It is a horrible place to get your hair done and to work at. The manager and assistant manager should not be managers. They can not cut hair nor do any other service. Couldn’t even do a basic straight haircut. They treat their employees horribly! I could say so much more about this establishment, the managers, and District leader but I won’t go into any further details.

Hairstylist "Dani" did a horrendous job with my husband's hair. She complained the whole time about his hair even though he always wears hats and never had issues with other stylists previously. It is a stylists job to fix whatever and NOT COMPLAIN. The hair is now long in some places and short in other places. She was very aggressive, buzzing his hair felt almost like jabs. He has a job interview and now he has to go another shop to fix his hair before the interview.She has a thick eastern european accent, had communication issues and absolutely was not taking any advice. Do not go to this place and certainly do not ask for Dani. Absolute waste of money.

Schoene did another great job of cut and color. She always takes time to listen and consult and I've never been disappointed. We've gone from blonde to auburn and in between and this time she gave me some fun highlights for the holidays.

Ashley showed up 15 minutes late to my appointment. Never acknowledged I was there. The stylist cutting someone else's hair told her I was waiting. I decided after waiting l5 minutes and then being ignored I didn't want my hair cut there after all and left.

Two haircuts and two bad haircuts. The first time I went in, I literally had to explain what a mohawk was and simply to shave the still very short part back down to the skin. Multiple areas were missed, things were uneven, it was not to the skin as requested instead a blade guard was used. I chalked it up to one bad stylist and tried again. Different stylist, same terrible results. Sitting in the chair I even pointed out that there were spots that were missed and the woman still couldn't get it right. It's not that hard. I do my friends, I just can't do my own but I might learn how after this mess

I left crying. Asked the stylist to simply curl my hair for a wedding I was attending that day. The stylist that curled my hair was so rough! And it looked absolutely awful when she was done. I couldn't have hated it more...

I sat on my experience for 2 days and I am so sad and anxious about my hair. I wanted blonde highlights with an ombré purple shadow root. She told me she didn’t know how. I said no issue, just do blonde highlights. I showed her the inspo pic and all was well. My hair now is 3/4 different color. There’s some blond streaks, my money piece is brown now and I have no freaking idea how that even happened. I didn’t ask for that so i don’t know. There is orange splotches throughout my hair, there is some blonde but not even close to what you asked for. There’s yellow, and ash blonde/brown. If she couldn’t do the blonde, I wouldn’t have wasted money and left. I wanted the blonde (more so shadow root but I’m not mad about it) and left when she was done and paid out. Sad part is, I was so so happy my first time there. I loved Layton. He was great, gave me when i wanted. i brought someone back with me because of the great experienced i had before. wont return ! I posted pics bellow. Before pic, inspo pic, after pics and one pic is bottom of my hair because she didn’t want to do that section. Pics just don’t do it justice.

My daughter got her hair stuck and they spent 2 hours on trying to get that out for her. That means the world to me as a single dad with no hair. Haha. 💯

The person that did my hair was so nice! I was a natural blonde and wanted to make my hair lighter with highlights. He understood that I was nervous so we didn’t change much. Only $103.00!

I had highlights done and asked for a pretty unique haircut yesterday and WOW. I am amazed by Dani’s talent and how she was able to do exactly what I wanted. She is absolutely amazing and super talented. Ask for Dani when you go get your hair done ladies!

Not at all what I asked for. Way too short. My natural curls are gone and the color is not much different at all. The lady was very nice...but I am going through a nasty divorce and spent my last 120 bucks for something I'm not at all happy with. So sick now 😪 I trusted you to get what I'm accustomed to....so upset. UPDATE. WAS REFUNDED. THEY MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR ME TO COME BACK AND LET THEM FIX THE ISSUE. WAS JUST TOLD NOTHING SHE CAN DO? BUT SHE'LL PUT SOME MORE BLONDE IN AFTER SHOWING HER WHAT I ORIGINALLY WANTED. THEN SHE SNAPPED AT ME "COULD YOU STOP BEING RUDE" ..I WALKED OUT. THIS GIRL WAS RUDE! TOLD ME "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT"...AFTER SHOWING HER AND ANNOUNCED TO EVERYONE "MY BOSS REFUNDED YOUR MONEY, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO" I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. YOU THOUGHT WAS RUDE? I RESTRAINED FROM BEING RUDE!!!!! SOME NERVE AND A WASTE OF MY TIME!!

I went in for a haircut and I instead feel like I got beat the hell up. She was insanely rough with my scalp and things are STILL uneven. Also, 23 dollars for a buzz. A BUZZ! Nothing fancy. The Razor's Edge in Harrisonburg will buzz my hair and put product in for 12 dollars. Plus their conversation was always A+. I went to a hair cuttery once years and years ago and they made me uneven, plus it took the woman WAY too long and I swore never again. But my regular barber wasn't open and I needed the mop OFF my head so I booked here. How bad could it be? They can't eff up twice can they? Reader, I'm here to tell you that yes they can. Customers talk with their feet and my feet will never bring me back to a Cuttery ever again. I still tipped well and went on my merry way.
