First time visiting Hot House SLC. It was an amazing experience! Friendly, helpful host. The place is very clean. We really liked the infrared sauna--first time doing that kind of sauna. Great that the cold plunge is outside in a beautiful little courtyard. Will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.

I absolutely Love this place. On little side street you go downstairs and it’s super private. Everything works like it’s brand new, the sauna/steam room/cold plunge combo you simply can’t beat. Incredible service too, the owner is super nice and extremely knowledgeable about health and wellness. I was here for work, so I’d thought I’d pop in, ended up finding an absolute gem that I’ll be going to every time I’m in Salt Lake now. Thank you 🙏

This place was amazing! My husband and I are staying at the grand America and wanted a spa day that had more than a typical spa. We used the couple private infrared sauna, steam shower, and outdoor cold plunge. It was so relaxing and amazing! Thank you again !

I travel a lot for work, and find myself in the SLC area quite frequently. From time to time, I get the urge to enjoy a relaxing sauna, which is something that reminds me of my family and my childhood. Up until yesterday, the impulse to look up local sauna access has always left me disappointed - either in the lack of options or the quality - and I've always given up in frustration. Hot House SLC is an amazing find. The entrance can be hard to locate, sandwiched between two buildings and around a corner, with no directional signs on the sidewalk. Your check-in is linked to you via a text message that lets the staff know to let you in the locked entrance, which was not very clear to me. However, once you are inside the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable. I purchased the 'Bathhouse experience' at a VERY good price of $55. This got me a 90 minute private room with an IR sauna, steamroom/shower combo, and access to the outdoor 'plunge pool' for a cold system shock. My routine was 25 minutes in the IR sauna, 5 minutes in the steamroom, a quick warm rinse with the shower, and a short dunk in the freezing water of the outdoor tub. I was able to complete this circut three times before my time was up. I am not very 'new-age', so I didn't pay to much attention to the benefits and enhancements. I was looking for a quiet and hot room where I could relax and read my Kindle. What I can say about the experience is when I left after my 90 minutes I felt COMPLETLY relaxed. My normally tense muscles felt loose, my core felt warm, my skin refreshed and tingly from the plunge, and my stress melted away. I got what I was looking for - relaxation, renewal, and peace (with a side of nostalgia for my childhood). I recommend trying out the experience at Hot House SLC before they get 'discovered' and the prices go up. I still can't believe it was only $55 for everything I got. I will definitely be returning next time I am in town.

Place was closed when i arrived for my appointment. It appears their site takes bookings despite the place being closed. I only had 2 days in salt lake city and organised my day around it. Very disappointing.

I am addicted to this place! Best infrared sauna and cold plunge setup in Salt Lake City. I will be working with the owner to create a custom sauna to fit my space at home. Highly recommend.

I loved my experience here! I loved soaking in the health benefits from the light therapy and halotherapy in the sauna! And the cold plunge was so invigorating! Afterwards I felt so relaxed and light (: will be going back again.

Wonderful relaxing experience! The sauna was so spacious, loved the lavender diffuser, halotherapy and listening to my music while enjoying the red light therapy. This was my first time trying the cold plunge and going from the sauna to the tub and back again, was an invigorating experience that I can't wait to repeat! I felt so relaxed and slept so well that night.

Frank was so helpful and friendly! Having a place in salt lake for plunging is amazing, but add the benefit of a private room is just top notch! Plus the space is clean and well managed. My husband and I love that we can play our music while we sauna. Thank you! Can’t wait for our next visit.

I truly had a wonderful experience at Hot House. Frank was incredibly flexible with me, and I was able to plan an impromptu session right before I flew back home. Room was perfect, sauna impeccably clean, cold plunge was 👌, teas and water readily available —> this place does it right with A+ service through and through. Came to Salt Lake City and booked a hotel that had a sauna. 3 days into the stay, it broke. This place was a saving grace. Frank the owner is very personable and accommodating. He wants each guest to feel at home. Tea, fresh water, sandals, and towels available. I was especially grateful when he opened early for me one day so I didn't need to miss my conference. It's the most affordable sauna I have seen and as a traveler, by far the best customer service I have experienced at any of the places I ve been too. Come support this business and help him grow to more rooms!!

Super chill! I feel so enlightened after doing the sauna and cold plunge. The sauna had redlight and Infrared colors you can pick from. We opted for the minerals and wow I feel like I can take deep breaths again. Private room, you can connect your music and just emerge yourself in the experience. Check in and out was easy peazy. 10/10!

Needed some rejuvenation and was excited to use this place while in town for a couple nights getaway with husband from kids. The place was under construction because the owner is expanding the business. But he communicated this to us clearly and ahead of time. No issues with the construction downstairs disturbing our visit. The sauna was clean, in working order, and the cold plunge was fantastic. Towels, slides, water and complete privacy were provided. Definitely felt like as escape in the city. Can’t wait to go back when it’s even bigger!

THIS IS AN AWESOME PLACE! Wish I lived here so I could go everyday. Infrared sauna with an actual red light in it and you can also do the salts perfect price point affordable for everyone. It’s clean, the staff is a wonderful and so helpful. They provide towels, tea, water. This is a must do! It’s really like a 20 Star Place to go.

AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back. The private room is such a vibe. I jammed to my favorite songs, danced, sang, sweated, cold plunged, and left feeling like a brand new person (with the world’s softest skin). One of the better self care days I’ve had. Will be back! 10/10.

Incredibly relaxing experience. You get a big private room with an infrared sauna and a cold tub. Every 15 minutes we did a quick cold dip then back in the sauna. After a stressful week it was a perfect way to recharge for the weekend. Frank the manager was very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be going back!

The infrared saunas and cold baths featured at Hothouse were incredibly relaxing and healing. I hurt my low back at work and swear this fixed it. Amazing! I would highly recommend this wonderful healing experience!

This place is amazing! From the blue tooth speaker in the sauna to the refreshing cold plunge tub, I’d recommend it to anyone.
