I’ve been going to Renee for years and have recommended EVERYONE to her, including my mom. She’s the most dedicated hairstylist with a genuine love for her clients and service. I’ve always left happy and will continue to go back! I love how she cuts my hair, styles it, colors it, and listens to my preferences. I also love getting a Brazilian blowout from her! Such a welcoming salon and very fair prices.

I cannot overstate how much I love it here. Marissa has been my stylist for years. Ive had the privilege of watching her blossom at Haus of Chantel, cultivating an amazing environment for creativity with Renee and Amber. The professionalism and warmth all three of them bring forward is irrefutable. I highly recommend this salon.

I go to Marissa for my hair and they kill it each and every time! I feel so heard throughout the appointment and leave feeling better than ever, the vibes of this salon is top tier and everyone is so sweet🤍🤍 they host events that local vendors vend at and they truly bring our st. pete community together in such a beautiful way

I have been seeing Amber for all of my hair needs for the past 8 years! She always gets my hair just right! I was so happy when the Haus opened a couple of years ago and I got to follow her there. The vibes are *immaculate* and I’ve never seen anything but beautiful work walk out of the salon! Marissa and Renee are such kind souls and always so welcoming while I’m there!

I was so excited to get my hair done. Renee did my hair for the first time. I asked for a multidimensional cool toned brown color. Instead I was given a warm toned brown. I asked for the bob cut to be evened out and same length front to back. Instead my back was left about an inch longer. My excitement ended up with me going home and crying. I ended up doing my best to fix the cut myself. Update in response: I went to a consultation with Renee before this appointment. The only issue she noted in my hair was that it would fade quickly. But same day isn't really covering that. She never once said the color I requested and provided photos of was unachievable. Which would have been an easy thing to say if that was true and she wasn't just concerned with making an easy buck. She cites that I left the review on Christmas Eve, yes she did my hair the day prior and left it looking terrible for Christmas. She was more concerned with getting out of work and shoving her phone in my hand to tip her than giving me any time to look at the hair. Her leaving the back an inch longer than the front had zero to do with the state my hair was in on arrival. Hopefully my review prevents other people from getting ripped off by her. Texting with Renee was a nightmare. All her I would do this that etc yet then when I ask her to do it then she won't. She is just a liar with no accountability. Avoid this hair salon. Additional update: Renee deleted her original catty lying response. The current response is updated. Oh and she likes to threaten her LGBTQ clients who text her for the refund she stated she would give with police action after I had said we could talk in person at the salon. So it's wild that she is putting in her response that I should have talked to her in person. It was giving vibes the same as white women who call the cops on African Americans playing in a public park. Happy to share the texts so people can see how she truly is. This is the farthest thing from a LGBTQ safe space. Additional update: Sending texts to follow up on a refund after Renee said she would provide it after she did not is not harassment. No texts were sent after she finally provided the refund. So what she is calling harassment is an updated Google review based on her behavior right before the refund and her new response to my Google review. That isn't harassment and no one told you you have to keep updating. And the first text I sent her related to the refund was sent after her initial, now deleted response, to my google review said I should have contacted her. So uh what would most people do? Stating that I would come to the salon to discuss the refund in person where other people would be able to hear our conversation after Renee was being unresponsive to text and 2 weeks had passed isn't threatening. It's called working to get to a resolution and stating the obvious considering the size of the salon and that it would be during open hours. I'm well aware that stylists at your salon are LGBTQ, which is one of the main reasons I chose to come there in the first place, but that doesn't mean it is LGBTQ friendly. Threatening LGBTQ people with the police for texting you to get a refund you said you would give isn't harassment. It's also utterly disgraceful that you want to play the victim and call this harassment when some people have actually endured harassment in their life. You just continue to lie.

Marissa always gets me right! I adore being in this salon, I always feel so comfortable and Renee and Amber are so sweet too. Marissa cultivates such an incredible and safe space for her clients.

Marissa is my new favorite human being and the first stylist I’ve found that wasn’t afraid to really give me the shag and layers I’ve been looking for. If your alt phase never died (even if she has to be corporate appropriate now) this is definitely the salon for you

Got my hair cut by Renee and had such a great experience!! I showed a couple of pictures and I wasn’t super clear but she knew exactly what to do and made it look even better than I could have imagined! She has amazing talent. She was also suuper sweet. I’m so excited and thankful for my new look :) The environment was also very nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be going back and I 100% recommend!

Amazing people with great talent work here. Very LGBTQ+ friendly. I have seen Marissa for years now and will not go to anyone else. She can seriously do it all! From making my hair rainbow to helping me figure out a new alternative hair style. Definitely the place to go!

I came to get my hair cut by Renee and all I can say is everything was absolutely perfect!! She gave me the cut and & style of my dreams. The salon itself is so cute and vibey, and it’s just a bonus that she is so easy going and sweet. I will 1000% be coming back, can’t recommend her enough!

Renee is an amazing stylist.She helped me transition from color to gray in a graceful way. She listens to what the customer wants and suggests creative ways to make that happen. Amazed!! Never in my life have I had a better experience and had such a beautiful outcome. Today, I had the pleasure of having the owner, Renee, work her magic on my hair. Her experience really shined through when cutting my hair, custom, to my face shape, desired length and hair type. To top it off, her blowout at the end was so gorgeous… If you’re not already following all the stylists on social media, you should! They’re all so talented and up-to-date on the newest trends and methods. This is the place to go if you’re looking for a welcoming environment with people who genuinely care about who sits in their chairs. Amazing experience! So happy to finally found this place. The atmosphere is so funky and fun; you feel welcome since the moment you walk through the doors. Renee is the best hairstylist I’ve ever had! She went above and beyond my expectations; she was so knowledgeable giving me feedback on what will work best for my hair. She listened to every detail of what I would like and made it a reality!! It’s so hard to find a hairstylist that actually listens to your hair concerns and helps you out not just to get the results at the salon but also what you can do at home for great results. I can’t recommended her enough!!! Definitely will be back regularly!

The salon is funky, stylish and welcoming! The owner and partners are incredible human beings. So kind and fun. Renee is an amazing colorist who truly is dedicated to loving her craft and making people feel their absolute best! She has been working with me on going totally gray from years of box dye and bad cuts to embracing my age and new texture of hair! I love it! She is an educated and amazing stylist! Went in for the first time today & I was welcomed in by Amber who immediately offered me something to drink & her beautiful golden retriever. I got my hair cut and styled by Renee. She is so knowledgeable & easy to talk to. For the first time I finally felt like my hair stylist listened to me. I’m grateful to have this salon so close by & will definitely be coming back!

ABSOLUTELY ADORE RENEE!! My favorite hair salon. Every time I visit, my hair looks absolutely amazing. I get my roots done every 6 weeks, and she always makes sure that the tone of my hair is cool & always makes it to how I love my hair !! Amazing service, and environment!!
