Everyone was very nice. But I would never go back. They ruined my hair by taking all my highlights out. When I just went in for a touch up. I went back so they can fix it. And came out worse. My daughter went in the same day. And she came out with nothing different to her hair. What A waste of my hard earned money! And My hair was already blond. Not black not dark brown. Blond!

My stylist was really nice, but I paid $140 for it to look the exact same with extremely damaged ends. I wanted brunette chunky highlights. I was told we could do something like the reference picture, but maybe a little bit darker. I wasn’t expecting anything drastic since my hair was already dark. My before, after, and reference photo. I was extremely disappointed when I left the salon.

I got my hair from Kennedi, and she is doing so amazing!! 💗 This was my first time getting my hair done in the US, and I was nervous and anxious about explaining what I wanted to do. However, when I first walked into the salon, I changed my mind because the manager greeted me warmly, as did Kennedi. She is very respectful and keeps checking and letting me know each step. Also, she answered very kindly to every question I had for 4 hours! I learned a lot about my hair style today. It was an amazing experience, and the service quality is very high. I definitely recommend it if you want to get the perfect style you have always dreamed of. No worries if you are an international! It doesn't matter in this place. Kennedi is a magician!✨💗

2 major highlights for Heat°. First of all my haircut was fantastic and my stylist worked with me to create an androgynous look while thinking of future goals. Secondly, a different client had a health issue while processing hair and the entire staff reacted perfectly! Ems and parents were called and the energy wasn't panicked- just focused on taking care of the client. I highly reccomend Heat° for custom cuts and color and for the great employees.

After having a rough experience at a different salon I decided to give Heat a chance. Not only were they all super sweet and kind, but Kennedi did an AMAZING job fixing my hair and gave me something that I LOVED. I left the salon feeling amazing. I had a great experience and will forever be going back!

I got a Brazilian wax and she missed so many spots. Was not properly fixed even after I pointed it out. And that’s only my main complaint. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I’ve been seeing Rachel for about a year and every-time she does an amazing job. Beautiful cut and style. She has cut my toddlers hair did an exceptional job with him as well. Recently I had her take care of my eyebrows and once again I’m so impressed !

This week was my first visit to Heat, and I will be back! Had a full balayage, trim, and eye brow waxing with Rachel. My hair turned out amazing!! Rachel answered all of my many many questions with enthusiasm and explained in detail how to care for my hair. She walked me through what would or wouldn't work for color in my hair and gave me options without pushing me into a decision. It was refreshing having a stylist who cared about the end result and not rush through the appointment.

I highly recommend Rachel Harding. She has done 2 balayages and 3 haircuts for me, and they all turned out great. I tried out a few different hairstylists in the area before I decided to stick with her, and I used to get anxious before getting my hair done because all the other stylists were very chatty and I felt pressured to talk the whole time. I can actually relax and just quietly chill while Rachel does my hair, which I LOVE. Her scalp massages are super relaxing. She's also very knowledgeable and gives tips on style maintenance, and she doesn't try to upsell you on extra salon products that Heat has available (I went to Jillian Spear the first time that I went to Heat and while she did a great job on my hair, she tried to sell me on three extra salon products without solicitation and was a little abrasive when discussing alternatives). I did ask Rachel for advice on shampoo & conditioner once and she recommended the Kevin Murphy Hydrate Me products that they had for sale - I tried them out and they are the best products I've ever used on my hair. As far as the salon goes, nothing to complain about from me - lovely big windows, nicely decorated, always looks clean. The only downside is that the services & products are a bit on the spendier side, but you get what you pay for, so I'm still happy with it and will continue to return.

I was very nervous to try a new salon after moving to the area. However, Rachel made me feel very comfortable, listened to what I wanted, and checked in frequently with her progress. Not to mention she had the patience to blow out my thick and curly hair. Will definitely be coming back!

I booked a blowout for a wedding I attended in September (I am not from Mankato). I honestly don’t think the person I saw knows what a blowout is. I don’t recall her using a round brush and my hair was completely flat when it was dry. She asked if I wanted a few curls put in. I obviously did based on what my hair looked like. I had to go back to the hotel to fix my hair before I went anywhere. The back looked fine but she didn’t even run her fingers through the curls in the front so they looked like sausages. I should have said something at the time, but I was honestly feeling a little stressed and just wanted to leave. I get more body and curl when my stylist at home dries my hair after a cut. The salon seemed nice. The stylist looked like she just rolled out of bed with a top knot on her head. My gut told me that was not a good sign of what was to come.

Over a year ago I came in to get my hair done, I was three months pregnant and having a stressful pregnancy, all of the sudden while getting my hair done I passed out and had a seizure. When I say this was the most caring staff ever I mean it. They took such good care of me, called 911 gave me water used my phone to call my now fiancé. They called me a few days later to check on me the rescheduled my appointment and when I came in for my new appointment they had bought me flowers 🥺 not to mention my hair looked absolutely amazing. I think about their kindness all the time! I ended up having to move back to New Mexico with my family because of health issues. If I could teleport I definitely would see them all the time. Thank you!

You need to ask upfront what your price will be here. I have a shoulder length straight lob and asked for blonde highlight foils. I did not get a cut, and the style was just a blow dry. It cost 173. Be careful, and ask the stylist how much she will charge.
