$250 to walk on the door. $1000 total for 5 minutes with a PA and 6 squirts of liquid nitrogen spray.(freezing small sun spots) No biopsy. Nothing cut off. Not even a bandaid. They were in such a hurry, I had to stop them from flying out of the door and ask “is this something I should be worried about?” “is this?” Answer- “mmm yeah,while you’re here I can get it.” Grabs the liquid nitrogen can and sprays for 2 seconds =$300 more. Guess it’s my fault for asking a question but for $200 per minute you would figure they should at least tell YOU what to worry about, instead of you having to ask them. Prescription cream was $140. My wife’s— same prescription was $10 from another doctor. Same pharmacy. Same anthem insurance

These folks charged me more than $1000 for a skin check by a PA that covered less than 20 mins—never saw a doctor. I guess the lake house needed an update, see you at the courthouse when the day comes. Never again.

I see Karly Moss PA-C and she is the best I am funny about who I see for my Doctor and let me tell you I'm not changing Doctor's because Karly has everything that makes a great doctor she has great Bedside Manner, she listens, she isn't rushing, she makes you feel comfortable and she is very knowledgeable and that to me is everything I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

I had the best visit with Hope Cook, PA-C and her medical assistant! Hope took the time to really listen to my concerns, making me feel heard and valued. Both she and her assistant were incredibly friendly and efficient with their time. I left feeling confident about my care. Thank you for such a positive experience!

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a medical facility. Lie after lies, attitudes by office staff, asked to speak to office manager only to leave VM after VM with no return call. Was seen at a different location, only to be told you must been seen by a Dr at this location they will call you to schedule, month go by to schedule no call nothing, I call in we will have someone call you back, guess what no return call.

I’ve been going to this practice for a while now but today is the first time seeing Dr. Meeks. She was fabulous! She addressed my concerns and was so nice and easy to talk to. I was also in and out in about 20 minutes and in no way did I feel rushed. Love this place!

Just left this office and had to comment on the exceptional care I received. I had an appointment with Dr. Malone for a Moh's surgery. I was called back right on time and Dr. Malone came in shortly after that. What a delightful lady she is! So kind and professional! She was able to get the spot with one incision and I was on my way home in 1 hour and 10 minutes! Her staff Dimple, Emma and everyone else I had contact with were so amazing! This was my first time at this practice and everyone made me feel so welcome! Will be returning in 4 weeks for a follow up and I have definitely found me a new Dermatology practice. Highly recommend to everyone!♥️

I was so excited to see that Ga Skin had opened a location in Jefferson. I set up an appointment for both of my children to have a total of five warts froze with nitrous. This practice bills insurance for out patient surgery for wart removal. I want EVERYONE to beware that you will pay about $300 out of pocket after insurance because of the way they bill it. My insurance said that normally dermatology offices do not consider this outpatient surgery but this practice only will use the surgery code. I recommend to call other offices in the area that bill the correct way for wart removal because it will save you a lot of money! I forgot to mention that the warts are still on my children. I was excited to start using them for my husband and myself but because of the dishonest way they bill we will go else where.

This practice runs like a well-oiled machine. I’m an established patient with Dr. Thomas. Recently had the most efficient doctor’s visit of my life. They called me back five minutes early. The doctor came into the room at the scheduled appointment time. I was out the door 11 minutes later with my bill paid, with plenty of time for the doctor to do her examination, answer my questions, and address refill prescriptions. A dream. I will say I had a skin condition misdiagnosed by a PA that is no longer there, with months of needless injections and expenses that followed. My preference is to see the doctor only now.

Dr. Malone, Katee and Brandon: Thank you for taking such good care of me on Friday Morning/Afternoon of June 7th, 2024. I am aware I had a challenging procedure. Your concern for my well-being was evident in your making sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. Your constant questioning of my physical comfort and efforts to provide me constant feedback for my mental comfort throughout the procedure was recognized and appreciated. I know I was in good hands and am sure I will be pleased with the final outcome.

Extremely disappointed with this practice, their lack of urgency and lack of empathy for their patients. Despite being a patient of theirs for years, they refused to schedule a same day appointment for an urgent skin condition - it was the first time I’ve ever called to make a same-day appointment and they also refused to attempt to add me to a cancellation list. A different practice was able to squeeze me in, even though I was not a current patient. This is the first public review I have ever left but if it helps one person, it will have been worth it. I would strongly discourage you from using this dermatology practice. Save yourself constant scheduling headaches and having to deal with a staff who refuses to ask their team questions, despite being in the same building. I have cancelled future appointments with this practice and will not be returning.

I was impressed with my overall experience with Dr. Cambell and his staff. Although I was a bit nervous prior to my procedure I was quickly put to ease once I met the Dr. and staff upon arriving at the office. I would highly recommend Dr. Cambell for any future dermatologist procedures I may need going forward.

I went in last month to the Elberton office to have what they called a “barnacle” about the size of a small raisin looked at and removed off my back. We asked about the copay and was told it was $50 out the door. We made sure of that and that they took our insurance or we would have made an appointment elsewhere. I saw the doctor for maybe 3 minutes. He said he could freeze it off if it bothered me or I could leave it. Well the whole reason I was there was because it bothered me and to make sure it wasn’t cancer. He looked at it and said it wasn’t cancer. So he put the Freon can device on there for about twenty seconds and that was it. He said it will fall off in a week or two. It took a month. No biopsy, nothing else. Out of the examination room again, like three minutes tops. Today I got a bill in the mail invoice #92812 for $211.27 ! I really hope this is a mistake because if it is not, it is simply corrupt and judging from many of the other negative reviews with billing, I’m afraid it isn’t. I could have very easily gone to Walmart and bought some quick freeze wart remover and done the same exact thing this office did for $10 bucks. In fact I remember telling the doctor I thought of just doing that but he said his stuff was better, well it took a month for the “barnacle” to fall off and I am fearful of what it actually was. Again, I hope this is a mistake and it get fixed before I have to escalate this matter further. 3/16/2024 Follow up, it took a few phone calls but they knew they were in the wrong but still in the end we had to pay over $100 for something that we should not have had to pay for. This place will fleece you, so get it in writing what you are required to pay before you use their services, there is no excuse for these deceptive practices. BE HONEST!

I was very disappointed with my experience on the aesthetics side of this office. I called and asked to book a facial and was told pricing would be around $110. Any facial I have ever received has been a series of cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, extracting, etc. This is the type of facial I was expecting. However, when I was called back for my appointment, I was taken to a chair in the back where I was given a chemical peel. This is where they apply something to your face that burns really bad and then wipe it off and send you on your way (all in all about a 15 minute experience) and then was charged $145. As a new mom who rarely does anything like this to treat myself, I was very disappointed with this “facial”. If you do not offer typical facials, that is fine, but I do feel that should be made more clear when people call and ask to book a facial- especially since facials and chemical peels are listed as separate services that you offer on your website.

After talking with management at this facility I felt the need to edit my review. My intent was in no way discredit the treatment I’ve received from my doctor or any of the associates at this office. The service I received from them directly has always been great, with the high standard they set it’s only natural to have that high of an expectation to any practice they refer you to and that’s where the issues have risen. While my frustration is valid in the lengthy timing of all the issues I’ve faced to try and get this potentially life altering medication, it was directed at the wrong business entity. So I guess if anything negative could be said, is I wish the practice offered more services to where they could have more control over the process instead of having to refer you out to another business because then you’ll be at the mercy of how that other business chooses to do things. And if anyone reads this the “other business” I’m referring to is UCBC.

Dr. Meeks, Jordan, and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable on my first visit. Dr. Meeks was outgoing and made me feel comfortable during my examination and explained things very well. I highly recommend Georgia Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology to anyone looking for a great Dermatologist and supporting staff!

Dr. Ross Campbell, his faculty and staff are the best of the best. Wait times are always short. Surgeries are well coordinated, professionally administered, and quick. Skin checks and prevention treatments are thorough and well monitored (thank you PA Phillips and PA Rosen) There is very minimal scaring when you follow their post surgery home care. I started at the Oglethorpe Avenue location in Athens, and now I visit the upgraded Resurgence Drive location in Watkinsville, Ga. I have been treated more than 20 years for skin related cancers at many other facilities. Georgia Skin Cancer & Aesthetic Dermatology is the absolute best. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience at this facility yesterday. Once I checked in, I was brought back very quickly. The nurse was very nice and attentive to my issues. The Doctor came in and was very thorough and informative, and made sure I was comfortable/no pain during my small procedure. All in all, I am extremely happy with my care!

I just got a bill for 312.00 . This was for a dermatologist to take twenty seconds and about two dollars worth of liquid nitrogen to freeze something on my head and my ear. Along with that visit I got no instructions on how to care for those two spots. I've never had that type of treatment, there was no explanation from her as to why she was doing it nor was there any mention of aftercare. One day after that treatment, those two spots made me look like I had leprosy and hurt like hell. She was in my presence for less than ten minutes. I was early to my appointment and waited about fifteen minutes to have my seven minute session with the doctor. This simply proves how screwed up our medical system in this country is. I'm sure most dermatologists offices charge like this but I just wanted folks to know that this office charges more per hour than most high dollar defense attorneys do. I'm sure I could have asked more questions but felt like I was being hustled through their system.

Walked into the office with a room full of patients, and I thought I had a heck of a wait in front of me. I waited about 10 minutes and was called back the provider was in the room less than a minute after the nurse brought me to the room and reviewed what I was brought in for. The checkout was very efficient. Great job to this medical office!
