Update January 2025: Andy has been cutting my hair now for a few years and I am as obsessed with them as the day I first got a haircut with them. A wizard with wavy and curly hair truly! Not sure what I'll do when I move states in a few months. I'll miss fruition salon and Andy dearly! Original Review: Have tried several salons in Nashville since moving here two years ago and this is the only one I've loved enough to come back! Bri (might be spelling wrong) did my hair last time and Andrea cut it this time. Both did a great job and were really helpful recommending products and hair tips when I asked (not too pushy with products though which was nice). I feel like they both nailed the look I asked for "classy but still make it fun" and helped cut my hair in a way that brought out it's natural texture. Plus the salon is super cute! Highly recommend :)

The staff was nice, but I felt that I didn’t receive what I paid for. The stylist didn’t actually cut my hair. I asked for several inches to be cut off, and she cut off so little that I couldn’t tell any difference. I then showed her exactly how much to cut off, and she proceeded to cut off barely anything yet again. The process took so long, for some reason, and I ended up paying a lot for nothing to be done to my hair and had to go home and cut it myself. I was surprised by this experience, since this place seemed to have tons of five star reviews.

I have had Ashley cut my hair twice and both times I have left speechless! She talked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. This time we went with a blunt cut and face framing layers - she told me to stop back by if I decided I wanted more layers. I really loved how it turned out, and she was so easy to talk to. Thank you Ashley!!!

I have been seeing Andi at Fruition for over a year and am always so satisfied with their work! They really take the time to get to know you and are so skilled at cutting curly hair. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends!

Finding someone who understands curly hair is a journey and process. Thankfully there's Andy, who is an expert on curly hair and also fashion-forward cuts! I live in a different state, and their expertise is worth a weekend stop in to get my hair refreshed :) Also - the salon is super cute and the rest of the staff is incredibly welcoming!

I go to Andy for anything I need for my curly hair! I've had several curly cuts, and they colored my hair most recently. It always feels and looks fantastic, and Andy is amazing at what they do!

Lilly is the best!! especially if you’re wanting blonde or vivids she’s your girl! She has been my go-to for bleach and tone (with the occasional all-over pink) for years and recently has been transitioning my roots to a highlights to blend in some natural color. Lilly will always make you feel heard and explain she process so you feel confident in your decisions. Run don’t walk!!

High end salon that makes you feel at home. From the moment you step in you’re warmly greeted and offered a drink. Everyone is friendly and make you feel special. Heather is my stylist and she’s top notch. She understands curly hair like no other and delivers on a stylish cut the two times I’ve had the pleasure to sit in her chair. Parking can be a challenge. Love this place!

I recently received a haircut from Andy (@andy.shag!) and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! As a new client, Andy did an amazing job talking me through their haircutting process while also asking me thoughtful questions to better understand my preferences & hair vision…an experience that I’d never had with a stylist before. Within minutes of being in the chair, all of my new client anxieties were quelled and I knew that I could fully trust in Andy’s abilities. Hands down one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received—and I am already so excited for our next appointment :’) Tysm Andy & Fruition team!! <3

Went in for a new client curly cut today with Stan. It was such an incredible experience. I don’t get my hair cut often because I have such a deep rooted fear of botched cuts from previous experiences. Stan is so good at what he does. It was such a relaxing experience because Stan and the rest of the staff really made me feel so comfortable and seen. I walked out today with so much more than a haircut. I feel like I’ve restored a part of myself by opening up and trusting Stan and the staff here. If you’re on the fence about booking, do it. This was my first time and I think I finally found a salon home after 9 years in Nashville. Thank you so much Stan and the rest of the staff ❤️

I’ve been a client of Stan's for years, and there’s no question why – he’s an incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced hairstylist. It’s not just a haircut or a styling session with Stan; it’s an experience tailored just for you. Kitty, with her entrepreneurial spirit and creative flair, has cultivated a space that is not only welcoming but also exudes professionalism and warmth. You'll love the chic decor and fun vinyls by local artists playing on the speakers. My recent visit to Fruition was nothing short of exceptional. The entire team made me feel welcome, and the professionalism throughout my appointment was top-notch. A special shoutout to Ashley, my colorist, who did an excellent job with my color! Andy was wonderful, and everyone at the salon was so welcoming. Andy put in a lot of thought and care to listening to what I had in mind for my haircut and checking in with me all throughout the process, and I enjoyed chatting with them all throughout. It feels like a place that really cares about the folks who come through their door. I came here mostly because they're a Green Circle sustainable salon, but I'm excited to keep coming back!

I love Ashley! She has been absolutely amazing as my hair has transitioned from thick brown locks to "salt and pepper" to "more salt than pepper". She really knows how to work with your face, your style, and whatever kind of hair you have been given. I also love our conversations.

I’ve been coming to Fruition for about a year now. I’ve worked with multiple stylists for both cut and color and I’ve loved each person I’ve worked with. Kitty is my hair stylist now and she is wonderful! At my appointments I feel well heard, taken care of and fall in love with my hair again each time. They go above and beyond to take care of you with a warm welcome, beverages, comfortable seating, and wonderful products to choose from (that they never push on you). 10/10 recommend!

I recently had my second visit at Fruition to have my curly hair styled by Heather. I would say I have between a type 3A/3B curl pattern, so the search for a good salon can be difficult. Fruition and Heather are excellent. I came in feeling brave (but a little nervous!) because I was thinking about doing something completely different for a hairstyle. I showed Heather a couple of pictures and she TRANSFORMED my hair. I am so happy with the outcome, my hair and curls feel much healthier, and am grateful to have found Heather and know that I can trust her to have an incredible style. Working with her has changed how I feel about my hair. She is so patient, takes her time, and absolutely is an expert in what she does. Thank you, Heather!!
