Dakota did an amazing job with my curls Ive never seen so much life and shine in my hair. I could never figure out for the life of me what to do with them. She gave me a lot useful tips and product i can use. I 100% recommend her for curly hair appointments I will be going back for sure.

My sister booked an appointment for me with Dakota as a birthday gift. She has been to see Dakota for a couple years as her hair is very curly and Dakota is a very experienced stylist in curly hair. I have always considered my hair to be wavy and insisted on this when asked about my hair before my cut. Dakota gathered the information needed in regard to how I care for my hair (low maintenance hair girly) and took great care in listening to my wanting of layers. By the time we got to styling and I could start to see the shape of my hair while it was being diffused by her, I was crying. I have NEVER seen my hair look this way without using a curling iron and I never knew my hair was capable of curling this way. Dakota helped me discover a part of myself that I never knew and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you one hundred times. I can't recommend her services enough. It is priceless to have found a new part of me.

Always have a good experience. My most recent appointment with Casie was great! She did exactly what I wanted, making me blonde again and leaving no signs of those roots. Would definitely recommend!

Had a balayage/foilyage done by Dakota yesterday, and I’m so happy with it. I had been neglecting my balayage for 2 years and finally found a salon in the area that I liked. She was extremely tentative, especially with how long my hair is, worked well with the already lightened hair I had, and was more than willing to answer all my questions regarding proper care for my kind of hair. The website does say she specializes in curly hair, however she had no issues taking on my pin straight hair for an evening. Super pleased.

I got my first color ever a couple years ago with Maddy and it was perfection! I also get my maintenance cuts from Elise and she is so nice and outgoing (which is great because I’m such an introvert). Her recommendations are SPOT ON!! I always look forward to getting my hair cut here.

Elise is my girl!! She takes whatever inspiration picture or really bad description of what I want, and turns it into beauty WITHOUT FAIL! She is good at what she does, and she is passionate about making people feel their best after they leave her chair. She is also an amazing friend, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Erika is an amazing stylist! She is a terrific communicator, talking me though the process of my goals and giving me realistic expectations, while exceeding them! Very happy with her efficiency, quality, and expertise with coloring and cutting. She is easy to talk to and I always enjoy seeing her on a personal level. I will definitely be returning regularly.

Fusion hair salon has the best atmosphere and stylist who remember everything. While sitting in the chair it feels like you are chatting with one of your best friends. Every stylist here does amazing work. I went from blue back to blonde to now brunette with such ease and life still left in my hair. I recommend this salon to any new person in Grand Rapids or anyone who wants to get a color or something as simple as a haircut.
