I was out of work and in physical therapy for 6 weeks with slow progress. My son in law recommended Dr. Doug. I got adjusted 3 times and my PT started getting better results. Even the PT was surprised lol. Highly recommend this chiropractor if you are in PT. Helped me get back to work !

I absolutely love Grand Rapids Wellness and get my weekly acupuncture here, and have fond done so for the last 12 years. I love their new building located right off East Beltline, on Eagle Run Drive. You sometimes can get Saturday appointments as well!

Do not allow him to adjust your neck. He cracked my neck and put my atlas out of alignment. The day after the appointment I had extreme vision changes, blurred vision, dizziness, numbness in my hands and feet. I went back to him and he said nothing he did could have done that. I believed him and went on a medical journey that lasted a whole year. After I went through CT, multiple X-rays and no one could find anything. I saw a neurologist, neuro-opthamologists, physical therapists, osteopathic manipulated medicine specialists, no one could figure out anything until I finally found a professional that figured out my atlas was over corrected and I had a traumatic brain injury from the first chiropractic adjustment. I went through a year of unnecessary radiation, pain, and an inability to work because of his negligence and I am still not healed. I would give 0 stars if I could. I now suffer from difficulty swallowing, balance issues, vision issues, numbness in right side, my body forgets to breath sometimes, and tremors due to a serious brain injury from this adjustment. Please save yourself the pain and go somewhere else.

Dr Doug is the best. He spends time to understand what the problem is and he is always learning new techniques. He has a lot of different ways to find a solution. Plus he is an expert in probiotics and vitamins. Everyone on the staff is really nice.

Everyone is amazing and so caring. I suffer from trigeminal neuralgia and they all have been so great and helping me find comfort and healing. I will have trigeminal neuralgia the rest of my life, I have been so happy that they have been so great at helping me with my pain.

I saw Dr Doug because I was experiencing a lot of lower back pain from something I did while swimming. He gave me excellent adjustments that resulted in huge pain relief for me. I was having terrible neck pains from an old injury and Jesse sorted me right out. She is seriously like a healing magician. My neck feels better than it has in years - and I had been seeing different acupuncturists before, and massage therapists, and taking pain medicines, using a bunch of adaptive braces, and almost 3 years of PT total, so she's definitely got a magic touch compared to all of that! HIGHLY recommended for neck pain.

I've been a patient for several years and I highly recommend Dr Doug. I have longterm effects from a car accident and I have a lot of problems and a lot of really sensitive joints. I've been to a lot of chiropractors over the years and Dr Doug really stands out. He is really committed to my health and what he is doing works and keeps me moving with much less pain.

I’m in the early stages of acupuncture treatments under the knowledgeable and compassionate care of Kristin. I have multiple trauma and extensive chronic pain resulting from a near death car accident and other traumas and she is actively seeking every method of care to ease my emotional pain, reduce stress and restore my damaged body to its optimal state. She explains each approach with patience and kindness. In the part 2 plus years, I’ve received care from various talented PTs & OTs, but there remained this pervasive missing piece that was untapped and holding much pain and discomfort. I believe that Kristin is the missing piece to my puzzle & look forward to healing under her capable hands.

This was my first experience with acupuncture, and even though the prices were high I thought I would give it a shot. Dr Robb was very professional and the treatment effective. However after a scheduling error I was told I would receive a discount, which after spending over $400 I believed would be more then 10$ off for the inconvenience. Unfortunately I will not be returning to GR Wellness.

I just had the most incredible experience with Grand Rapids Wellness. I have been suffering from debilitating lower back pain after an aggressive fall and I couldn’t get an appointment with my regular chiropractor. I have been calling around all morning and finally saw their number come up. I called and the girl who helped me on the phone was so sweet and accommodating. She got me an appointment within twenty minutes of my call and was so empathetic of my pain. I was helped as soon as I arrived. There were no xrays required and minimal paperwork. Dr. Doug was unbelievably kind, knowledagble, approachable, professional and effective. He immediately found the source of my pain and dramatically reduced it in one adjustment. I feel so lucky to have happened upon his practice and I plan on making it a part of my regular health care. He just truly was so amazing. Even the gentleman that helped me as I left was so kind. I’ve honestly never felt so cared for in a medical setting. I don’t think I’ve ever posted one of these reviews, but I just felt so compelled leaving my visit today. If you’re in search of a chiropractor in our area, I highly reccomend this place. I’m elated that I found it.

I live in Los Angeles Ca and have gone to several Chiropractors and massage therapists. But every time I visit Grand Rapids I come here... Great results and always fun. Yes fun! I was so impressed with the chiropractic and massage results I went ahead and tried acupuncture as well, even though I am close to being needle phobic, and that was amazing too! It is obvious that everyone here are true specialists who live and breath their work. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

They usually overbook appointments, so if you arrive on time they will see you 15-25 mins after your scheduled time. Doug is like someone else described him kinda pompous, pretentious. He pushes people through.

I had an appointment for a one hour full body massage with Kacie Welch, and I must say, it was the most professional and thorough massage I have ever had, from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. I will definitely be returning, and would highly recommend service this to any and all.

I was experiencing terrible upper back pain from a sport related injury. It was a huge relief that Dr. Doug and the team at GR Wellness were able to get me scheduled that day for an assessment. After a couple of adjustments I noticed significant improvement. Most of all I appreciated the effort by Dr. Doug to educate me on what was causing the issue and how to prevent similar injuries in the future.

Office staff is extremely friendly and professional, My chiropractic appointments with Dr. Doug are helpful along with informative. I really appreciated the explanation and the open answers to my questions. I also decided to try out a massage from GR wellness. It was relaxing and refreshing. highly recommend!

As a distance runner, chiropractic & massage appointments have helped me get my stride back. I took the whole year off running in 2016 due to foot and knee pain... not this year! I started treatment at the beginning of January 2017 and already have seen positive results. I'm looking forward to running in the Riverbank Run this year (pain free!).
