Ayana is AMAZING!!! I did my first sugar wax here and it was a little far so I tried different places and I wish I had just made the drive instead of trying those places because nobody compares to Ayana and her work!! 👏 She talks you through everything and is very welcoming and calming. She’s so good, I drive an hour each way just for her 👏 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 👏

Ayana is everything! She is the literally thee best. 10/10 would definitely recommend. I love how comfortable she makes you feel, and she will do her best to accommodate you! She definitely got me right, as I was long overdue, and is excellent at what she does, making sure to get every last hair! Plus she educates you to give you the best tips on how to care for your skin. I love her all-natural sugaring process because it doesn’t leave me with any type of bad skin reaction, which has happened before with regular waxing. Most of all, Ayana keeps everything super clean and sanitized, which I am huge on, so that was the biggest plus for me, and makes me feel safe going to her knowing how high her standards are, just like mine. Lastly, great conversations with her too <3. As long as Ayana continues to do sugaring, I plan on always returning!

Ayanna performed my sugaring Brazilian wax yesterday and I’m beyond impressed ! This was one of the best, if not the best Brazilian’s that I’ve ever experienced. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable and informative but she also has a beautiful personality! This was my 1st experience with sugaring and my 1st time meeting Ayanna and she made the experience extremely enjoyable. At no time did I feel that weird awkwardness some might experience on their 1st time getting a wax. Recently I lost my brother and my mother so my grief has been extreme. I thought my sadness would prevent me from interacting with her however that was not the case at all! She’s so personable and friendly that I instantly felt comfortable with her. I will definitely continue sugaring with Ayanna and I’m looking forward to trying all the other services she offers as well !

I went to Ayana for a microblading appointment on Tuesday. Ayana is one of the most talented people in the industry bar none. She is also one of the most kind people I have ever met. She performed this service on me as a "model for older people who get their eyebrows tinted as a more permanent solution. I was nervous but totally excited! She is so gentleness professional and her work is like that of an artist. I made the mistake of freaking out when I had just got them done and nervously asked if I could do anything to ,make them less noticeable because I was not used to them and did not wait for the proper length of time to process. I am on day 3 and already they look Perfect!! I want everyone out there to know that if you need any of the several services she performs done, schedule an appointment Ayana! She's truly th e most talented andpofessionalave ever met! My daughter goes most sugaring and will never go to anyonore but Ayana. I wouldgive her more than 5 stars if was permitted. Ayana, you are truly the Best tHANK YOU SO MUCH!

When you visit Ayana, you realize how much care, patience, and kindness you’ve been missing out on at other waxing services. This was my first sugar wax. I’ve been to a variety of waxing specialists who leave you in the dark during the session, rush through the service leaving you feeling whiplashed and potentially injured, and charge you an amount that would imply exceptional skill— which is very often overpromised. She is as professional and skilled and she is personable and comforting. Waxing, especially the more intimate areas, can be really intimidating and leave you feeling vulnerable. She puts your mind at ease by talking you through the whole experience so you are as involved as she is in the process. She values thorough technique and care and wants you to feel confident during, after, and the weeks in between your sessions. I can’t recommend her enough and after my first visit she’s definitely earned my loyalty as a customer! On another note, if you’ve been getting serviced with synthetic wax, make the switch to sugar! It’s less painful, more effective, and gentler on your skin!

Ayana is amazing! I've been going to her for about a year now and she is so gentle and gives great education as well. Ayana works quickly, makes me feel comfortable, and is never judgmental. Sugaring is such a gentle hair removal method and she has perfected her craft. for me, less painful than waxing and way fewer ingrowns. Ayana ran a few minutes behind on an appointment once and clearly communicated this (before my appointment time even started) and even took something off the price. A true professional!

I was very eager to get sugared, as Ayanna came highly recommended. However, as I know many other women will understand, cycles can be very unpredictable. As I was preparing for my appointment just a few hours before, my cycle came on early. I immediately messaged Ayanna and sincerely apologized for such a short notice and was hoping to reschedule and not be charged FULL PRICE. Yes, I was very aware of the booking policy (mind you it doesn’t include anything about cycles) and was even preparing to leave 45 minutes in advance to be on time for my appointment. She unfortunately did not accommodate me, advised that I can wear a tampon in order to be serviced (not every woman is comfortable/can wear tampons). I informed her that I would not feel comfortable getting sugared on my cycle. She then went forward and charged me the full price for the service that I did not receive. I suggested that moving forward, as a female conscious business, they should accommodate women and their cycles; adjust their booking policy so that it doesn’t penalize women for an unpredictable bodily function. I have been to other waxing & sugaring businesses that have been more than accommodating for women on their cycles, offering cancellations and rescheduling without charging. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable especially after she tells me, “When people cancel, then she misses out on money.” That showed me that she does not put the customer first. I do hope that the policy is adjusted in the future.

My last experience was not as great. I'm giving 3 stars only because when I go to the owner, Ayana, my experience was great. However she has been completely booked and I decided to give her new partner a try. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she wasn't very friendly. First time meeting her and I was in the room at least 4 to 5 mins before she even introduced herself. Not to mention I still have stubble left on one side. I also didn't like that my time was changed by 15 mins without seeing if it was ok. I recently moved about 50 mins away from the location, so even a 15 mins time change can pose a problem. Don't know if that was her fault or system issue, but never had this happened before. Needless to say, I won't be back unless I can get in with Ayana.

This business is unprofessional. They are not considerate of women bodily functions i.e. the menstrual cycle. If you were to unexpectedly have your cycle, you are still expected to get waxed even if you are not comfortable. If you are uncomfortable with getting waxed while on your period, you will still be charged FULL PRICE even though you did not receive a service. This is inconsiderate considering everyone is not comfortable bleeding on a wax table or wearing a tampon. It is wrong to penalize women for bodily functions that they cannot control. Women bleed (sometimes unexpectedly) and we cannot control that. I expected the business to be more considerate considering they cater to women. Will not receive business from me or any of my friends. Would suggest they adjust their policies to include menstrual cycles so future clients can have a full understanding before booking.

It was my first time ever being professionally waxed, and I can not recommended this establishment enough! Just received my second waxing today, and it was just like visiting a friend. I found out about Glogeous Beauty Bar on google because I was looking to get sugared for the first time. I was about 6 weeks postpartum and I was a little nervous because I have a low pain tolerance and my previous waxing experiences were very painful. Ayana was so nice and very knowledgeable. She talked me through the whole thing and it went by so fast and the pain was very bearable. Her working area is also very nice, clean and relaxing. Hands down the best hair removal experience I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to book my next appointment!

I loved my experience at the GLOgeous Beauty Bar. Ayana was so sweet and guided me through each step of the process. She was very patient with me, as this was my first time. And for the end result? BABY PLEASE. It was phenomenal. Everything is super smooth, soft, and prickly-free I’ve never been sugared before, but it was worth it (and trust, it can be painful). I definitely cannot wait to go back. You won’t go wrong with Ayana!
