Had my first visit today and I was so happy, I was tired of my long hair and needed a good haircut, I was not disappointed, the young lady who washed my hair was so thorough and massaged my scalp which was so relaxing. Steven cut my hair and gave me a great bob and spent a lot of attention on making my hair perfect. I'll definitely be back, I highly recommend them

I cannot say 1 bad thing about Gina’s Salon. Clara dyed and cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. The staff if so sweet. I am very pleased with this family run business and intend to be a client there as long as possible.

My hair was extremely damaged and I was very nervous about cutting it. Gina cut and colored my hair. I must say that it surpassed my expectations. I’ve been wearing it curly( hence the humidity) It’s low maintenance and looks amazing. Very happy. She really understands curly hair. Thankyou Gina As Arnold would say “I’ll be back “

Update: Regret not making this my usual place. Thought I was saving myself money. I finally came back and remembered why I left such a great review. Took the time to ask what I want, discuss a bit, and realllly showed me how to style and care. Literally rushed the write a great review!! I have bad hair anxiety but I didn’t feel nervous once I got here. Gloria did such a spectacular job with my hair and made me feel incredible. Doesn’t just ask for the cut you want and do it; she took her time to talk about my hair so that she can do a good job. 100% coming back here

5+++ stars!! After a few years of home dye jobs, I’d finally botched it enough I needed professional help. Thanks to all the wonderful prior reviews, I headed to Gina’s. How I’ve lived in Brooklyn for this long and didn’t know about this place is beyond me. Clara worked with me, listened, made absolutely spot-on suggestions that I thankfully listened to, and I could not be happier with the results!! I made my next appointment before I left. After so many bad past experiences, I had ditched salons but am now so happy to have found this gem of a place.

I had never been to Gina's before, and I got Stephen for my first appointment. He was fantastic. I like to wear my hair short (I mean very short), and he listened to me, he looked at the picture I showed him, and he pretty much nailed it. I could also tell from questions he asked me that he tailored the haircut to my answers to those questions (like how often I get it cut, equating to how much he trimmed around the ears, etc.) Love you, Stephen!

I work for an OPWDD agency. I brought my clients to get color and cut. Both walked out beautiful. The stylist Danielle was patient and kind and did an excellent job. She listened to their needs and executed their visions to perfection!!! The staff was pleasant and accommodating to my both of my client's physical limitations. We will be returning to Gina's for all future beauty needs. Thank you to Danielle and staff for a great experience.

Went to Gina's today for the first time. Very pleased! Clara cut my hair, and I loved the cut! She listened to my wishlist, asked questions to clarify, and then did a great job! Everyone made me feel welcomed and relaxed. They accommodated my timeline since I was getting my nails done next door. I gave them 5 stars, and will recommend to others. Thanks so much for making my day special!

Clara comes to my house and cuts my hair. She does a beautiful job...I'm very happy with her...I had two back surgeries so I don't get around that easily. Clara is a blessing!

Friendly, experienced hair dressers. I've been bringing my kids since they are young. They aren't cheap but I think they are priced comparably. They never rush you and give you the full, thorough service from washing through blowout. Definitely make an appointment rather then a walk in.

This place is a treasure. I explained what I wanted and Clara did more than expected. For the first time in years I received color, haircut, professionalism and creatively all in one place. Worth every dollar spent. 😀
