Kelley is a Godsend! After working with a dermatologist to help regrow my hair for about 3 years, I was struggling to find styling that had staying power, made me feel good wearing it and didn’t add tension to my already compromised scalp. At the advice of my dermatologist, I began looking for a trichologist and found Kelley. She is warm, caring and has magic hands. I was nervous as she told me we needed to cut my hair to create a stronger foundation, but trusted the process. It’s only been 3 months and my hair has rebounded BEAUTIFULLY. The inches she cut have grown back and then some. My hair REQUIRES steam (not just heat and deep conditioning) and I was having a hard time getting stylists to accept this about my hair. She has consistently steamed (rehydrating) my hair, done some amazing hair treatments and the magic - FINGER COILS and my hair loves it! For the first time in my entire life, I am not only comfortable, I am CONFIDENT wearing my God-given hair and am constantly stopped and complimented on how healthy and good it looks. I had a really, really great experience with Kelley. She did a good job with my hair as i struggled with alopecia. I was desperate to see myself beautiful again. I had a wig install done. I went to her with a wig that I had a hard time keeping it on for long without it slipping down. But Kelley did wonder with that wig. She installed perfectly, and I received a lot of compliments with it. Most importantly, the wig stayed on for about 2 weeks without falling off. It was neatly and professionally done. She even gave me a nice shampoo and scalp massage. I definitely enjoyed my experience with her and plan to stick with her when it comes to my hair. I would recommend her if you have alopecia or any sort of hair issues. She will surprise you and amaze. I came in desperate but left feeling beautiful and empowered... Thank you, Kelley.

I found Kelley in my time of need. I had beautiful locs for several years then was diagnosed with an underlining condition. My hair fell out and my scalp suffered inflammation. I agreed to a 3-month treatment plan and at the end, my scalp went through a complete transformation. I no longer had scalp irritation or scabs and I am continuing with my hair regrowth journey. I thank Kelley for her services and highly recommend her Trichology services. So ladies, invest in your hair, it’s the crown you can never take off.

I an a long time client of IMKelley and I have been extremely satisfied with services she offers. Recently a family number noticed a bald patch are my nape. Not previously having experience with hair loss I turned to the trichologist services offered by IMKelley. After a comprehensive look at the total me, hair, medical conditions, and lab work, to name a few, Kelley spoke candidly and compassionately, offered a diagnosis and suggested that I follow up with a medical doctor (she even offered to help me find a doctor), which I did. The doctor gave the same diagnosis for my hair loss and I am currently undergoing treatment. I am truly appreciative of IMKelley’s trichology services and recommend them to anyone looking for that next step.

I have been going to Kelly at least fifteen years. She is super professional and knowledgeable about the latest in hair care. I personally go to Kelly for hair loss and I must say her work is phenomenal. My scalp has gone from extremely tender almost untouchable to getting a comb through. She is hands down the best hairdresser/tricologist in the DMV area. She also does my daughters hair and I can definitely vouch for her silk presses. I was referred to IMKelley by another stylist who wasn't comfortable with color correction and applying silver platinum hair color. So she referred me to Kelley. Kelley was absolutely awesomely fantastic. She applied the necessary corrective measures to correct the color issue that was caused by my long time colorist. Kelley is FABULOUS! I love her. My first experience was a blow out and trim. I hadn’t had my hair styled professionally in over a year. Kelley walked me through my trim, showed me the areas that needed to be trimmed, then asked how much I was comfortable cutting. The blow out lasted weeks! It was bouncing and behaving! When I transitioned to curly hair, Kelley cut and styled my curly locks to perfection. Two thumbs up, ladies! Fast forward eight months... a friend recommended a trendy curly cut, a Deva cut. It was not for me. I ran back to Kelley as fast as my little feet would take me. Kelley showed me the layers cut in my hair, and asked how much length I was willing to lose BEFORE she cut it. Kelley fixed it, ladies! Thank you, Jesus! I now have a cute natural curly cut that showcases my curl pattern, and black girl magic. Thank you, Kelley! I won’t ever cheat again. Love you, girl.
