I got my sew in done by Diamond. She was very sweet and gave me exactly what I asked for. I scheduled my appointment for 1 and she was ready and waiting for me as soon as I walked in. The hair salon is clean and had a calm atmosphere.

I had the pleasure to have K do my hair. She was very professional and kind. I went for a wash and a retwist for my starter locs, K was very gentle and was quick. I loved the atmosphere here. I noticed that K is very caring and made it her business to make sure I was comfortable while getting serviced. I will definitely be coming back! I found my permanent loctician! ❤️

Today was a great day, I had booked an appointment with Kay and did the smedium knot less braids, and I have to say it was great experience. She was very welcoming and understood what I wanted and it also didn’t take the time that I thought it would. I was out of there in record time. Saying all of that I will definitely be back, and I would also like to shout out her other braider who helped and finished everything for me she’s amazing too. ☺️☺️

Diamond was absolutely amazing! This was my first time getting a closure sew-in, and she did an exceptional job. She has such a warm and kind spirit, and I truly enjoyed chatting with her while watching her work her magic. My hair looks fabulous thanks to her skills! I highly recommend booking with her—I already plan to return in four months!

I had my wires crossed and booked the wrong style. Prisca (aka K)needed to move my appointment. We made it work. K is delightful, super sweet, and finished my boho braids in record time. These ladies are lovely and I look forward to coming back.

The best!!! They fit me in on short notice and Aminata (sp?) managed to do a gorgeous set of box braids, even though my hair is very short. So happy with how they turned out and will definitely be back again

K is amazing. She knows exactly how to style my hair. Not everyone can do stitch braids and all the other styles I like. Some people will lie and say they can do it, but they have no idea what I'm talking about. K is the only one I trust with my hair.

Was in town for an event this weekend and decided to book an appt for some biho knotless. This was my first time coming here and my first time getting boho. I booked with Leo and she was amazing. I got there a little early, so the shop wasn't yet opened and I got worried. So much research to find the right braiding spot, spirits don't let me be wrong. Leo washed, prepped, blow dried, and braiding my hair. We took a short meal break and I was happy that she was caring for herself. She is the gentlest braider I've ever experienced. Every braid felt good going in. No pulling, yanking, nothing. At one moment, I noticed her gently teasing a knot out of my hair. I felt so cared for. Other braiders have yanked my hair apart as a solution to knots. Like, ma'am, relax. My hair doesn't even tangle like that. Tranquila. But Leo was just.... I haven't been able to stop praising her. What a treat. Total was ~ $300 for wash, dry, boho knotless. Website was easy to navigate. Booking easy and intuitive. And calling/texting were easy and prompt replies. Will come back next time I'm in town.

Had a great experience, I was lucky enough to book with Kay herself. She super professional. And given my accommodations she worked well around it all, to give me what I needed and to make me comfortable. 10 out of 10 would recommend and well definitely be using her from now on.

I’ve been here twice for a silk press and then knotless braids. They do full service so I got a wash, dry and they have braiding hair in the salon. Amazing service and my hair always looks great. All the hairdressers are so nice and they let me pick a few movies to watch.

0 stars if I could. I booked a same day silk press in accordance with their calendar. I paid my $30 deposit and took their rigid rules seriously. I arrive on time and instead of a pleasant and professional greeting, one of the women sucked her teeth when I said what I was there for. Then they stalled and kept me under the dryer instead of communicating professionally to let me know they are short staffed or don’t keep up with their calendar. #supportblackbusinesses.

Good evening everyone and god bless y’all, first of all Today was my first time coming MS K for stitch braids and she did amazing job, second of all MS. K was very sweet and her shop is very clean as well , what i love about her is that she kept asking me if i was i ok with my hair style and she also kept asking me if i was comfortable enough, the fact that she a beautiful person and kept asking me if i was ok or not its what make me like her more, I highly recommend anymore to her and too she was so neat and took her time with me and my hair i can’t wait to go back to her..: thank you MS. Hairstyles by K is truly a gem. I drove all the way from Queens to get my hair done here. A hairstylist canceled on me last minute before new year and I happened to find this salon on Instagram and surprisingly there was an appointment on Sunday, December 31 which was very accommodating. Ms. K and the other hairstylists in the salon were very welcoming. Ms. K started on time and asked me how I was doing. She had amazing work ethic and never really took any breaks in between doing my hair. She did a wonderful job on my hair and asked me multiple times if my braids felt OK and weren’t tight. She offered water, tea and wine. The salon was welcoming and my hair came out perfect and exactly how I wanted. It was very refreshing to be in a hair salon that was professional, had great work ethic and treated the customers with respect. I will only go here from now on for braids or any other natural styles.

I came all the way from Queens to this shop because of all the glowing reviews I saw here and on Yelp and they did NOT disappoint at all. K was very sweet and very professional. Never in my life did I think I would ever braid my hair but I decided to give it a try and I couldn't be more happier with the results ❤️. I would definitely recommend this spot to everyone. In Brooklyn for a few days and needed to get this hair together. The salon is cute and has a good vibe. Della did my hair and she did a great job! I got A press and it’s nice and shiny and laid. When i come Back to nyc i would Definitely come here. Everyone was very pleasant. I came A bit late as well and they still let me keep my appointment so i am Very Grateful for that! Their braids also look really good. Give them a try

I’ve been a client of the shop for almost a year and a half. From day 1 all the stylists have been professional, on-time, and on point with my braids. Great place for a variety of men’s styles and they use nice products so I never leave with excess build up or a dry scalp.

Just want to start out by thanking Ney for such an amazing service yesterday(Sunday) . I love how my braids turned out. The booking was easy due to the instructions listed before the booking on the website , I was offered refreshments twice during my service(but I declined.. I had ate before the service) , and there was overall constant communication from braider/ stylist throughout the service. I even got a nap in. The parts are very neat and all products used smelled soo good. Everyone was very polite and had a positive attitude. Definitely will return for another style. I’ve already recommended some family members. Thank you.😊
