Got the best haircut of my life from Meaghan! I asked for 90s layers that are face framing and work with my thick/somewhat wavy hair and Meaghan knocked it out of the park! Meaghan was extremely pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. I could not recommend her more and will be coming back again!

I LOVE this place! I usually get my hair cut by Katie and Kayla, and they're such great stylists. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for anything from coloring to a simple cut!

I have been coming to the salon for about a year, after I moved here from out of state. I have been to a few other salons in the area, but as a blonde, we are verrrry picky about who touches our hair. I trust this salon, and Meaghan with my life. The salon itself is extremely clean, and everyone who works there is very welcoming. It’s a funky, goth vibe, but even if that’s not your thing, you still feel so comfortable. Meaghan has brought my hair back to life, and it always feels so healthy when I leave. I’m a natural blonde that has been through the blonde color wheel, and now I’m a redhead. Though out whatever I wanted, Meaghan never pointed me in the wrong direction, because she truly cares about her clients and isn’t just looking for their $$$. If you’re new to the area, or just want a change, I would not recommend anywhere else.

Meaghan has been coloring my hair for about three years now and she is a master vivid colorist and stylist. I've tried a bunch of different shades with her and love the results. Plus she cares for and protects my hair so it always feels good. And she helps me extend the color on my own between visits because she is awesome 😎

This place is awesome. It was recommended to me by word of mouth, which is always the best. I went in for a consultation, because I was nervous about the initially drastic cut I wanted without having met any one of the stylists. The vibe of the place is great - I love purple, and there is lots of it. It was a welcoming, safe, and vibrant feel. After the consult, I made an appointment. My sister's graduation was this weekend, and due to an unanticipated incident, it seemed like my appointment wasn't going to be able to take place. Meghan, the owner, personally responded to my call and treated me as if I've been a loyal client for the past ten years. She told me she'd take me the day after, at 9am. I never get up before 11AM, BUT THIS HAIRCUT WAS WORTH SETTING AN ALARM FOR!!!! She is an incredible artist, that's how I would describe my haircut as - art. She listened to my whole spiel about what I wanted, was patient, and never rushed anything. I often find an urgent energy before my cut as I explain what I want, but that didn't exist with her. She asked questions, gave follow up tips, and was so friendly and flexible. Great conversationalist as well. I feel confident, happy, and the way I was treated like a long term loyal customer is most likely going to make me one!!! Thank you again Meghan, and we can't wait to check out the Crystal Ballroom.

Brit is an absolutely amazing hairstylist and a complete gem of a human! I ended up not having to get my haircut for six months because of how nicely my hair grew out, but I always love going back and getting a refresh. The salon itself is super inclusive and welcoming. I love coming here!

I love this salon. They do great work, it's affordable as far as salons go (I got a full cut and style for $80), and the vibes are impeccable. Cool, witchy, gay decor, and the only salon I've ever been to that plays rock and metal on the speakers. I'll be going back for sure!

Time and time again Brit continues to give me the most incredible haircuts of my life! I love how the haircuts make me feel in my body and how the cut evolves in its grow-out period! Brit always listens eagerly to my wants and/or concerns when it comes to my hair. They have always made a haircut in their chair so incredibly comfortable and approachable. Brit’s energy is contagious, their skills are unmatched, and the longevity of the cuts keeps me coming back to Brit!

Brit is absolutely the best. I’ve been following them for years from salon to salon because no one cuts hair like they do. I have super super curly hair and have had horrible experiences with people who don’t know or like working with my hair texture. This has always made me feel uncomfortable sharing my hair desires (I want COLOR…but it’s unrealistic for me to keep up. I want to do a funky shag…but I only cut my hair once a year). Brit completely vanished that for me, every time I visit them I feel completely taken care of. They’ll listen to my needs and wants with no judgement. They’re totally cool with whatever my hair journey is and we’ll work to getting to what I want (yes to color! Yes to low maintenance!). Plus my hair looks absolutely amazing, they know what they’re doing when it comes to do curls! I don’t even know the hair magic they work to get it looking and staying that good, even when I style it at home. I sincerely look forward to getting my haircut knowing I’m in capable and welcoming hands - thank you Brit!!

Every time I leave the salon after a cut from Brit, I feel more like myself, confident and beautiful. Brit listens and communicates thoughtfully their plan for your hair. They can take in ideas and references and make magic happen on your head so it’s exactly what you wanted but better! I have thick curly hair which has a mind of its own but Brit uses dry cutting and awesome layering to give me a shag that feels appropriate for Stevie Nicks. Everyone there is super kind and welcoming. Highly recommend the salon and Brit 😊

Gosh, I love this place! It's such a VIBE! Katie is doing my hair for my wedding in November and we had our first session today and it came out just ✨🤌🏻 We're doing a sunset color melt and she is SUPER knowledgeable and also so much fun! I love Hair at little Harlow! I was recommended by some friends to try it out and, it was so worth it! I was very nervous going in because I have never gone to a salon before. I was immediately greeted by the ladies working there. The atmosphere is so welcoming and Décor is so cool! My artists name was Katie and she was so amazing to me. I was overwhelmed and we talked about what I kind of wanted and pretty much left it in her hands. I got a full head of blonde highlights and a cut/blow dry . I was so pleased with her professionalism and her compassion during my visit. She definitely knew what she was doing and I left feeling so beautiful. I can’t say enough good things about my visit and honestly, I can’t wait until my next appointment!

I met Britt Shields through a recommendation from another mom at my daughter's preschool. I really liked the person's hair and Britt was her hairdresses. My experience meeting Britt was a great one. You can feel her good energy but even more importantly, her talent. She gave me the best haircut of my life! No color or anything extreme, but the haircut she gave me actually made my hair stop falling out and I look a good 5 years younger. If you're looking for a talented hairdresser, look no further. Katie has been doing my hair for 10 years. I adore her. Her cuts always make me feel fabulous, and her color work is creative, unique, and polished. I leave Katie’s chair feeling like the most true expression of myself 100% of the time - I can’t recommend Katie and Little Hollow enough. The salon has the friendliest and most professional stylists, and the occasional dog visitor is always a plus as well!
