I feel it's important for me to leave my review, even though it's uncomfortable to do so. I had my first wax with Lauren today and booked an eyebrow wax. I asked Lauren if I could hold up the mirror while she does the eyebrow wax since I'm nervous of new people doing my brows. Lauren was visibly annoyed after I asked this and rolled her eyes. I felt uncomfortable by this so I just trusted her to do it without me looking with the mirror. I didn't like how they came out and was sad with the outcome, and I regretted not leaving after she made me feel bad for my request to hold the mirror. I'm giving this review two stars, since my first eyebrow wax at this salon with Kaziah went great. Kaziah was friendly and understanding, and offered to let me hold the mirror while she did my eyebrow wax since I told her I was nervous and like to build trust with waxers when I'm meeting them for the first time. The other Google reviews of Lauren are really positive and good, so maybe she just didn't like me and that's why my experience went the way it did.

Erin is a hair magician and she knows her stuff. Honestly she gave me one of the best haircuts (twice) I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and try to snag an appointment with her.

The women at this salon are amazing! They are incredibly professional and super flexible. I didn't get a chance to get my eyebrows waxed before heading up to El Dorado county for my wedding, but luckily they had a spot available. When the person I booked with had to cancel because their child was sick, she immediately found a time that worked for me and another staff to get me in ASAP. They were also able to add in a spray tan last minute so I could have a little bit more of an even complexion in my photos! I would definitely recommend this salon and I would return again, with an appointment made in advance of course.

I moved here a couple years ago & found Lauren on a whim. So grateful I did because she truly is the best! Visits are quick, painless & post wax results are always perfect! I've also used her for spray tans and the color is always on point! Ambiance in the salon is calm and welcoming with beachy boho vibes. Everything is super clean and sanitary which is a huge one for me, so I give 10 stars on that right there!

Found this cute salon using google to find somewhere close to home. The reviews were great so I decided to give it a try. Lauren was friendly and professional and made me feel super comfortable. She was quick and did a fantastic job. I will definitely be back!

I chose Lauren based on her excellent reviews and she has definitely earned them! I have not tried waxing before and thought it might be painful and embarrassing but her easy going nature and skill made the experience worth repeating. She also has a lot of tips for keeping your skin healthy before and after waxing. I have not had the issues with itchiness or rash like in the past! I am so impressed with this experience i plan on continuing to use her services.

I found Lauren a few months ago before my wedding and I was immediately drawn to all the amazing reviews of her. Her place is situated in such an adorable salon. I’ve been coming to her consistently every month and she always does such a great job. She is easy to talk to and doesn’t make me feel awkward. She provided a lot of helpful skincare/ aftershave tips. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I had my Brazilian wax with Lauren, she was phenomenal; she was absolutely time efficient and made it as painless as possible. I will definitely be coming back to her on a regular basis. The salon is beautiful and has such relaxing modern vibes.

Lauren is awesome! I feel comfortable and at ease around her. I’ve only gotten my underarms done and she’s always done a great job. I was hesitant before my first time but it went by super fast and not painful at all. I also bought one of her sugar scrubs (which she made herself!) and I love it.

I've been to plenty of waxing salons in my time especially because I have extremely sensitive skin, but by far Hide Tide Salon is the best! Lauren's compassion, professionalism and attention to detail is superior to her peers. We all know waxing can be a bit uncomfortable and painful, but with Lauren it's smooth and quick next thing you know you're done. The product she uses too smell amazing. If you're looking for a person to do your waxing, book your services with Lauren at Hide Tide Salon. She's truly the best. P.S- Her salon and room is beautiful! Makes you want to hang out after.
