I only give 5 stars because it doesn't let me give 6! My neck and shoulder have been making life miserable. Stephanie has been able to get me functioning again. I found Stephanie and Grand Rapids Massage Therapy by chance, when I was in desperate need of a massage but no one seemed to be open during the holidays. As someone who has extreme tension in my jaw, neck, and shoulders, getting in to see her felt like it was meant to be. I’ve had countless massages over the years for the same issues, and she’s the first who addressed certain areas in ways that really made a difference. I’m definitely sore the next day (which is normal because I love deep tissue work), but I have more mobility in my neck and my jaw doesn’t feel like it’s perpetually clenching. I will definitely be back very soon!

I witnessed an alarming incident involving Stephanie while walking down the street. She appeared to confront and physically assault a passerby without provocation. After the altercation, I noticed that she dropped her business card, which identified her as a massage therapist. This discovery was surprising, given the severity of her apparent anger issues. I would advise exercising caution when considering her services, as this behavior raises significant concerns about her professionalism and temperament. After speaking with the pedestrian who was attacked, she shared a photo she had taken of Stephanie just moments before the incident occurred. I’m including this detail as further confirmation of what took place. Stay Safe Grand Rapids!

I was happy to find Stephanie and able to book my appointment online easily after having difficulty getting any available appointments elsewhere. Stephanie was pleasant and the location clean, professional and easy to find! She took the time to speak to me about my pain, previous problem areas and concerns. The one hour deep tissue massage was not only very relaxing and thorough but I had noticeably less pain in areas that usually cause me problems for days when my body is acting up! If you are looking for a massage therapist that can offer you the treatment your body needs and overall relaxation, I highly recommend Stephanie at Grand Rapids Massage Therapy!

I went here for the first time today for a deep tissue massage. She took the time to sit and talk with me about problems I have been experiencing and history of injuries before the massage and didn’t make me feel rushed. This has been one of the best massages I have received. I definitely recommend going to see her for your next massage.

My husband surprised me with a prenatal massage for my birthday and it did not disappoint! I’ve been to other “luxury” spas and despite this spot not having the aesthetics these large spas have- the quality of the massage was above the luxury spas through and through! Stephanie was soooo good at targeting spots of tension and providing me not only with relaxation but also so much needed therapy on my tight muscles! I’d much rather spend my $$ here than the larger spas!

This was an amazing experience for me from the start to the end. From my initial greeting to the end of my massage. It was incredible how she could sense my energy and lead me through a guided meditation while massaging me and I was relaxed instantly. She gave me a gentle massage and asked me if her touch was the right amount of pressure. I was at ease throughout. I received a deep massage yesterday that relieved a lot of tension in my back. Today was a pain-free day. I still feel a bit sore, but overall I feel good. Stephanie is very skillful and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend her. Great attitude and attention to detail. I also appreciate the fact that she texted and asked me how I was feeling today. I have no doubt that I will see her again.

Although Stephanie is a great massage therapist, she is not great on the phone. I called to get clarification on a charge unknown to me and she responded in a harsh manner and made me feel belittled. I didn’t appreciate the two interactions on the phone, both starting with me being polite and her responding in a condescending way. I understand where she’s coming from but she can sound a little fed up and impatient on the phone. I wish i would’ve been treated with kindness.

I just started a two week staycation. After my first day, I woke with horrible back pain and I really wanted to cut it off before it got worse. Stephanie happened to have an appointment and I was able to get in. She quickly identified the problem areas and set to work on them. She was able to relieve the pain and helped me out immensly!

I sought out Stephanie's services as a Michigan Licensed Massage Therapist to help me address my posture, neck stiffness, reduced movement and neck pain. She did an excellent job in identifying that posture alignment involves the total spine and pelvis. Met with Stephanie for the first time in hopes to get loosened up a bit before the start of the school year, and was very pleased! She was inviting and direct; interested in finding out the best way to help in the timeframe. Firm and consistent pressure all the way through the massage; conversational without overstepping. The massage was great, but I appreciated her knowledge of physiology, and her ability to identify and communicate what is going on with my body. Stephanie is a very kind and caring massage therapist. She listened carefully to my concerns, asked clarifying questions, and offered clear answers to my questions. I went to her for pain relief and I’m happy to report that the massage did alleviate the discomfort quite substantially. She found other areas of discomfort and explained alternative methods I could use to help. She is efficient, professional, friendly and very, very good at what she does! This was my second visit with her and I plan to continue on with her in the future. Well worth the cost! A comfortable office with lots of parking in a good, easy to find location.
