My daughters and I have been going to John Michael Salon for years. The staff is top notch, professional and personable. Our hair has never looked so good! Their prices are very fair. Their clients leave looking beautiful and very happy! Highly recommend!

This is my go to salon. The owner does my hair color, I get a cut and a blow out everytime from different people and I’m never disappointed. when I came to him after I completely ruined my own hair he took me step by step on what we had to do to achieve the look I eventually wanted. It took us about a year to fix my hair and then he was able to do his magic on color. And boy I love my hair. Thank you John Micheal salon.

I recently was given the modern day mullet at this Salon. I won't name a stylist but I will say using the butt of a brush to move my head was the first insult. Then having the crown/top of my hair so short it stands straight up, leaving the back and sides much longer. Advice: if your stylist is in a bad mood, run for the Hills! Never again

I made an appointment for a Keratin with Susan. During my appointment the owner was cursing and yelling throughout the salon because he was upset about something. The keratin treatment itself was fine, but after Susan had me stand up and she cut only the front of my hair for less than two minutes then proceeded to charge me an additional $80 for a haircut that I didn’t ask for or want. I had to run, but called the next day to discuss and ask for a haircut refund. They told me that was a full haircut and was worth the $80 I paid. Truly unbelievable and would not recommend at all!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is not welcoming. They are racist and the work is mediocre. They charge all this money and the hair they do is not worth the price. They don't like black people being in their shop. They are unprofessional and lies about being inclusive. I have never felt so uncomfortable and will tell everyone about the racist ways of this place. The receptionist is nasty and have rude attitude.

The hair stylist did my hair exactly and perfectly as I asked and was very friendly, as well as the rest of the staff. If you come in with an appointment there is no wait time and they do everything very quickly and efficiently

Was very specific about what I wanted when asked. Under cut, hair cut, bleached roots. All one color.. How I end up with highlights? First DYE did not take. Hair was still very clearly a different color, so I sit for color again. And the solution. Highlights. When I told you specifically I didn't want them. How is this the outcome? I paid for my services, tiped my stylists, both of them and cried to the car. So very very very disappointed. Simple directions not followed. I just don't understand. Wouldn't return if you paid me.

Justin is my colorist. I have been using him longer than I have ever used anyone else and I will continue using him for my color. There is no one else I would trust. He is absolutely the most talented colorist I have ever used I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone who will look at you and suggest the perfect color according to your skin color but will also listen to you and care what you are looking for. I have recommended him to all my friends.
