I normally don't go out of my way to write a review let alone a bad one, but this is one of those exceptions. One of my best friends, who is getting married soon, came here to freshen up her hair as she prepares for the next few months of stressful wedding planning. She asked for a hair cut, blow and dry on her thick curly hair. She did not ask for any extra treatments as she just wanted her hair to be healthy, and to continue growing out her thick springy curly hair. When the hair job was finished the hair cut was supposed to have layers, instead it was uneven and choppy and did not reflect what layers should look like. She was absolutely devastated. That was the first of many problems to come for the next couple of weeks. A few days later when it was her first wash day for her after the salon visit, she experienced losing chunks of hair, it was stripping out in lots of chunks. When she did her regular curl routine she noticed her hair wasn't curling. For the next couple of weeks she continued to lose chunks of hair after every wash and her hair began to become super dry and brittle and she lost her curl pattern. So not only did they give her a terrible hair cut, but from the looks of it they also added a perm treatment to her hair or use a strong treatment chemical when she didn't ask for it. I don't understand how you can let a client walk out the salon with a terrible hair cut like that and not try to fix it. Really unprofessional and untrustworthy. Don't risk coming here and entrusting your hair at this facility. It seems like they're an overall ok salon but from the looks of other reviews this isn't the first time something like this has happened.

RUN! These hairdressers ruined and damaged my hair! If you love your hair and really care about it stay away from this unprofessional salon they will put things in your hair without asking.

Had a terrible experience here. Went in for a perm, got home and realized that my hair was falling out from the back and was feeling a burning sensation. Took a picture only to find out this. Very disappointing and I will not be returning.

I saw Jackie she did wonderful job in haircut styling and did coloring with highlights my hair looked beautiful after she finished plus reasonably priced 👍 Highly recommend this place

It's an ok local salon close to Glen Oaks, Bellerose and Floral Park. Dominican style salon that can handle any hair type.

Ronnie is a really gifted hairdresser. Each time I have a haircut there, I come out feeling so good . I had never felt happy after a haircut until I discovered Ronnie.

Worse hairdressers I’ve ever been to. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did her own thing. She dyed my hair and my roots came out orange and my ends were pink. She ruined and damaged my hair. 0 hospitality - she kept complaining to her coworkers. They do not know how to do balayage or color hair. The process took 6 hours and I was not happy at all with the end result.

I love going to that salon...my hair and scalp feel great after I leave to go home. I thank them for their sincere effort to keep my hair growing healthy making me very happy! My husband loves the look! I hope someone from the salon is reading this review because I want to know when are you reopening?

In the almost 17 years that I have known Jackie, I have always been very well taken care of. I don't go as often as I used to because I no longer work, but I still go. I can't think of going anywhere else.
