Ashley and her assistant, Jamie, were an incredible team. From the trial to the day of, Ashley used her talents to make me feel like the most beautiful bride. As guests complimented me on "looking amazing" my only response was "I FEEL AMAZING." I appreciated Ashley's professionalism, and time management, she kept the morning flowing to ensure we were ready on time and could get the party started! Thank you, Ashley!

Gina did my makeup (as the bride), my 5 bridesmaids and the MOG for my wedding. She was incredibly personable and made the process fun. She did a great job making everyone look beautiful and natural. I had the best experience working with Ashley for my wedding! As amazing as her talent is with hair and makeup - her efficiency and ability to work quickly and so effortlessly is even more amazing. Ashley’s presence in our bridal suite was something i’ve never experienced before ~ she was so calming and relaxed and flexible when we needed a quick change or touch up. I know staying on the timeline can be stressful but Ashley had PERFECT timing all morning - truly could not have gone smoother. I wouldn’t change anything about my getting ready experience with Ashley 🫶🏼

Wow! There are not enough words to express my appreciation for Glam and our HMUA Ashley! We had 10 people (including the bride) receiving both hair and makeup services. Ashley completed our party’s hair and makeup herself. She did a FANTASTIC job. Everyone felt and looked amazing. What was even more impressive was the speed at which Ashley completed our looks. We were done within 5 hours of her arrival, and her speed did not diminish the quality of her work or the longevity of our hair and makeup. Everyone in the bridal party could not stop commenting on how fast Ashley worked but the quality of her work as well. Thank you Ashley!!!! I would definitely recommend Ashley and Glam for your wedding day hair and makeup!

I wish Ashley (owner) was more personable and got to know her clients. Her services are not cheap, so it shouldn’t feel like an in and out drive through. There was no care to know our hair types or skin types. She disputed a financial charge with her helper in front of a client because “she was training her.” Save that for later. I was happy with my hair and make up look in the end. I was not happy with my daughter’s hair (very curly) and make up (eye shadow, mascara, blush, lip color) What she did, I could have done myself and saved the $150. Overall, I personally won’t be using her services again because being personable with your clients is very important to me.

So far I have just had my bridal make-up trial with Gina but she was amazing! (She is doing my make-up, as well as 5 bridesmaids and 1 mother for a wedding in October. Will update the review then). Gina was incredibly knowledgeable and talented with make-up. She matched the reference photo perfectly. She was personable and made the process fun! Highly recommend!

Ashely does hair and makeup that are long lasting and beautiful!! Ashely did hair and makeup for myself, three bridesmaids, and makeup for my mom. I had originally only booked her for two makeups and three hair, but had built in enough of a buffer that she was actually able to do makeup for all my bridesmaids and we were still ahead of schedule! When she initially provided her timing estimate I was honestly nervous because it was less than averages I had seen online but she truly is incredibly efficient and professional as many of her other reviews say. My makeup looked beautiful in person and in photos and it lasted all day and night long through all the dancing and partying!! I did an updo and it also stayed all night without any issues. After my hair and makeup trial I took detailed notes on tweaks I wanted for the wedding day, and day off we quickly walked through those and everything came out perfectly! My bridesmaids all looked so beautiful and were very happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. My mom’s makeup was a little heavy for her since she doesn’t wear any makeup normally but Ashley worked with us to make some adjustments and she was happy as well. I would highly recommend Ashely and would definitely work with her in the future!

Ashley is a true professional! She delivers excellent what she says she will! She is also agile and flexible when rendering her services. We had a last second add to our hair and makeup the morning of my wedding and she was still working within her timeframe. Ashley is a clear concise communicator and knows her industry well. Ashley is just amazing at what she does and I highly recommend her for all makeup and hair needs for your wedding! Her calm and confident demeanor let me chill knowing she had everything under control. My bridesmaids could not stop raving about how efficient she was and what a wonderful job age did. Ashley is so talented. My sister booked Ashley for her wedding 5 years ago and I absolutely loved my make up then as a bridesmaid, so I knew I wanted Ashley to do my hair and make up for my wedding too! She was very communicative the entire process and the trial was seamless. Since I have monolids, it is hard to find a make up artist who knows how to do make up for Asian eyes. I loved that she was able to give me a glam look that looked natural at the same time. She is also very quick and efficient which is a plus especially on wedding day when you are on a strict timeline. Everyone's hair and make up came out perfect! I absolutely loved my hair and she was able to incorporate my hair pin beautifully! Highly recommend her for your wedding!

Ashley was AMAZING! From contracting to wedding day everything Ashley was so much fun to work with. Ashley worked so efficiently she did 8 hairstyles and 6 makeups from 830 AM to 1130 AM. She was even able to add an extra bridesmaid for hair services on the day of. As a bride, I loved my makeup and hair, and all of my bridesmaids looked gorgeous. Everything lasted all day and night! I would recommend her for anyone, and one of my bridesmaids actually already booked Ashley for her wedding!

Ashley was amazing!! Her prices were fair and she helped 9 women get hair and makeup done in 4 HOURS! I didn’t think it was possible when she said she could get it done in the time promised, but she delivered without sacrificing quality. Very happy with how it turned out.

Ashley was so incredible to work with! She was flexible, so quick to respond, and so sweet. Above all, the quality of her work was impeccable!! She completed 10 hairstyles and 9 makeup looks within 5 hours!! All by herself! Everyone looked gorgeous and the makeup and hair lasted all night. I don’t even know where to start! Ashley was AMAZING to work with. All the way from the initial inquiry until the day of the wedding. I did a trial run with her and she listened to everything I asked for! It makes the day of much easier since she already knows what you want or any adjustments. Her skin tone matching is on POINT. This is something most makeup artist struggle with on my skin tone but she killed it! I have to admit I questioned her 15 minute per service but she IMPRESSED me. I had 10 for hair and 9 for makeup and she completed everything within our agreed timeframe all on her own! We even had time for touch ups at the end if needed. As long as everyone is ready for when they are called and no last minute add ins, she will complete everything in the agreed upon time! She is a literal queen! All of our makeup and hair lasted the entire time even after the 5 hours of dancing. Do yourself a favor and book with Ashley! You will not regret it!

I hired Glam Bridal Beauty for my wedding this spring after it was recommended to me by my regular hairstylist. Ashley was amazing--from being responsive to all of my questions, flexible with changes in service, offering competitive prices, and providing great service. My bridal party and I are not big makeup wearers, but Ashley was great about advising makeup application to pop in pictures (which to her credit, turned out amazing!). Ashley was fun to work with, professional, fast (everyone was finished their hair and makeup early!!) and even dodged DC marathon traffic to arrive exactly on time the day of the wedding. I highly recommend booking Glam Bridal Beauty for your wedding!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Ashley on 10/15/23. She was punctual and incredibly speedy which really helped with our timeline. Even so, our air brush makeup and hair (8 bridesmaids and mother of the bride) stayed ALL NIGHT! What a fabulous deal. Her braid up-dos, and braids in general, are just simply gorgeous. We loooooooved Glam Bridal. Half of my bridal party is black and half is white. The owner, Ashley, is so good with all skin tones and types. We all felt like celebrities. I did not want to take my makeup off at the end of the night. WOW! I felt like a glowing bride and I still looked like myself. Loved loved loved the experience. Ashley is so professional, warm, and friendly. She makes the process so smooth and all in timely fashion! Highly recommend!

My best friend was married on 11/11 in Frederick and she hired Glam Bridal Beauty for the wedding parties makeup. Ashley Chin was our makeup artist and she did an absolutely phenomenal job! We had 10 girls that needed makeup done and Ashley finished each person in only about 10-15 minutes or less. Each look was stunning, the quick turn around times did not compromise the quality of her work what so ever. I was very impressed and our bride was more beautiful than ever! 10/10 Recommend!

The dream MUA! Ashley is so incredibly talented, efficient and kind. She did the hair and makeup of my bridal party and two moms in under three hours. I don’t know how she does it but she is a makeup and hair magician!! The bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. I loved my bridal hair and makeup as well! The makeup stayed throughout the entire day and night despite the tears. The hair also stayed up through rain and dancing! I cannot recommend Ashley enough.

Unfortunately I have to post a review about Ashley, because her service was just horrific and left so many people unhappy. She continously misunderstood texts and left me feeling more stressed than I needed to. We hired her for my wedding from 6:30 to 9am for 9 people. The final person had not shown up by 8:30 and she was huffing and puffing about how she would refuse them service if they didn't show up in the next 10 mins, even though they had already prepaid and left a tip in advance. She ignored reference pictures and did what she wanted. Everyone’s hair took about 10 mins each and was falling apart. I was the bride and had people adding more bobby pins and hairspray after she was done. We got her a room for the night and she refused to let us come to her room to get ready because it was her "personal space," even though two makeup ladies on the job had no problem with this. We realized it was personal because after butchering my hair, I needed her to redo it and her room stunk of bud. She was passive aggressive and kept acting like she was in a hurry. It was even worse when she told someone she had nothing to do the rest of the day and that she was on vacation. Such a disappointment because it seems like the other ladies that work for her do a fantastic job and have customer service skills. What a let down. I had to undo my hair halfway through the day and straighten it.

I am lucky enough to have worked with Jojo on three different occasions. Each time she brought to life exactly what I had envisioned and my wedding day was no different. Both Jojo and Kat were able to work with every bridesmaid, mother, and aunt to bring to life what they were picturing for the day. Every hairstyle was as beautiful as the one before it. Everyone's makeup was truly flawless. It was easily 90 degrees for better part of the day and everyone was just as fresh and beautiful at 11pm. Both Jojo and Kat were amazing additions to our beautiful day. I cannot wait for a reason to go visit Jojo again! Thank you for making me feel like a true beauty on my wedding day, I could not have done it without you!
