Ok, I totally love this place 💗 Came in and got a haircut by Zac after chopping off my locs. What a gem! He really listened to my wants, while still offering suggestions and tips to care for my hair in its new state. Great energy, I’ll be back for sure.

Icis is beyond amazing. I booked a silk press and when I say my hair is soft, shiny ,bouncy and holding up in temperature exceedingly 95 degrees that’s the honest truth. I would recommend her to anyone. This was my first time at the salon and I must say it was an experience everyone should have. You will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back and receive my color service.

Incredibly kind and attentive staff. Zac understood & ran with my hair vision and brought it to fruition, along the way providing sustaining and filling conversation. A gem of a human and an amazing stylist. I feel like a confident queen walking around with this haircut. Will 100% be back!! Thank you Fruits Hair Lab! 🥰🌸

I told Brian I couldn’t afford his new prices after 20 years. I had mentioned going over $300 was too much for me personally….. He booked me with Erin and Grace so I assumed they were under that price or close……shame on me for trusting and assuming. They were so sweet but took 4 hours and I still wasn’t finished. (I’m usually out in 2.5 hours so I had no idea it would take that long) I had to leave with a wet head to pick my kids up and I was still charged $466. I cried on the way home because I wasn’t expecting that price and I didn’t even get my hair dried. I never got an apology from Brian which hurts after 20 years and friends at work offered to trim up the back of my hair for me because it’s uneven which just adds to my frustration. I won’t be returning and hate to make a review like this.

Bren did a great job with my haircut! She gave me great advice on the perfect cut/length for me. The vibe of the salon was perfect. There were also the sweetest pups hanging out. To all my fellow introverts too afraid to call, please don’t be! The entire salon is very welcoming and kind, I promise! I can’t wait to go back for color!!

Bren is the best! As a curly gal, going anywhere for color is always kind of nerve-wracking, but I’ve had absolutely nothing to worry about at Fruits. She helped me with a color correction over a year ago to get my hair to the bright blue color I was looking for and I’ve been seeing her ever since! The salon is so welcoming and all of the other stylists and support staff are wonderful as well. I would give this place a million stars if I could!

Erin was such a sweetheart and the experience was so wonderful! I was comfortable the whole time, even while my hair was being washed out and the dog came over to cuddle to make sure! I would recommend for anyone wanting bright, colorful, fun, or even just a relaxing and enjoyable process!

FRUITS is a place for everyone! My daughter and I both get our hair cut & colored by Erin & Grace (& now Zac too). My daughter is early 20's and GDY bold colors are great for her. I am in my 50's and had never colored my hair & was very nervous to do it. They listened & did a consultation with both of us & we love our new colors & styles! The entire staff is so warm & welcoming (& the dogs). We feel like part of the Fruits family.

I am so, so very happy to have found Fruits Hair Lab. All of the staff are amazingly talented. They are personable, and kind. They listen and value all individuals who walk into their salon. Truly does feel like "an inclusive safe space where you can express yourself through hair" like they state on their website. My kind of people. Why can't everyone be like that? Feels like I have known them for 20 years. And they are experienced stylists, experts at incredible haircuts, styling, and color (I have not personally had color, but I see the fantastic results in the clients who are there when I am getting my haircuts). My 19 year old daughter and I both say that the absolutely amazing haircuts/styles for both of us at Fruits are the best in all of our years combined. Our stylists are the insanely talented Zac and Bren, but all stylists and staff are truly phenomenal. They are located in the up and coming Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville. A 30 minute drive for me, but so, so worth every mile and I truly feel like a million bucks when I walk out that Fruits Hair Lab door!

I cannot say enough good things about Fruits. All the folks who work here are so welcoming, kind, and fun. All the stylists are insanely talented, creative, and excellent at making your vision a reality in the best way possible. Erin is my regular stylist and they are not only a phenomenal stylist, but also a really rad human. My family absolutely won’t go anywhere else in Nashville for our hair.

I’ve sat with Erin twice now and absolutely love them and Fruits! Everyone is super welcoming and make you feel right at home. My visits at Fruits have been the only times I have left a salon and not felt the need to make a few adjustments to my cut afterward myself. I will definitely be continuing my hair journey here and can’t wait for my next appointment.

Not saying this because it’s owned by Hayley Williams I am saying this because it’s true. This has been one of the best salon experiences I’ve had, I have only had the pleasure of working with the very talented Erin and Grace but everyone has been nothing short of sweet, compassionate and welcoming! My last visit was the perfect combination of conversations and no awkward silence that I truly appreciated. I hope I can call this place my home salon for years to come! ❤️❤️❤️

Too long, didn’t read version; Erin gave me a very different style than what we discussed. I’ve been trying to get management to address my unfortunate results for weeks but aside from having Erin cut off more hair, there has been no resolution other than an email in which I am told by the salon that “it appears we aren’t the right fit to work together in the future. We are sorry that we didn’t meet your expectations” aka “we won’t help you, and don’t come back :)” I had a conversation with stylist Erin detailing that I wanted a trim, and sections added into my existing fringe, I left with what more than two people have called a mullet. I was too shocked to do anything except smile and pay, I immediate called them when I left to ask for help, The stylist who gave me this haircut offered to address it but as you can imagine, I didn’t want this person to cut my hair again, and being as upset as I was, I didn’t really want to see them again. No one offered to have management reach out, or ask if there was anything else they could do. It felt very cold, like the salon doesn’t really care at all. I would suggest going there for good color, but I definitely wouldn’t suggest expecting good customer service if you didn’t get what you asked for and need a resolution. And trust me, I hate being a “Karen” about it, and I know hair grows back, but y’all, I already had a Bob, I couldn’t really afford to lose more hair. Especially not like this. I’m sure you can guess which photo is before, and which is after.

Absolutely a great experience! I felt like I belonged and everyone was so nice and felt like a big family! And the salon pups were the icing on the cake! Marissa did a fantastic job on the cut and I couldn't have asked for better color from Grace! Can't wait to go back!

As someone who has dyed my hair every color of the rainbow for the past 10 years, I had my best ever salon experience at Fruits! The space is welcoming & comfortable: they offered beverages, and I got to pet a sweet dog. Bren spent time before we started to chat with me about my hair history & concerns, and she used that info + her skills to make my hair look incredible. I feel like the cutest version of myself every time I look in the mirror thanks to Bren at Fruits 💚

I have never wanted to make a hair salon my home until I tried Fruits, and never had a hair stylist I've wanted time and time again until I found Grace! The entire experience, start to finish, both times I have been has been incredible. Everyone on staff is welcoming and warm, including fan favourite salon dog, Bogan! Grace was chosen for me-- I had no preference of artist when I booked with Fruits, as all of their work was new for me-- and I feel like it was fate. Her work is incredible, and she has a passion and integrity to what she does that places her miles above anyone else I've ever seen. Grace feels like an old friend the second you get in the chair with her. The appointments feel effortless, and my hair has literally never looked or felt better. I can't say enough good things about this salon. I spend my time between appointments excited to go back. Next time I go, Grace and I are doing something I've never done before, and I can say with full confidence that there's no one else I would trust to take me on the twists and turns of my hair journey.

This salon is brand new, and I am so excited that my stylist, Bren Z. has made it her home. The salon is super beautiful on the inside, and absolutely pristine. They offer beverages and have such a comfortable set up where no one makes you feel like you aren’t cool enough to be there Bren absolutely rocks it out, and is super upfront and creative with how to make your hair what you want. She has done bleach and tones on me forever, and we just started doing more “fun colors” while completely maintaining the integrity of my hair. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bren and the beautiful salon.
