Emily Cook is by far the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. She knows everyone by name and is super easy to talk to. She is always looking out for the health of my hair while also helping me accomplish all of my hairbrained transformations. She does such a fantastic job of taking my vague ideas and turning them into something I fall in love with every time we are finished. 10/10 recommend Emily for all of your hair needs!!

The best place I'm nashville for a hair cut. I am a 29 y/o male and can never seem to get the right cut at any level of salon or bargain hair cut place, until I started going here. Their entire staff is friendly and professional. Jacob has been my stylist for about 3 or 4 years and won't go anywhere else PERIOD! I live in spring hill now so even though the drive is about 45 minutes for me now I will still make it every time.

This place is amazing. I came in after quarantine feeling like a complete sack of potatoes, and Sarah Grady made me look and feel like a celebrity. The space is also really inviting and well-decorated. Staff is friendly and warm. Highly recommend.

There’s no other place to go for the best hair ever!! The whole team are hair geniuses! Artist! Really. Lee is my personal favorite. He’s creative. And ultimately he cares. That’s a huge difference. My haircuts last longer and look great. I literally drive an hour to get him to cut me.

I've been going to Hyde for a couple of years. The people are always friendly. However, I've been through 3 stylists because the two I had used previously left. My most recent appointment, I asked for 6 inches to be cut off my hair. I explained that I wanted it to start long omg the front and the back to end about my bra line. I ended up losing a foot of hair and got a lob. She gave me a blunt cut when I asked for layers. And with my curly hair it just looks like a mess. I have no way to fix my hair, and the girl was oblivious that she cut my hair 6 inches shorter than what I asked. It is the worst hair cut I've had since middle school when I went to the beauty school for a cut. The color I got was very average. It was close enough to what I asked for. I was not impressed at all. I will not be back .

They take care of my whole family now & everybody looks better than ever & all rave about how great Hyde Salon is. Jacob STYLES YOUR hair. He gets to know how your hair lays & judges the shape of your head/face to give you the best STYLE. Not just a haircut.

I bought at an auction a gift certificate for Hyde with Noel. When I called to set up the appointment, I wanted to be sure I knew what was covered by the certificate, and the receptionist confirmed with someone at the salon that it was for cut, color and blow dry. At a later date, I called to make the appointment. Once again, we talked about what was covered, and the same was confirmed to me. I went for the appointment. I never know whether I like the color until the next day, when I have had a chance to see my hair several times in the daylight and at home. Stylists always want you to rave about your hair when they are done, and I knew I liked it okay, and said so. However, the next day, it was alright, but did not have the blonde around my face that I usually like to get, and not enough blonde throughout, so it was too dark. I couldn't tell that when I left. When the stylist was done with my hair, the receptionist figured up the bill, took the gift certificate, and I paid a nice tip, and bought an expensive product as an act of good will (probably will never use it). I paid well at the auction for this service. When I later arrived home, there was an answering machine message saying that more was owed. This was completely aggravating, as I had confirmed twice what the gift certificate covered, went out of my way to do that, and with what I had paid for everything, it certainly covered most of the services. I couldn't believe that after I had paid twice - once at the auction, then at my appointment, and now they want me to return and pay some more? Really? After I had checked on it twice? Will not return there; husband said to just forget them. It was more of a hassle than it was worth. And then, as I had a big event, which was the reason for getting a good color and cut, I had to go to another salon to make it more blonde. So, I ended up spending a lot more than I wanted to, with the product and the subsequent repair of the color. BTW: Yelp does not have accurate reviews. It does not accept a negative review in many cases. I am not talking about this salon, but other reviews. It is heavily weighed in favor of businesses, so I do not post reviews there, and do not consider their reviews accurate at all.

Love Hyde Salon - Jacob is the absolute best. The environment with inviting and clean, the staff is welcoming and Jacob is a miracle worker. I highly recommend Hyde Salon.

Regarding YELP, I posted a negative review detailing several very bad experiences I had at the salon and funny thing is, I can't find it now. It has been DELETED! Beware. I didn't try all stylists, but did try three different ones with less than desirable results each time. I just got tired of wasting money.

The people at Hyde are outstanding! They are all very friendly and accommodating. My Stylist is Christina and she has done wonders for my hair. By recommending products for my hair that are appropriate for my needs, my hair is in the best condition. Even though I went to another salon, before coming to Hyde, that carried the Kerastase products, the stylists were not informed on how to use the products. The actual hair color used is different from that used in other salons and has been the best I have ever experienced. I would highly recommend Hyde!
