AK was super helpful and did an amazing job! I live nearby and wasn't 100% sure what I wanted but knew I wanted it to be healthier and more like my natural color after my August wedding. I fully trusted them and they delivered! Super happy with the results and will be back. Everyone was super nice and the space was cozy. Would definitely recommend AK!

Such an awesome & affordable salon! The whole team is super friendly & very down-to-earth. Carina is also an AMAZING stylist! It's been over a decade since someone actually listened & implemented results I could actually be happy about. I'm sooo grateful to FINALLY have a hairdresser I can trust in NY!

Have been coming here for years, came last week and saw a new stylist. My hair is completely botched, it’s going to take months if not a full year for my hair to recover from. My hair is all different lengths and I have patches that were thinned way to much on the ends that it looks patchy. My ends (that now go almost up to my roots in some spots from over thinning) look completely fried from her “thinning my ends” even though I just got a hair cut. Do not get a short hair cut here. In addition to this, Dallan from the front desk was so incredibly rude to me on the phone that I truly think it’s time to find a new salon. This place is not what it used to be.

I called on a random Saturday night and was lucky to get a full dye and cut. It was amazing! She nailed the color exactly. The price is very reasonable, and the experience was fantastic. This will be my new regular salon! So happy with my experience here:)

I had a wonderful appointment with Erika for a transformative cut and curtain bangs. I’m really happy with the change and Erika’s attention to detail in fitting the cut to frame my face and work with my super fine hair. I’m so happy to have found a new go-to local salon.

Erika P was the BEST!! She did exactly what I asked for and expertly guided me through what I wasn’t sure about. I felt 100% comfortable trusting her with my (very) long hair. I don’t like to cut it often and I always get anxious about taking too much off and/or trusting someone new with it - but she knew exactly what to do and shaped it beautifully with gorgeous layers and curtain bangs. Can’t recommend enough!!

Got an amazing haircut today with Carina! Seriously one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had in my life. This is my third time coming here - it’s not as crazy expensive either. This place is great.

Great little salon! Got a blowout with Carina. I have a ton of baby hairs so it’s always a toss up on how my hair will come out with a new hairdresser — she did an amazing job! Everything stayed styled for multiple days. :) Quick turnaround and cute space. I also love how Carina was great at having natural, fun conversation without being too pushy .. sometimes the forced convo when you’re getting your hair done is uncomfortable, but she knows exactly how much is good convo and when to have comfortable silence. 😂 Def recommend both Hour Rose & Carina!

Honestly the staff is amazing but they don’t know how to cut hair short. I was extremely disappointed when I scheduled my mom as a gift to get a short haircut. She came in with a photo of how she wanted it and seemed excited like they could do it. They butchered her hair. I had high hopes but honestly tears came to both of our eyes after that haircut. Sorry but don’t come in for a short cut.

I came in for a blow dry and styling with Carina. I had a fantastic experience!! The salon was comfortable, clean, and cute. Carina did exactly what I wanted and my style held for my entire photo shoot later that day. It was very easy to book online and they sent reminders. Highly recommend!!

I've been going to Dru at Hour Rose Salon for over 3 years and every time i'm amazed by her talent. She is a hair wizard - i have curly hair, and she is the only one i trust with my hair cut. The color is always on point, i leave super happy and get so many compliments. I referred many friends and we are all forever customers! Plus it's very affordable! If you want a salon with superior artists at reasonable prices- this is the place! Everyone here is so down to earth and so good at what they do. Keiani is the best colorist I have ever had. Her communication and ability to explain processes/anticipate results is beyond. She is amazing at listening, interacting (if you want), and the most important- executing! This place is a must go!

I’ve used many different hair stylists here and never was disappointed walking out. They also take the time to tell you how to style your hair (which, as someone who knows nothing about hair, is SUPER helpful). Not to mention everyone is very kind. Highly recommend!

Love this salon! I started going here when I moved to the neighborhood and I’ve always had an incredible experience. Carina does my hair and I can’t recommend her enough! Okay so Carina is literally the sweetest, most empathetic, wonderful, TALENTED angel. She always listens to what I want in addition to giving me what I never knew I could have. I leave the salon feeling amazing every single time. 1000000/10 if I could give a million stars I would.

Ever since moving to Brooklyn this has been the only hair salon I’ll go to. The atmosphere is relaxed and never seems too hectic or overwhelming like a lot of other salons. I see Carina, and she is simply the best! She understands the look I’m going for even when I can’t quite explain it myself. If you’re looking for a new stylist look no further!
