Haiya and her team are amazing! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Haiya and Cici worked on my hair today, and I left with it looking and feeling so much healthier than before. Haiya has been my go to curl expert for 7 years! She helped me transition my heat and color damaged hair to bouncy healthy curls! As a natural girly I was desperate for a spot where I could get a gorgeous cut AND a fire wash and go and HERCURLS exceeded my expectations tenfold. I basically live in this salon. It is TRULY that good. I’ve gotten curly cuts in the biggest natural salons in the country and none of them match Haiya’s hand. Worth every penny. Every second in that chair.

I’ve never been to a salon before, I’m more of a barbershop kind of guy and I was told I got the curls for the girls. But from what I am aware, no barbershop is teaching me how to properly take care of my hair and that’s exactly what Haiya and her crew did. Not only was the customer service levels through the roof but the actual level of care and love that goes into their craft shows tenfold! It was a lush experience, very informative, and super chill. Can’t wait to go back for my trim.

Having curly hair with different textures based on the weather can be tough but she always keeps it looking luscious and healthy and the curls BE POPPIN. I’m from Fl and Haiya is in Texas, so you do the math. This is how good she is. She always leaves my curls hydrated and with THE PERFECT shape. My curls are on the looser side and she manages to spring them up perfectly. Having healthy curls is very important to me (obvi) so I’m happy I found her. Also, HER CURLS is a vibe.

Giiiiiirrrrlll the environment, the scent, the vibe, everything gives! They are all so sweet and they listen to you to make sure your you're happy with the results. I looveee the cut and style! Cici ate it up with the the washing portion! I felt pampered 😭 Haiya is amazing with the cut! She knows exactly what to do and I feel so relieved that I can trust her with my hair. I won't go anywhere else. If you were ever on the edge of deciding to come here don't think about it just jump! It's so worth it!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for the curly girls out there. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Haiya for a year and a half now, and she knocks it out of the park EVERY TIME. I love the vibe of the salon and her assistants are so sweet. Cici’s hair wash portion was MAGNIFICENT; I felt like I was getting a relaxing spa treatment. Can’t wait until my next appointment!

I have been going to Haiya since 2018 for curly cuts and I refuse to let anyone else handle my hair. She knows exactly how to maintain length while providing volume/shape that I like. Also, her studio is a vibe: chill music is always playing, I am always offered a beverage upon entering, the conversation is great, the team is always asking if I'm comfortable (shoutout to Ciera & Mari!), the abundance of plants everywhere makes me happy... Recently had an appointment for a cut and color and I'm so happy with the results!

I have had my hair cut a lot when I wore it straight or when I cut it all off...but when I decided to go curly, noone seemed to know what to do with it and so my cuts would look weird and my hair always looked frizzy... UNTIL I FOUND DANI AT HERcurls STUDIO!! 1st pf all, the whole vibe of this super cute studio had me wanting to move in! Very clean, with an earthy, organic flow. I was offered a mimosa (delicious) and was greeted by the friendly studio dog! When I tell you I made the right choice!!! Dani took time to look at and touch my hair, discuss options for what I need and what I wanted it to look like. We came up with a plan together and she put it motion! Afterwards, she spoke with me about maintenance and suggested products. I liked that she wasn't pushing products on me but made sure I was aware of what products I need and what they had available in the studio. I bought products and they were very comparable in price with other stores where some of those products are sold. I walked out feeling like a million bucks! I can't wait to go back! I give it a solid 10 out of 10. If you need a curly cut...THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!! Thank you, Dani, and thank you, HERcurls!

I was extremely disappointed with my hair experience. If you just want your hair shaped and NOT cut off she aint it. She seemed very distracted (talking to her assistant about some drama in her personal life)and did not listen to my needs - specifically being i wanted to maintain my length. My hair is now at least 3 inches shorter . I was literally in tears when i left. I get that she feels as if she knows best but its always best to listen to what your customer wants.She was very complimentary of my hair health so not sure why she cut so much off . Unfortunately she is not the only stylist that doesnt seem to understand the concept of a shape or trim . African american hair doesnt grow fast so now i am looking at a good year and a half to recover length lost . In restrospect looking at all her instagram photos it seems the only customers who seem to maintain length after a session with her have no more curl than say a 3A. Perhaps she is not as comfortable with a kinkier curl pattern . Her being distracted and literally not listening to what i wanted is what upsets me the most. She needs to listen to her customers and see what they are looking for . I specifically told her I wanted to maintain my length and she just chopped it . It didn’t seem like she was paying attention to anything I said anyway. I want to keep my hair healthy with regular trims but it’s frustrating how people market themselves as curly hair specialists insist on cutting more than necessary . Still pisst !

Haiya is amazing at what she does. I never leave her chair disappointed. She is extremely knowledgeable about curly hair and can answer any question you might have. She prioritizes healthy hair and can execute any shape or color you desire. I've been going to her for about 5 years now, and I have no complaints.

Haiya is an incredibly talented stylist with the passion and commitment to making sure all her clients not only have a great session but know how to truly care for their hair. Before booking with her, I thought my haircare routine was pretty great but had the feeling it wasn’t exactly keeping my hair happy and healthy. In my first session, she explained to me in detail what I need to do and use and my hair has NEVER been happier. This salon and everyone who works here is truly a gem and I definitely recommend!!!

Haiya is literally the best to EVER do it. Hands down, no negotiations. PERIODT. She’s more than just a stylist, you can tell this is her passion; she actually cares about your hair and it’s clearly evident in her work. I’ve been to other stylist within the DFW area that claim to specialize in “curly hair” and Haiya has had to fix their work. I won’t mention any names. I’ll never let anyone else touch my hair, I can’t recommend her enough. Her spirit is so beautiful, her staff is amazing, her work space is definitely a vibe, she has a faithful client for life! Love you girl!

I traveled to LA just for Gethaiya to get my hair right. & she did. PERIOD. I love my cut, I love my bangs. Very knowledgeable. I loved the products that was used. The shop was very cute and clean as well. Definitely worth flying out for.

I was very excited to get my hair done. After I booked I immediately received a list of instructions on how to prep my hair. I also couldn’t retrieve that list again after booking, but still remembered what to do. I prepped my hair, and went through an entire work day looking an absolute mess seeing my patients and having work meetings. Through that process alone of prepping made me really dislike the experience, but I still kept my appointment. For any professionals, I would suggest scheduling on a weekend. The salon was very nice, although is a little bit of a rough neighborhood, but nothing I’m not used to. When I first pulled up their was a homeless person digging through clothes. Again didn’t phase me because I am familiar with this neighborhood. My expectations of the salon appearance were met when inside. I was even offered champagne, which I needed by the end of it. I was hoping to at least get a color done, but was told my hair wasn’t healthy enough. I thought that was okay, fine I’ll save some money. She was nice and understanding to cut less of my “heat damaged ends”, but told me my hair would fall at my shoulder. Now I assume she meant at the shoulder when wet. Dry, it’s a couple inches higher thank my shoulder. There were some strands that were less curly than others. I couldn’t understand the discrepancy. When I went home and refixed my hair, it was curly all over as usual. Just a real miss on my expectations, and hard to swallow a >$500 bill when you aren’t happy. Anyways, if you have a tighter curl, I don’t think this salon is for you. I would suggest that the salon posts some examples of customers that are transitioning and maybe not with perfect hair to set lower expectations. I will try to stick with this journey and update on the next $500 visit. I still tipped $60. Very sweet girl, but I am still struggling to understand where my expectations were lost. It’s a rough day after, a little emotional after such a significant cut. It will take me a while before I am ready to do this again, and will provide another update. Just trying to give some of the tighter curled new clients a more realistic expectation.

Im an Asian male got braids with man hun from Amanda. I got compliments and looks from so many people. She is such a sweet lady and her braiding skills are top notch. Tight and very clean. She is meticulous she really got them magic fingers. I got my first braids a month ago from a different place and it was just a last min booking and my experience was not good. Braids were not neat and not very tight it came un done within a week basically. I initially wanted to get braids because I saw a man at the mall with really clean braids and he showed me Amanda’s instagram (@amandaxstranded). I couldn’t book her cuz she was all booked and I finally had my chance to book with her a week ago. She met and exceeded my expectations. That’s exactly what you want as a customer and I and definitely coming back to Amanda as a regular. Right now it’s been 10 days since my braid and it still looks good!

She has seen me through my curl journey from dry coils to moisturized, growing coils and everywhere in between. The salon environment is welcoming and has a beautiful energy just like Haiya! This cut just didn't do it for me. I do not recommend to people who have not C3 or lower hair. Perhaps its better for those above. Haiya was very uninspired and didn't seem like she had the energy to care but I saw someone else say perhaps she picks her favorite. She even discussed who she'd really like to 'cut and style' to her assistant without talking to me much. I didn't think the money was worth it AT ALL and I live in brooklyn. She posted the results on IG but also claimed she did my color - which I didn't say anything, but pretty shady to say you did another stylist's work. I only noticed because the stylist who did my color reached out to ask me after seeing it.
