I highly recommend Kate.

My husband and I got a massage and facial on Christmas Eve as our gifts to each other. Joanne did an amazing job, personalized our treatments, attentive to all the details before and during our visit. Ambience of the rooms were perfect for a relaxing experience! Oana Dancuta, owner of Orchid Esthetics, did our facials. Truly a unique and invigorating facial! Highly recommend Joanne and Oana! You won’t be disappointed!

My mom and I have now been to Journey massage twice. The facility is cozy and confortable. My mom and I agree that we have never had a better massage. Katie greatly helped to reduce some pain I had in my foot due to plantar fasciitis. We both highly recommend Journey massage.

I got a deep tissue massage from Joanne and it was amazing! She was able to fit me in after someone made a cancellation and when I tell you it’s the best massage I’ve ever had I’m not lying! She was so generous and gave me a free add on of cupping! She was so sweet and made the whole experience fun and super relaxing. She found spots that needed fixing that I didn’t even realize needed fixing until she got to it! She also used some real quality products. The massage cream never pilled or felt dry or too oily and the scalp oil is to die for. It literally smells like marshmallows. I cannot recommend this place enough. The space was so clean and relaxing and you are greeted as soon as you walk in! This was such an amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back for more! There are so many different treatment options and prices to fit anyone’s needs (the stress buster is $45). Please please please try this place. It’s truly the most relaxed I’ve felt in YEARS.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing an exceptional massage at Journey Massage. My massage with Joanne surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and soothing. My favorite part of the massage was the cupping - it worked wonders for my muscle tension and left me feeling relaxed. The cupping didn’t leave any marks. You cannot get a bad massage there!

Joanne fit me in because I have been working through some neck pain. The office is calming right as you pull into the parking lot. Joanne has made the space relaxing and clean. She goes above and beyond to be welcoming, personable, and professional. She took time to talk me through what she was feeling. I especially liked that she worked cupping into my massage to relieve my discomfort further. Overall, a wonderful experience!

My experience at Journey Massage has been nothing but wonderful. I have had massages with Joanne going back about 15 years. I have also gifted and referred family and friends because I know they will be in good hands. Joanne is a special person who is knowledgeable and she utilizes lots of techniques to meet your specific needs. A 10/10 is not a high enough score.

Booked the 1 hr Swedish Massage and Scalp Treatment with GIFT & added hot stones & cupping. Truly the best massage I’ve had in a long time. I never knew how gentle but effective cupping could be at relieving tension! The staff are all amazing & friendly & the space is really cute & welcoming. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you Joanne :)

I was at Journey Massage last Saturday for a massage and a facial, thanks to a Mother’s Day gift from my family! The experience in a nutshell was simply magical! The spa is in a beautiful and serene location. The atmosphere inside the spa puts you at ease right away. Joanne, the owner is a very warm, kind, and welcoming person. She did my massage which was one of the best massages I have had! She incorporated magical hot stones into the massage! Additionally, she used cupping which I found very effective. She certainly has very healing hands! After the massage I had a facial done by Oana which beautifully transformed my skin!! Wonderful experience! Never had such a wholesome facial before! Thank you, Joanne, and Oana for going above and beyond! For your warm and caring hands and hearts, I give you a perfect score!

Journey Massage is INCREDIBLE! Joanne was an absolute delight and made my first time there so relaxing and enjoyable. Her spa was clean, she was warm and inviting and the services felt amazing. She was incredibly experienced, very kind, kept me informed of her processes and materials used, and she made sure I was comfortable. Upon arriving, it felt like going into an alcove so that started getting me more relaxed. The setting is awesome. My massage therapist knew my tight spots and concentrated in those areas. Kate was wonderful. It’s hard to find a massage therapist who is talented. I was able to make my appointment texting with the owner, Joanne who was very accommodating to communicate that way. Everything from setting up my first appointment to when my massage was over was very nice. 🥰💆🏼‍♀️

I went to Journey Massage and Spa on Tuesday. Joanne gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. It was perfect! She is experienced, thorough and she truly cares about people. She knew exactly how to handle the stress points in my upper back, neck, shoulders, scalp and arms. I’m on the computer all the time for work, and so my posture isn’t great. She made it all better. I live in Dallas TX and wish I was able to be a regular client. However, every time I make it up to Rochester I will definitely be back to see her.

I have been an athlete my whole life and have been getting massages most of my adult life as well. Being an athlete I have received many cupping massages but I have never experienced the way Joanne does it. Her technique and the way she works with you is amazing. Normally the cups leave dark circles but Joanne expertly moves the cup around your skin so it breaks up scar tissue while also leaving no marks. It is by far the best I have ever received.

I have been going to Journey Massage and Spa services for 5 years and drive an hour there and back because it's worth it! Everyone in the office is extremely caring, gentle and make you feel comfortable. The space is quaint and relaxing. After each massage there is always a cold bottle of water and mint waiting for you which is something I adore. Staff is respectful, communicative and friendly. They respond to emails and phone calls very quickly. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to go for any type of massage or spa service that leaves you feeling satisfied and rejuvenated.

My husband and I went together for his birthday. JoAnne and Toby were absolutely wonderful. We had the best experience and left feeling relaxed and mentally at peace. Joanne made sure to give us complimentary add ons for not being able to be together in the same room which was much appreciated. The hot stones were amazing! Thank you for making his day and his first massage experience such a great one! We will definitely be back for our next “seasonal” wellness massage.

The ladies here are absolutely amazing. So friendly, kind and extremely good at what they do. This was my second time here and they did an amazing job once again. It was extremely relaxing and much needed. If you’re looking for a place to get a massage and relax, I highly recommend going here! Went for a couples massage and had to have the massage in separate rooms due to spacing limitations. Did opt in for 2 add-ons (reflexology & hot stones). The massage itself was okay. The hot stones and the heating/warming pads made it somewhat better but if you're looking to have knots massaged out, you may want to make sure the masseuse knows, or try another establishment.

LOVE going here! This is a small, woman owned business with top notch service! You can book with a specific person or leave it up to chance, but no matter what you're going to get a great massage. I have yet to meet someone there that I don't love. They're super nice and they have great packages and deals every month. My family and I keep gifting these massages back and forth to each other. If you have the option to add cupping, do it! You won't regret it.
