I've been going here for years. They give great haircuts and have phenomenal recommendations for hair products too. Staff has always been friendly and conversational. Would definitely recommend!

To be honest, I didn't get my hair cut here, I was only in town for a couple hours and met one of the stylist, I was able to assist them with something, abd I was so grateful for the opportunity. The original lady I met was so nice. It could of just been a one of, but once I got into the actual shop, I realized everybody working there was a breath of fresh air. Any body or any team that nice, has to give nice cuts. I'd sit in the chair just to be in their presence. What a great group y'all have. It was such a pleasure to be able to walk through your space! Keep it up.

Had a few good haircuts here, but thats the minority. 4 out of 5 stylists have no direction and must be micromanaged. One guy added a hot towel without asking and did chiropractic without my consent and hurt my neck. This last time I showed them 4 or 5 photos of haircut with long bangs parted on the side, and they cut my hair parted in the middle and shortened my bangs. I came here for many years, but i'm moving on.

Great haircutting experience. Got the shampoo with the deluxe and it was well worth it. I love that I could walk in and get a haircut right then.

Always super friendly staff and great service! I had received a disappointing haircut from a barbershop right before this, but April made quick work of that mess and gave me a clean-up that looked 100× better. She graciously charged me less than normal since it was a quick clean-up. Thanks JBS staff!!

Been in SLC for a year, tried a bunch of places, I'm sad to say that I finally found a solid shop 3 weeks before moving. I stumbled onto this place because I saw an arcade while getting ice cream with my wife at Normal next door. Made an appointment (day of) a week later, and was assigned to Katie. I told her what I was looking for and she quickly went to work. Really happy with the result, I can be a bit picky, and I appreciate it when someone cares about their craft. The barber: Katie was great, some people just want to cut your hair and talk to you just enough so that it's not awkward. Katie seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say, we shared stories about childhood, living in Utah, etc. The cut was her priority, but the whole experience wasn't just put on the back burner. The shop. Nice clean shop, the arcade etc is a nice touch, I didn't play, but parking is easy, and showing up 15 mins early to get some cruisin USA time in never hurts (especially if the 90's and mall arcade brings back teenage nostalgia). They have a fridge that's stocked with beverages as well. When I'm back in Utah, and I need a cut, I know who I will be visiting.

Jed's consistently provides a good experience. Barbers who know what they're doing. The straight razor shave with hot cream is amazing. I also highly recommend doing a wash with a hot towel with your choice of scent. Great way to relax and unwind.

Emerald cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! I was looking for a short pixie mullet with shaved sides and I was recommended Emerald. They did amazing! I love my haircut 😍

Amazing experience highly recommend. Alyssa did a perfect job with my haircut and beard. Was worked on for a whole hour which included hot towel shave and a little shoulder massage at the end. This was my first time and it definitely won’t be my last. You cannot beat the service for the price!

I love that I'm always seen for who I am at Jed's and not for who I am assumed to be. This is a great place for Queer/gender-diverse people to get an affirming cut without judgement. I always have a good experience here, and I love the location!
