I’ve had so many ppl chop up my hair so I haven’t gotten it cut in 5 years. My hair is very thick and all the way to my rear end. I was lucky enough to pair up with Sarah and she was amazing! She took her time, knowing how important my hair was to me. She treated my hair with such care and respect. Their prices and the best, I plan to never go to another salon again. Everyone at this school were very welcoming and kind.

Are you looking to help others while being helped yourself? Are you thinking self care at a salon is out of your price range? What would you say if I told you, there is a place here at Hot Springs Beauty College where future cosmetologist preform so many wonderful services under the supervision of instructors. Today, I enjoyed a shampoo, blowout, and makeup application. Ava and Dixie were amazing. They were able to make me feel and look like a princess. Go ahead schedule an appointment online or walk in the door during business hours. They have 75 chairs and multiple students who need experience and are looking forward to serving you with your self-care needs.

This was my first visit here. I am so pleased with the time spent chatting with Greg and Emily prior to my hair appt. They explained and guided me in the best direction for my hair color options. Thank you. I love my hair color. ❤️ I will be back!

Went in Friday got about six inches cut off then went back Monday and got my hair dyed and colored I had Sara and she did amazing for being a student at the school n Ik I will need to go back uk there for touch up in some area.

Customer Service training is a must , should be on top of skills to be learned! Starting from setting appointments to knowing how to handle situations that are their faults, not just shrug it off. I paid for nail service that took well over a 1 1/2 hours and she only got the existing polish off, (I mentioned the tin foil wrap, after it had gone on way to long) the trainer finally gave in and got the drummel, she’s not qualified to use it, at least she tried to speed up this process, I appreciated it. My client was finished 30-40 min before I- I had to end the appointment- unfinished. I did tip the gal(she’s learning)she did what she was taught to do. What about management? Is this the example we want to teach these techs? They knew and did nothing to ensure that I was satisfied. That’s the norm? Blow it off ? Don’t like it, don’t come back attitude? The students and instructors were very nice, all of them-I need nice and productive,aware, pride in ones work! They should ask themselves “how would I feel if it was happening to me” before they talk crap, roll their eyes etc., I was passive- but not everyone will be. Who’s paying to get my nails that are ridged, unsmooth, and ripping (fixed)and done? In the end, the tech told me she needed my number , if I wanted my receipt, she would text it to me. (What??) I paid, $30 for 2 gel manicures-no one there to do gel extensions (even though the day before I called and set appointment specifically for that(my sweet elderly client’s birthday present )service- the tech let that roll right off of her, no empathy for her disappointment, nothing-(felt like “oh well”). I got the text message receipt it was $32.00. Again! Customer Service training is a must and a priority!!!!! I appreciate the program you offer- but the professionalism is non existent.

Deborah one of the students there that cut my son's hair she did very great and she also was very helpful and making sure that she did everything the right way and by the book if you wanna go see somebody and care about how your hair looks then Deborah is the person Id go to because she wants to make sure that you are happy with what she does She is also very careful and pays a great amount of attention to what your wanting her to do.

I made appointments for five people. Called the day before to confirm appointment and asked if i needed to reschedule due to weather, and was told no they would be open. Show up day of appointment and they are closed. No call to inform me of closing or to even reschedule..

I went in with the intent of a mushroom brown balayage. The girl who did my hair was learning, and she was very sweet. The first time I went in my hair was bleached, and it had to be corrected and didn't quite turn out. I asked about the mushroom brown color as all we did was bleach. I was told it was "in there". I was told I could come back free of charge to have it all corrected, and I paid $68 for a balayage. I went back on Friday, and spent another 6 hours on top of the 5 from a few days before. This took up two days of my 7 day trip. Again, my base hair color was not changed, and ends were bleached. When it was down I asked, when are we doing the color I came in asking for, and nobody knew what I was talking about. A stylist and a student then tag teamed my hair and did an all over color of the mushroom brown. I walked out after 11 hours looking very similar to the color I went in with, and paid $68 balayage and I walked out with an all over color. I just wanted to type this out for anyone wanting to go, I think it is great that people are learning and you can go in for a discounted price, but please make sure to make yourself clear, ask questions, and advocate for yourself while you are there.

This is the only place I have gotten my hair done since I moved to hot springs. Jessie the instructor is very professional and knows what the regular customers will and will not like.

This school is a scam. It is ran as only a profitable business and not a learning environment. My family member went to this establishment and was cheated out of her education. Her grades were acceptable. The freshman teacher does not take the time to teach the students how to do things to their liking. You either do it to their liking with minimal guidance or you are dropped from the college even when your grades and studies are going well. This is why there is a 52% pass rate for this section of the "college" at Hot Spring Beaty College. Take the risk with almost $20,000 that the instructor will like you.

Worst haircut I've ever had, instructor wasn't present during cut allowed a two week on floor student to monitor own skills or should I say lack of. Never again will I go here.
