I left looking worse than when I came in. Natasha is not knowledgeable at all about natural hair and I asked if they knew how to do natural hair beforehand, I even included photos. Not coming back. All my hair has been chopped off for nothing!!

Literally the BEST salon I’ve been to. 12/10 would recommend. I think I have 3B hair and it was cut PERFECTLY. The wash was relaxing (I almost fell asleep) I was comfortable and was even laughing the entire time. Again, 12/10 would recommend. I have a before and after photo and in the after photo, I did edit but the focus here is the shape of the hair. I love it

I absolutely love International Hair Studio, Bartlett Tn. The team there is great! The ladies a very talented and professional, it doesn’t matter your race or nationality, natural or relaxed, short or long, they can do it all. If you need a wig or braids, someone in the salon can do it! I’ve been going to Nikki for at least 16 years, since she worked at Regis in Wolfchase mall. What I love about Nikki is, she will give her honest opinion on what she thinks your hair needs! Went from Relaxed long hair, to short natural hair and I Love..Love..Love my hair! I spoke on the phone yesterday with a woman at the desk, she was very nice, polite , and professional. She did not have an attitude and she gave me helpful tips and advice. I have not purchased hair yet but based off the positive attitude that I experienced on the phone I can’t wait to try the hair and do business with this company.

Passing through town and thought I'd stop for a hair color. Thought it was a little expensive for what I had done. My stylist was charming and professional but some of color wasn't applied around my face. Already see gray (in one day). Should have asked how much prior to scheduling...my fault.

I initially chose this place to get my hair cut in February because I had seen some good reviews for women with natural hair. However, I was mistaken. First, my first appointment with them got cancelled because a stylist had to leave for an emergency. That’s fine, things happen and I rescheduled. I came in for my second appointment and the stylist I had talked to wasn’t there, so I had to be helped by someone else. Mind you, at the time I had a lot of thick 4b/4c hair and I repeatedly asked if I needed to come blown out to ease the process. I was told I did not. When I got to the chair the stylist seemed afraid of my hair and did not know what to do with it. She hacked at my hair with what I presume were dull shears and destroyed my ends. It has been two months and my hair is unmanageable. I thought it was me at first, but I’ve come to realize it was not. I’ve had natural hair for 6 years and my hair has never been as dry and broken as it is now, and I use my same natural hair routine. I asked for a tapered cut, so why is my hair 6 inches in the back and 3 inches on top? The ladies at SmartStyle in the Trinity Rd. Walmart have done a much better job on my haircuts in the past and I will go back to them to fix it once everything opens back up.

Best colorist in Memphis hands down period. I accidentally stumbled upon this hidden gem I moved from South Florida near Miami and I was used to getting my hair done by extremely gifted professionals. After moving to Memphis I could find no one comparable in terms of achieving the look I was going for. I am a blonde and want it perfect. I tried everything the only one that came close was an Aveda salon where I ended up spending close to or sometimes over $300 multiple times. This salon was different; it was affordable. the staff was professional and knowledgeable. It was easy to get an appointment, I was actually a walk in. They offered me a glass of wine, I enjoyed a good conversation and believe it or not this is the first salon that actually did my hair right on the first attempt, even the Aveda salon first attempt was incorrect and I had to return for a color correction. Nikki is so awesome. First of all, I was in desperate mode to get a hair cut. I was on my lunch break and I’ve never attempted before to go to a salon on my lunch break. I walked in the door and she was so welcoming. She assured me she could wash, cut and style my hair and have me back at work on time and she did just that. I was feeling not so pretty walking in her salon that day and I left feeling full of confidence and beautiful because of Nikki. I will definitely be back!!

Best hair salon hands down there are very professional. They do all kind of hair styles an sew ins also do natural hair. I took my daughter here to get her ends cut an a pressing. Her hair was beautiful when she got done. I recommended a friend to go here an she took her daughter to get her hair done an she loved it. They have a new hairstylist now..
