I’m from out of town and was in desperate need of a haircut. I stopped by here before heading back home and I only had to wait probably 5 minutes before they could cut my hair. It was to my shoulders or longer, and I was getting a lot cut off but the woman who cut my hair did a fantastic job! I showed her a picture of what I kinda wanted, and she went right to work and did excellent. This is probably the happiest I’ve been with any haircut I’ve had. I would definitely go here again if I’m ever in the area again.

Shame on yall!!!! This morning, I went in to get a haircut from the Great Clips in Nashville, TN in Melrose. About 5 minutes into the haircut the technician tells me she cannot proceed to cut my hair because I have lice. She gets a second opinion from her coworker who confirms I have lice. I repeatedly asked her, "What do I do now? This has not happened in 15 plus years? This makes no sense?" She responded by telling me I have multiple in the back of my head and top of scalp, and that I should go ahead and check my eyebrows, eyelashes, and pubic hairs... She told me where to buy the lice kit and then showed me the one for $45 at the front desk. They escort me out of the store, BUT before exiting she rings me out at the cash register. As I was too frazzled and shocked to argue on why she is making me pay for my haircut that she did NOT do, I swiped my card and ran out of the store. I am crying wondering how I am going to tell all the guests that have been to my house in the past week or two along with the people I live with. I trusted these women because they are HAIR stylists! Good thing for a second opinion...I made an appointment with CareNow for a lice check. I wasn't able to get into the appt until 2:45. I felt silly when the doctor told me lice is of no concern and that I have a dry scalp and dandruff. I return back to GreatClips to show them the clinic summary and proceed with the haircut. She does not refund me, but she gives me a haircut. Another lady in the store asked for proof and after reading the summary, she rolls her eyes and walks away...how rude!!!!In conclusion, I did not receive a refund. I had to pay $25 at CareNow to have a lice check! I am beyond appalled at how unprofessional this situation was handled. I am also in shock that your staff failed to differentiate dandruff between lice. This is common sense to many people let alone a hairstylist whom I'm sure have been taught the difference. I am glad I went to get a second opinion and chose not to trust the staff at Great Clips. I saved myself from spending money on treatments, and a lice lady to eradicate them from my home, I also saved myself the hassle of washing everything I have touched in the house!

Jasmine ( not sure if I spelled it correctly) was an excellent stylist. She cut my clients' hair exactly as described. We will be returning.

Don't rely on their online check-in process, they put up a poster saying they're closed when I can see them inside. I drove all the way to their store, they even sent a text message to come right in and then closed the door to my face. Edit: reached out to their customer service email which replied that they'll email the location.

This specific barber that cut my hair just has a know it all attitude and does things other than what I ask for. this time, she shaped up my beard without asking and it looks weird right before my birthday dinner. Last time, she blended my hair too high and it was horrible. The other barbers are solid but this short african-american lady just won’t get you right.

I only go to the Hermitage TN location. From bad experiences the first thing I do is make sure someone there understands what I am looking for. I loved my haircut considering I had about 5" cut off. No more headaches was the goal. Great people! Relaxed environment and not a long wait.
