Moved to Katy two years ago and needed to find a new hairstylist. My boyfriend actually found Amara on the internet and I fell in love with her work after the first time! I came in asking for bangs and a brand new haircut, but I’d never had bangs before and was kind of on the fence about it. Amara gave it to me straight and met me in the middle with curtain bangs. I am so glad she talked me off that ledge! It came out looking better than I could have imagined. She gave me her honest opinion to any question that I had and even told me how to style my new curtain bangs. She is very candid, professional, and fantastic at what she does! I have been highlighting my hair since I was about 13 (just turned 50) Amara is easily the BEST colorist I have ever been to!! She always explains how the process works and sets very clear expectations. She also cuts my hair and I have never had a cut I didn’t love. Amara also cuts and colors my 17 year old daughter’s hair, which always looks INCREDIBLE!! Go see Amara, you will not be disappointed!!!

I've been going to Amara for years now. I've always been so happy with the color and cut. I've received so many compliments on my hair. She also takes great care to put the health of my hair first. My hair can sadly get damaged very easily, but it's been so healthy since I've been going to her. I highly recommend going here!

If you are looking for the best blonde specialist in Katy and the surrounding areas, this is it! I have been going here for a while now. It understandably took a few visits to achieve the amazing blonde I have now, as well as the continued up keep of every 6 weeks. My blonde is so perfect and I love it so much! I am never disappointed and I always feel so refreshed leaving the salon. She is also so personable and it’s always a nice visit. 10/10 recommend, especially for blonde!
