Melissa is amazing! I am so happy I found her and she provided a wonderful salon experience. From consultation to styling, I was educated on my curls and their health. I also received follow up techniques and tips to be able to care for my hair at home and finally enjoy my hair at its true potential.

My curls never looked so good until I came to the hair peace salon. I love how Melissa listened to my hair struggles and goals and then educated me on I can improve/maintain my curls at home. I use the products she recommended and now I’m so happy with how my hair looks. Will definitely be back!

Someone very close to me recommended Melissa to me because of her wonderful and professional reputation and she more than lives up to it! My hair left in great condition and now I know because of Melissa's knowledge how to better care for it. It was amazing care and I got full knowledge on how to make sure it stays healthy and happy. I have been looking for a hair dresser who knows wavy/curly hair for a a few years now and I finally found her!! Melissa is by far THE best hair dresser that I have ever been too! She is not like any other hair stylist I have ever met. She makes sure she educates you on the best products for your hair, how often you should have your hair cut and the best way to style your hair for YOUR hair type! She even videos your appointment so you know exactly how to style your OWN hair. Some people may be discouraged by the cost of the first appointment but I assure you it’s worth every penny. I was absolutely in love with how my hair turned out and look forward to finally knowing how to take care of my curls. I’ll definitely be back in 10 weeks for my trim. I can’t not thank Melissa enough!

Im in my hair growth journey and my curls have been growing in so nicely with the hair products and routine melissa told me to follow. They dont make people like her anymore! I've been a client at Hair Peace for over 5 years now and have always been blown away by the level of service, care, and attention Melissa gives to making sure that I'm a happy and educated customer. She is professional and friendly and truly listens to my hair concerns/desires and beyond and makes every effort to address them and/or solve them with recommendations and home care instructions. She's very skilled in her craft at making my curly hair look amazing, with the best curly girl shape for my hair and face. She spends time in making sure the color is exactly what I want and what she knows will be best for me, while suiting my lifestyle. I always get so many compliments. Scheduling is a breeze, although she's in high demand so be sure to plan ahead. Her salon is always clean and inviting and during COVID she went above and beyond to keep her clients safe and I really appreciated that. I would drive 2 hours to her salon being confident that it's 100% worth the trip. Melissa is such a lovely person and talented stylist. You'll be in good hands here. Highly recommend!

Melissa is wonderful, knowledgeable and very professional. I had a couple of bad hair experiences before I found her. Let me tell you that third time’s the charm because I’ve been going to her since August of last year. I love that she cares about the health of your hair. It’s hard to find someone that knows how to style/manage curly hair without feeling ashamed and a burden to some hair stylists.

My experience at Hair Peace Salon with Melissa was nothing short of amazing! I needed a reset on haircare knowledge and my hair needed some TLC. I walked out with that and more. Melissa is very thorough, knowledgeable, kind and professional. I left with some great tips, new professional level products and a video as a resource for my at home hair care (what!!!) She is truly a gem and I will be definitely be back for my trim soon.

Let me start by saying my hair stylist moved to a different state and I had been bouncing around for 9 months trying to find someone who understood my hair type and each time I was disappointed, so I decided to try a search online and came upon hair peace salon by Melissa, I am so happy I did. She is so professional, very warm and welcoming, the ambiance of her salon is soothing not to mention the perfect hair cut that suited my facial features. Melissa has certainly mastered the craft of the hair care industry. I will always go back. I already booked my next appointment. The shop was very clean and the stylist very professional. My daughter and I both have natural hair and Beverly did a wonderful job styling us both without using chemicals or excessive heat. Updated Review: I returned to the shop and Melissa did my hair. But first, she throughly and patiently educated me about the journey to healthy hair. I appreciate that she genuinely cared about me and my hair AND the cut and style were on point!!! I left feeling inspired and unafraid to do the work it takes to have healthy hair.

Would 100% recommend Hair Peace Salon to anyone. Melissa did an amazing job with my hair. I really needed some help to bring my curls to life and I left that salon feeling confident and happy. She’s obviously very knowledgeable and skilled and really takes the time to get to know your hair and help you understand it, too. She totally went above and beyond my expectations. Getting blessed by Ms Melissa was the best form of self care I could’ve done this year. I waited until my third visit to leave this review in order to ensure my praise didn’t stem from my infatuation with a good cut or a new stylist. This place is the real deal!!! I tried to diy my naturally curly hair based on bad internet advice and social media pictures (which are usually wigs by the way). Trying to save money I reaped what I sowed resulting in damaged, tangled hair that shed twice as fast as it grew (Ugh!) I even went to a local stylist—twice, but felt the services were mediocre at best. I also felt insulted when the stylist ignored my style request and did what she thought was best for me. When I contacted Melissa, I was at a fork in the road: should I cut it all off or start a new hair journey? I’m so glad I chose door number two. When my first appointment was a 30 consultation, I was hopeful. After the first salon visit, my natural hair not only looked great but it felt lighter and more radiant than ever. I even got a personalized video about home care and maintenance. My friends can’t believe the difference in not only my hair but my self confidence. I’m so happy I found Hair Peace Salon. My hair has gone from unruly to the versatile crown of beauty it was meant to be. Thanks Melissa.

Melissa is so knowledgeable and real! I went in for a hair assessment and haircut and left with not only the perfect haircut but so much knowledge on how to keep my hair healthy and growing! Melissa is such a amazing person to work with, and she is the BEST at what she does. As a virgin natural hair girly, I wasn’t sure how my hair would feel after such treatments. But, My curls feel and look better than they did at the start. As a first time hair model this was all new for me. Melissa listened to my likes and preferences for color. I am so HAPPY with my new hair! The color is spot on for my skin complexion, and my preference of having highlights of blonde. My name is Emily and I have dark, curly hair and wanted to go blond. Having gone to other salons with bad outcomes and experiences, in spite of prestigious names, I was driven to find the BEST salon. When Covid hit, I started my research because I knew there must be a way to go blond without damaging my hair! After an extensive search, I found Melissa and Hair Peace Salon. Melissa is a perfectionist and expert in bleaching and coloring. I finally got healthy curly blond hair without damage. I drove an hour each way, but it was worth it! Too many salons operate like a factory. They move you in and out and just take your money. Someone like Melissa is a rare find. I am soooooo happy to know that a salon like hers exists!!!
