I had an unfortunate experience at this location that has made me decide not to return. I checked in online shortly after 11 am and was estimated to have an hour long wait. I requested a text notification of when to head to the salon, which I received at 11:59 am. The text said that I would be up in about 15 minutes, so I began driving there at 12:02 pm and arrived at 12:14 pm. However, at 12:12 pm (only 13 minutes after receiving the text), while I was waiting at a red light to turn into the parking lot, I checked the app and saw that I was no longer on the list. When I walked inside and tried to finalize my check-in, they said that I had arrived too late. I explained that I'd arrived 15 minutes after receiving the text, which told me I'd be up in 15 minutes, but they insisted that I was too late. They also said that they had called me and left a message--which was true, they called me at 11:57 am, just two minutes before I got the text, but I missed the call. Regardless, I arrived precisely 15 minutes after receiving the text which said I would be up in 15 minutes, and they had removed me from the list at least 2 minutes before I was due to arrive. The staff was polite but firm that I was too late. I have no complaints about their politeness. They were not rude, nor was I. However, they absolutely would not budge and they would not acknowledge the fact that I had arrived on time according to the text. They also mistakenly claimed that they called me three times, but I showed them on my phone that I had only one missed call from them at 11:57. I believe that they were too quick to remove me from the list and instead of admitting the mistake, they insisted that I had arrived too late--clearly not true according to their own policy. When I read the FAQ on the Great Clips website, it's very clear that the expectation is for clients to arrive 15 minutes after the text. They even say that you MAY still have to wait longer, and that if you arrive too late, they may move other clients ahead of you which could extend your wait time. But instead, this location simply removed me from the list at least 2 minutes early and insisted that I had to check in all over again and wait for another hour. A quote from their website: "salons will keep customers on the waitlist for a bit of time in case customers run a few minutes late. The salon may remove your name from the waitlist if you arrive after your estimated check-in time." But I arrived EXACTLY at my estimated check-in time and I saw that they removed me from the wait list BEFORE my estimated check-in time. Unbelievable. I cannot reward this poor customer service and mismanagement of their check-in system with my money. I tipped 30% every time I went to this location, but in the future I will take my generous tips elsewhere.

This was one of the worst haircuts I have ever received. It is so unbelievably choppy and uneven, I could’ve done this myself. Didn’t even get a blow dry before she shooed me out of the chair and couldn’t even see how my hair looked until it was dry and I was home. Literal tears down my face so so disappointed!

Came in 20m till close. Was told they don't take any more walk ins past 530. I know that is not the case as the website would still let me book a time. I didn't, as they obviously wanted to go home early today.

I just went to the salon and it was 10 minutes before closing. Online says that you can walk-in before close time. When I walked in they said that they were already closed and had cleaned up and were not taking anyone. I asked if there was any way someone could do a quick dry cut and was told again that they were closed and there was nothing they could do.

I usually get a good haircut at a decent price, but yesterday I got a terrible haircut. The lady acted like she was in a huge hurry. She was rough, and has little attention to detail. She trimmed one eyebrow but not the other. She trimmed one side of my neck but not the other. She didn't remove the collar wrap to trim my neck. My wife is going to try to correct these issues today, but not what you expect from a professional. I am traveling tomorrow and don't have time to go back and have them correct it.

Turned us down? My girlfriend had a big tangle in her hair, 75% of her hair was perfectly fine, yet the shop flat out refused us. Very dismissive & Told us we’d have to cut it all off. Made my girlfriend cry. Took her to SPORTCLIPS and a young blue eyed girl there did the right thing! Took her to the back & washed her hair/detangled it in 15 minutes. And got a large tip also. Shame on great clips for making a 25 year old girl cry due to pure LAZINESS, yes I said it. :)

I did not even get my hair cut after waiting 30 minutes 😒 it was a bigger white lady that had short hair shaved on the sides( wich I wanted to compliment because it looked really nice) she was rude from the very start. After she got smart with me I realized I didn't want her to touch my hair. It was an awful vibe I'm glad Im smart enough to walk out before any real damage was done .

This place is an absolute joke. If you go here expect these retarded women to destroy your hair. Worst part is, your going to wait 45 minutes for the atrocious haircut you will receive. Despicable people here.

After a year and half of being in this Covid lockdown (that's what I referred us in was lockdown) I finally bit the bullet and went in to cut my long thick hair back short into a pixie. At age of 55 I have never had anyone cut, thin the thickness out and do the cut correctly on their first try. On this day, that all changed. I visited the Great Clips in Hot Springs and the. The manager, Ashley Tarlton, cut my hair and she gave me an awesome cut. My hair has always been super thick, and now especially as grown out & as heavy as my hair had become. **Kudos go out to ASHLEY TARLTON, she is smart, she is kind and she is honest with a personality thats quite contagious I am very much pleased with the outcome. Thanks great clips for staffing such great hair dressers. See before and after cut pictures. One of the photos was pulled back in a ponytail just before entering Great Clips while the other was taken directly upon leaving the shop. I had long hair and wanted my hair layered and framed around face to my shoulders. I gave the stylist a picture and she seemed to understand but barely glance at it. She didn't ask what length I wanted before she quickly made her first cut. She cut my hair to my neckline and just below my ears. I told her this is not what I wanted., My daughter who was next to me said it wasn't like the pic but looks like a bob hair cut. It took less than 10 minutes to finish which is fast. Never again, nothing great about Great clips

Very disappointed today! I’m a regular at this Great Clips! I leave at least a 5$ tip every time, most of the time 10$! I was running behind today! So it was 440 before I got to the store! Plenty of time for a quick trim ! I get my hair cut every 2 weeks so it’s usually quick,fast ,in and out 5 mins maybe 7 if the take there time! There was a chair open but her excuses was she was to tired to cut my hair! Now I get coming in at the last min but your a business! With all the tips I’ve given and the amount of money I’ve spent at this place you would think the would have some loyalty! I will be finding a new place to cut my hair! That just left a bad taste in my mouth ! Plus on top of that there is only 2 people there that can cut hair good!
