Highly recommend! 😊 Sunny at Hair by Sunny gave me the perfect trendy, natural wavy perm—effortless, full of texture, and damage-free. She also gave me a trim that complements my short hair while allowing it to grow out easily . Communication was smooth, as Sunny is fluent in both English and Korean. I simply showed her a picture, and she nailed it! She uses Korean hair products that leave my hair feeling healthy, soft, and lightweight. Best of all, no styling is needed—just a quick comb-through after washing, and it dries perfectly in place. Low maintenance, high style—and so many compliments! Absolutely love it! ❤️✨

This is my second time getting my hair done with Sunny and it was absolutely wonderful! Sunny is so pleasant, friendly, and gentle. She nailed my vision of a layered, razor cut and made it come true so perfectly. I feel like she really paid attention to the details and was meticulous with the blow drying/styling to make my hair look truly great. I like that there was a peaceful silence as Sunny was working on my hair but we also had good conversation in between. I love Sunny and the new salon space is so clean and beautiful!

Ms Sunny is so friendly and warm. She cut my hair so efficiently but also with great care and gave me advice on products to use to help my hair get healthier, as well. I will definitely return to see her

Super happy about the haircut I got from Ms. Sunny! I showed her a reference picture and she did an even better job than the picture I showed her. Ms. Sunny is also very sweet and gentle when she was doing my hair. She showed me how I should style my hair afterwards and gave me good advice on how to upkeep it as well. I'll definitely come back in the future for another haircut :)

I got balayage and was thoroughly impressed! I don't typically color my hair and was a bit nervous, but Ms. Sunny met me for a consultation and put me at ease. Hair color also came out beautifully with zero damage! ❤️ Also brought my small children for their haircut! Ms. Sunny was so patient with my fidgety children. Thank you so much Ms. Sunny!

Sunny is such a sweet and caring person, and she has a true gift when it comes to hair!! I have never left without falling in love my new hair, and my family trusts her for all haircuts! She knows exactly what she's doing and she's such a warm presence. I would 100% recommend her especially for bangs and layers!!

Edit (in response to the owner's response): My apologies if I weren't clear. I did not EVER get a haircut from you because you cancelled on me both times. The first time you cancelled my appointment, you gave me a different reason than the one you just posted, so thanks for changing up your excuse publicly to make me seem like the unforgiving customer. The second appointment that you just cancelled on me hasn't even passed yet, so if you're open that day you cancelled on me, then I'll know you just cancelled my appointment to fill someone else in. So there is no "as you know" or "you are happy with your haircut." In fact, there will be no "see you next time." If there was a genuine screw up in your appointment book, a genuine second apology would have sufficed instead of indirectly making the customer seem heartless for giving your business a bad review. For that, I changed the rating to 1 star. Looking at the pictures, I’m sure I would’ve had an amazing haircut—had my appointments not gotten canceled twice. Three stars because the first time it got cancelled, I got a personal text with an apology and a good explanation.

First time going to Sunny and she was very understanding and friendly! Not only that but she was very knowledgeable about hair and it shows in the work she does. I will definitely be coming back!

First time leaving a review for haircut, purely because of how amazing the experience with Sunny was. It is not easy finding an excellent male hair stylist, especially for Asian hair. Very personable yet professional, worked me into her schedule by working late but I never felt rushed. Discusses different styles and recommendations to one's hair/face and desires style. Needless to say I will be returning to sunny for all future hair needs even though I am out of state.

Sunny is one of the best hairstylists I have ever known. I am always very happy with my haircut and her tips for taking care of my hair has always helped me. She is awesome and I have and I will always recommend her to friends and family 😊

Wonderful experience today with Sunny. She is amazing and I'm so happy with the results. Definitely recommend. I got a men's perm and she knew exactly how to do it just from a few pictures.

Sunny is wonderful and I'm so happy that I found her. I gave her a reference photo of a men's fade to zero and she adapted it to my hair very well; she was very patient and a perfectionist and her technique is very good too. It's hard to find good Asian barbers in Maryland and for the price I think it's really worth it.

Great overall experience with my daughter and self. I’m glad I found her and I finally have a hairstylist I want to consistently go to, I can’t wait for my next haircut! Ease of making an appointment online is also a plus.

Really enjoyed getting my hair cut by Sunny! I appreciated how she was very careful with my hair and explained each product before using it; she is very knowledgeable about both Asian and Caucasian hair. She is very personable and I am grateful that she accommodated me despite her busy schedule. I love how my hair turned out and will come back in the future!
