Not everyone knows how to work with coarse hair, but Videlia accepted the challenge so gracefully. She is very knowledgeable in her field and knew exactly which products would work best for my hair. It showed—my hair was silky smooth after she blow-dried it! Just as she took care of my hair, she took care of me. She made sure I was comfortable and provided wonderful service. I almost fell asleep while getting my hair washed, which was just what I needed after a long day at work! 😅

I recently had an incredible hair appointment at Hair by Videlia, and I am thrilled to share that my amazing stylist, Videlia has moved from upstate New York to Connecticut—just like I did! It's been such a relief to have my trusted stylist nearby again, especially after making the move myself. As always, Vide exceeded my expectations. She knew exactly what I wanted and provided her expert touch to ensure my hair looked fantastic. It’s comforting to know that even though we both relocated, Vide continues to bring the same level of skill, care, and creativity that made them my go-to stylist back in upstate NY. The new salon in Connecticut is stylish and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I left the appointment feeling confident and delighted with my new look, just like I always did before the move. If you’re in Connecticut and looking for a top-notch stylist who knows how to deliver amazing results, I can’t recommend Vide at Hair by Videlia enough. It’s wonderful to have her close by again, and I’m so grateful for the continuity in my hair care.

I have very thick and wavy hair. I've found many hairdressers have trouble working with it. However, Vide always understood exactly what I wanted in a haircut and delivered! I felt much better each time I got a haircut from her. She did a great job of taking the bulkyness out while still maintaining the length I wanted. She also faded and helped maintain my undercut as part of the haircut. I am very happy with the service Vide provided and definitely would come back for more!

I've been getting my hair done by Vide for over 10 years, and I can't recommend her highly enough. Her precision in cuts and colors is unmatched compared to other stylists I've been to. She is kind, welcoming, and a great listener who always understands exactly what I want. Her expertise goes beyond the technical aspects of hair; she has an incredible talent for understanding her clients and their unique needs. It was great to meet Videlia for the first time! She is incredibly sweet and talented. She enquired about my goals and made insightful suggestions to improve what I was attempting to achieve. Finally, I got the nicest hair color I've ever had, was really pleased with the outcome, and I will definitely be seeing her again!

Vide has been doing my hair for as long as long as I can remember. She cuts my hair a few times a year and I go to her anytime I have a wedding or an event to blowout and style my hair. 10/10 would recommend!

Vide is an absolute master of her craft. After not finding the right fit with a stylist for a few years I was introduced to Vide and never looked back! She made me feel so comfortable in her chair for every appointment, whether it was a trim or a full transformation, we had a plan and a vision. Her balayage technique and seamless blending gave me the perfect lived in feel, elevating my look but being super low maintenance! Vide also did all of the girls hair for my wedding, from updos, to braids and everything in between, everyone was absolutely obsessed with the outcome!

Videlia does beautiful work. Whenever I’ve told her what I’m looking for she perfects it!! I’ve been going to her now over 10 years and have gotten services from hair cuts, blow outs, waxes, highlights, full hair color, glosses, and more ! I’d recommend her to all🙏🏼❤️. She also does my daughters hair and has since she got her first hair cut!

Videlia has been an amazing hairdresser! She takes so much pride in her work and the quality of every client's "final product". I have been a client of hers for over 6 years and plan to continue. One testament of how well her skills are is an example that will always stick in my mind. I had my hair cut and colored before I moved to Florida in October of 2019. Since I had family still in the area of her salon, I figured I would come back and get my hair done but COVID hit and I wasn't able to come back until January 2022. I didn't have a single person touch my hair in that timeframe, not even a trim. My hair color stayed and grew out so well and naturally that no one even believed me when I showed them the transition photos. Her techniques and way of blending color to look so natural and grow out so seamlessly truly will blow your mind! She is always working to improve her skills and learn new techniques and I love how much I can trust her when I sit in the chair and say "do whatever you want"! She never disappoints me and I walk out of the salon. I feel she truly changes my life with every visit and helps bring back the confidence within me! If you are looking for someone to reignite a spark within you, she's your girl!

Videlia is a gem. She is kind and patient, she listens to what you want and makes suggestions on how to reach that style that is just for you. She takes her time with coloring and styling and explains to you what she is doing and what she plans to do, all along the way. She never dissapoints, a true professional. I have never had such healthy hair.
