JByrd Studios, has the best staff! Always polite, and welcoming, This Salon is simply amazing! The atmosphere, is always peaceful and relaxing! Caprice is the Bomb, she cut and colored my hair, I love it, can't wait to go back! She is very knowledgeable about caring for your hair! I Love this place, I highly recommend, from all hair types, and thus Salon also has a MUA, Yana, she is Fantastic as well, you should definitely check them out!

My go to One Stop Shop! Yana always does my makeup so flawless! Just recently did a full face for my family Christmas photos & they turned out beautiful! I always get unlimited compliments on my makeup! Also, the shop is always clean, smells great & all the staff are so friendly! Love Jbyrd studio!

The best hairstylist especially with natural hair. She doesn't just do your hair and make it look good for the day, but educate me on how to take care of my natural hair. I have alway had a difficult time with my natural hair, she made a lot easier. I can finally appreciate my curls.

I just moved to Gainesville & was looking for an affordable place that could retwist my locs. I was able to book with Tori. Tori & her sister were so kind & welcoming. Tori told me each step of what she was doing to my hair & what each product was. She also told me the benefits of each product. She made me excited to try new hairstyles & even eventually color my locs. I will definitely book with them again & will make them my go to hair salon here in Gainesville!

My 7 year old had her very first salon experience with Caprice. Caprice was so patient with my little one and her sensitive scalp and her hair came out AMAZING! Caprice and Tori are amazing. They are very patient and kind. Caprice has been doing hair ever since I was a little girl. She taught me much about my hair and how to care for it properly. They provided the best service and took their time to make sure my hair was healthy. Caprice is a hairologist and I would recommend Caprice and Tori to anyone. :) Very happy and satisfied customer. Oh yes, and they have great hair products that you can purchase.

I have so much hair trauma. My hair has been mishandled all of my life. My hair is very important to me. A lot of sentimental value. I came in for a consultation, they heard me, they empathized with me, and treated me like VIP. The scalp massage 🥴 A blessing. Worth the two hour drive here. I found my new Hair Home 😭 ✨

Caprice not only knows how to do hair, she knows how to treat it as well. I combed out my locs and was in desperate need of a trim and moisture. I went into JBHS, not knowing just how beautiful my curls could be after the damage. Caprice educated me on what my hair needed and gave me a curl defining natural set. I've been natural for years and never saw the full potential of my curls. Can't wait to see what she has in store for my hair!

I went in for a shampoo,blowout,& trim service with Shan it was to most relaxing experience. The shampoo was the best part it was soo relaxing and the way my scalp felt with the tingling shampoo was next level. I wear protective styles most of the time so in between styles I like to have my hair shampooed and trim before getting my next style. Also I’m normally terrified letting anyone trim my hair but she didn’t over do it with the trimming, it was exactly what I needed and wanted. I’m overall very satisfied with my service.
