Have been there before for haircuts never had a problem but this last time hairstylist was one of the worst I’ve ever had, I am very unhappy was a waste of time and money not going back at least to her, though they hired experienced people…. And owner will respond same way to everyone

I just left here and had the worst haircut experience. The person that is next to Robin on the right side when you walk in cut my hair so short and so uneven. It is embarrassing. It is like she couldn’t get it straight so she just kept cutting. I finally told her to stop because it was so bad and just kept getting shorter. I know there are great stylists there…but this stylist is not one of them.

Had a haircut with Diana Navarro. Probably the most impersonal, awkward, and weird haircut interaction I’ve ever had. The stylist cutting hair next to me seemed very nice, asked questions to her customer and I really wish had her instead. I won’t be back to this location.

Came here 30 min before closing and was refused a haircut as a walk in. Debbie was very rude to me and argued with me when I asked for a manager But she finally told me was. diana. If you guys are open you should not be refusing your customers. Walk-ins are supposed to be welcome.I feel unwelcome coming to this location.Do not come here.I do not recommend anybody to come here unless you want to get treated like this. I also don't expect anybody to contact me or make any correction to this incident.I had to deal with very unprofessional and bitchy old ladies.

Diane is the best! She kind understanding and dies EXACTLY what you want. All you have to do is be sure to tell her exactly what you want. If you want it longer in the back, you tell her if you want it shorter on the side, you'd tell her and ask her to show you after she cuts a little bit and she will, she's very patient and a great stylist! When you go there, ask for her, if you have to wait, it's worth it!!

Saw Chelsey (or Chelsea?) for the first time - gave me my first adult set of bangs and knocked it out of the park. Made me feel like “one of the girls” for the whole haircut, felt zero pressure, and even gave me some tips on upkeep. I’ve never been so comfortable at a salon and I’ve never been happier with the results. My new place for sure!

As a disabled customer who uses a wheelchair, customer service and accommodations are important and necessary for me. Jen, a stylist at the Power/McDowell salon in Mesa, AZ is the most accommodating, professional, friendly, and helpful stylist I’ve ever had. She’s the reason I’ve been going to this location for over 2 years. 5 stars

After the disaster I had a few months ago with one of the hairdressers wanting to argue with me on how I want my haircut. I decided to give this place another chance hoping to get another hairdresser. But didn’t hardly make it in the door before the same lady that I had a bad experience with before popped up. I checked in online had 6 mins left before my haircut time when I walked in the door. She checked me in then it jumped up to 30 minutes wait. I asked why and rudely she said 2 other people showed up before you and checked in. That’s the way it works. I took my business elsewhere and won’t be back to ant great clips.

Debbie cut my hair this afternoon. We had a great conversation and she gave me a great haircut with scissors. She also trimmed my eyebrows and the hair on my ears. Thank you Debbie. I’ll see you in about a month.

Decided this evening at 7pm that I really needed to get a haircut that I had been putting of way to long. Jump in the car drove 3miles up the street and parked. I didn't expect anything super special and what great service I received. Best haircut I have had in years , sideburns neck and eyebrows all cleaned up. I left there in a whole different mood. I felt great and my look made me more secure and my stylist was great company and fun conversation. Can't wait for it to grow to return.

I had a horrible experience with Debra on 6/17. I called the day before to make sure they were capable of trimming a pixie cut. I showed her a pic of myself from about a month ago & told her my milestone bday was coming up next month. I also asked her to not spray my hair with water for texture reasons i need to be able to see what's being cut. She proceeded to tell me she can't believe how much grey I had & I was making her job harder by cutting it dry, she also told me she's been cutting hair for 23 years. She clearly was in her feelings because she destroyed my hair. She cut my entire head of hair no longer than 1.5 in ling. She then used the thinning shears on the ends of my hair which is not how you thin hair. I was in disbelief, I walked right over to Sally's to buy hair dye to try to cover up the horrible outcome. If I could post a pic without showing my face I surly would. Ladies do not trust this woman with your hair. 6/22/2023- 2 days later no communication from the salon owner to attempt to resolve this issue. 6/24 still no communication from the owner. 6/26 still no communication. Guess its time to contact the AZ board, BBB, and Great Clips headquarters (this location is franchise) *see pics on yelp*

I signed in online and was able to get in 45 minutes later. Diana was very thorough taking measurements of my hair for future reference. The cost was $18 which I consider very reasonable so I will keep coming back.

Worst hair cut ever. Hair stylist had no clue. Should have gotten up and walked. Going tom morning to get it fixed. Not there. Not all staff are bad, just the one. Sad.
