The best hair salon in Chicago, iv been coming here for about 4-years now & Maria always keeps my hair healthy with highlight or bleaching that she does. I am constantly getting compliments on my hair. 100/100 recommend it here :)

I love getting my haircut here. Maria always brings my hair back to life with beautiful layers. I don’t go just anywhere for my haircuts, but I am always very happy when I leave here and look forward to going back!

Horrible customer service and professionalism I made an appointment for keratin treatment I went in for an in person consultation we where set on details my questions where answered I made an appointment 3 days in advance My appointment was at I:30 today they called me 1:10 to tell me they can’t do the keratin and want to to a washable one that is not what we agreed on consultation I asked if the price was the same and they told me I had to go to tell me the price??? When we had a consultation and went over everything. I’m glad I didn’t do my hair with them because that’s sketchy and weird

I have curly hair and I got my hair dyed from a brown/black to a copper/brown with highlights. Maria did an amazing job I love how my hair turned out. Even though I had previous black hair dye she was able to acheive the color I wanted. Maria made sure to avoid using bleach as much as possible to keep my curls intact and healthy.

Maria is an excellent colorist and stylist. She is very honest and a true professional. I went to her after my hair was destroyed at a high level salon. She did a consultation based on the damage that had been done and started the corrective color process and my hair is in great shape and the color blending she’s done is perfect. I get compliments constantly. I’m so fortunate to have found her. I highly recommend her salon. She uses excellent products also.

My daughter was looking to get her hair dyed green. As a mom I wanted to make sure my mistakes are not repeated and was concerned with lightening/bleaching her hair. After researching products and calling many salons to verify what products are used I found a great artist. I am so grateful that she was willing to share so much information about the products she uses and the process (AND I must share that she has different lightning products on hand and from what I've researched and seen many salons use just 1 lighting brand in their salons). When my daughters hair was done and she looked in the mirror loving herself feelin her hair uuufff LOOOVIN THE COLOR. Of course as a mom shared and felt her joy. I was also so happy to feel my daughters hair healthy even after washings. We came back for our touch up and will be coming back in the future. Recommending her to everyone. Healthy hair and scalp makes mom happy. We love the service they use great products and they are a very friendly family.

This is a great neighborhood salon. I went with Maribel twice. Once for red hair and now to go blonde. Maribel does amazing work. I loved my hair both times I have gone with her. So happy this place is in my neighborhood. UPDATE (9/9/22): I took my daughter here for a haircut. She is 14 and wanted a specific style cut. And the stylist nailed it! My daughter was so happy with the cut. They did an amazing job. Great staff and amazing service as always!

After 2020, my hair was out of control and I was hesitant about having my hair done. Three months ago I read reviews about this salon and Amy was mentioned many times. I got an appointment right away with Amy. She took my out of control, tinted hair and asked her what seemed to be the impossible. She was very honest saying she was hesitant on doing the service I asked for because she didn't want to destroy the integrity of my hair. Needless to say, after a test strand, she performed miracles. Today, three months later, my second visit, I'm much closer to my goal, she truly amazed me! Amy, you are truly amazing!!! Professional, knowledgeable and you have great work ethics!!! If you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for!!!

Going somewhere new can always be a little nerve wrecking but I’m so happy I gave this salon a chance! I went to Maria and had a great experience she took her time, made me feel comfortable, and was honest with me. Great atmosphere as well. Even though coloring can be harsh on your hair she used great products & masks that made my hair feel super healthy after. The color and cut came out exactly how I wanted it! I’ve gotten so many compliments already! I HIGHLY recommend Jamyee Hair Studio! This is my new go-to salon!

am absolutely obsessed with my hair. I have really hard to work with hair, very thick, heavy, and Black. I have been getting a lot of gray hair so, I wanted to lighten my hair to camouflage the grey, but still have it look like me. I have never put highlights in my hair, so I was very nervous. Maria explained everything she was doing, she made me feel so comfortable, she took such great care of my hair. When she was done, I could not believe it was me. I definitely recommend her and this salon if you want a good quality job.
